  1. Eh, I probably won't give it a go. I got to level 70 on WoW, got epic gear, raided at least 4 times a week, went bg's with my guild weekly also for at least 6 hours...I'm not going back to that again. And they say runescape is a grind  And would you people PLEASE stop comparing WoW to runescape? The only similarity between the two is they are MMO's. That isn't a reason to compare them. Seriously, all those WoW vs Runescape videos on youtube are just facepalms. But to talk about it on a runescape forum? I didn't know fail spread so quickly :wall: But Guild Wars 2...Now that's a reason to get excited about something. I do agree that Jagex should probably expand a bit, with the current teams they can't deal with all the problems within the week of been reported. More like 5-10 weeks...And they do a good job with regular updates, but none of them are particularly as cool as other MMO's. But I don't really care, because an update is an update. I find videos are created to cover the crap behind some updates, so I usually don't trust them.
  2. I like it, mainly because runescape lacks any form of hotkeys. Maybe we could make it changeable, in the options menu? So you can change the numbers to make it a bit easier? Also, maybe you could have hotkeys for different items, for example press alt+P to drink a dose of potion in your inventory, or alt+w to change a weapon in your inventory. Of course, to avoid any confusion, the player would first select a potion or weapon to be assigned the hotkey, and the player is free to change that potion or weapon afterwards. My mind is kind of jogging, done 4 hours of schoolwork. Hope you like my added ideas. Support btw
  3. Thanks for those answers :) I can probably calculate everything myself, I'm just not too familiar with slayer, charm drop rates, etc. and I know most of the stuff will be based on assumptions or personal experience. But all responses were constructive. Thanks guys :D
  4. Hmmm, well I have 70+ melee stats and my slayer is only 44 so...Yeah, I'll max melee stats before slayer probably :P I might range the rest of it then. Might get range to around 80, then switch to slayer and after 99 slayer, the rest of the range levels I will chin. Mage will just be lunar magic and bolt enchanting. Now I just need to work out an estimate for time...I'm assuming at least a year and a half for 99 mage/range/melee's and slayer...probably more :?
  5. Hey man, great account. Just wondering, do you sell or alch your cash? I'm thinking of creating my own DIY character after reading your blog :) If you could hit me up with a PM, I'd be greatful ;) excellent work and goals by the way, good luck :D
  6. Well, it is possible. In fact, it could be quite fun, not having to rely on other people. I am thinking of creating a DIY chracter for f2p, just to try it out. This would require quite a lot of work, but it would be an interesting thing to do. I like the idea of gathering everything you need for a skill, however it would be quite troublesome. Eh, I'm off to create it now lol. Gotta find out whether I'm allowed to sell things on the grand exchange though... Am I allowed to sell things on the grand exchange? :?
  7. Most depends on how long you play, how many tasks you do, whether you cannon or not, or you attack/strength levels. But the rough exp is 4 attack/str/def exp for 1 slayer exp. Slayer and HP exp are about the same. And at medium to higher levels you get about 0.8 summoning exp for 1 slayer exp. Again if you cannon these rates will be off some. And being at 93 slayer i haven't made to much money. But i also got in a loop of tasks where i didn't get any Spiritual Mages until 90 slayer. And all those boots i could have gotten would have added up. But don't except the big drops to bring a lot of money. Mostly rune armor/weapons and the magic runes, and pure essence, bring in money. Also doing the clues helps (I got a Zammy plate and Robin Hood hat from a Turoth clue). But i currenlty have 27m gp, spent some getting to 88 summoning. But if i had to guess i would say i made any where from 60-70m. But i might be off some. And you will make a lot more since you're doing herbs. And also doing Manage Thy Kingdom will help with making money. Thanks for the response  I don't think I'll be using slayer for money as it isn't that reliable, but I'll continue to farm herb patches after 99 farm for cash while training so I can keep a steady cash pile. Would I max my melee stats getting 99 slayer though?

Hmmm, well this is interesting. I personally think mods do a good job. They are players first, moderators second. People claim they don't fight rulebreaking, they do. But it's not a full-time job :| and when they bust the rulebreakers, people whine saying they are been too powerful. Make up your [bleep]ing minds honestly. I have met plenty of mods throughout my runescape career, and they are decent people. There are a few who are bad, and are whiny, over-zealous kids who snitched as far as they could to get the title, and they definitely don't deserve it. People tend to forget that they are just players. Some are undeserving players, and others are deserving (some do a great job). It seems you are attacking all player moderators, and generalising. You're basing your debate on biased opinions. You might not like player moderators, but I don't see why you would hate them ALL.
  9. Hmmm, interesting. I don't believe removing the ge is the answer, if jagex would get off there [wagon] and fix their screwed up economy then it might be a little different.
  10. Eh, I was thinking of chinning or Avianses (if that's how you spell it :P) but I'll probably throw range in there as well. Cn anyone answer the questions?
  11. Dorg chest, SW (combat 50 required, so no-go there) and lootshare are the only viable methods. The rest, like recoils, are extremely inefficient. To train you might as well do penguin points or exp lamps.
  12. Okay, I'm not going to get any exact, precise answers here, or estimates for that matter. But I'd like some information if you guys don't mind sharing your experiences :) After 99 Woodcutting, I'll be getting 99 Farming. In between herb runs, I'll be training combat. Via Slayer. After getting 99 Farming, I'll be maxing my combat stats (that includes mage and range). I just want to get some information on Slayer also. Okay, to the questions. I know what I'll be doing for range/mage (not slayer; other methods). I just need to know, assuming I get average speed tasks, the following: How long getting max combat will take on Slayer Whether I'll get 99 Slayer as well as all 99 combat stats (before or after?) Should I also train range with slayer if required (melee is a priority) Whether or not, at the end of 99 slayer, I'll have enough charms for 99 Summoning Thanks for all responses. If anyone has actually gotten to those higher slayer levels, if you could also give me any advice, or tell me how much you made to 99/how much you've made so far in gp I'd appreciate it :D
  13. liar@ first one please explain :? EDIT: I should of realised people would say I'm a liar. No screenie after all. Eh, have your opinions. Noone really cares but my friend, who is still pissed off 4 months later...
  14. Hah, yeah i have the exact same problem. Its quite annoying. Stupid transparent chatbox #-o
  15. Well those pixels used to be traded for real-life cash :? but it is all just for fun. Some people take it too seriously.
  16. Things aren't looking good for sony it seems ;) I know everyone has their favourites (mine been the 360). I have a lot of time for Sony, I've owned the ps1 and ps2, but I got the 360 because it had everything I wanted at a heaps lower price. Had it been the price of a 360 I might of bought it, but I honestly can't see myself buying it in the next 2 years. 360 is more successful at a business standpoint, but the ps3 has heaps more features. But the average teenager can't afford it, let alone the DVD's and games required for the thing :? I'm not a fanboy of the 360, but I can safely say that it will go strong in the future. Can't say the same for the PS3, however.
  17. I agree with the first half of your post, but I do not find Kirby boring. Quoted for truth Kirby is fun, but I only play the old games. I hate all the new games for the Wii.
  18. How the [bleep] can you hate mario? I used to like it...Then Nintendo slapped his face on every single game they made. I'm sick of it now. I can't even play the old games without thinking of those stupid Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games. They completely destroyed the game for me, too bad. I have heaps of other games I'd rather play. EDIT: Because this is a fanboy topic, none of you are going to agree. So I give up  even I would stick with some games to the death. So, don't bother asking if I'm "right in the head".
  19. Sounds great! I'd love to help out little pixel children :
  20. Err, I planned it that way! Yeah! (Does he buy it yet?) Thanks for the support tho!  no probs. I'll post my support on the RSOF soon. Also, the new pic you added looks pretty nice :D thanksa bunch, and give hawkxs a cookie for the pic. Serious? He's doing artwork for my new armour set in my suggestion thread! He's doing an awesome job as well.
  21. Nice suggestions, really liking the new random event one (I get them all the time while woodcutting. A D med rewards would make them all worthwhile :))
  22. Hey, noone said it would be that easy. I'm going to add the option of repairing it with additional hides, and because they stack you can collect quite a few per trip with other nice drops. You're guaranteed at least 200K an hour off this boss anyway. I've made sure it is pretty balanced. If you notice anything really bad that should be changed please let me know :) I still need to find a full time RuneScape job if this comes out. -.- Boss hunting? \ Yeah. Or if I reach my goals in time, amour making to go boss hunting. We have low, low prices at Polarbearblu's Amour Depot! Well in that case meet me in duel arena. You can beat up on me. And I'll just heal myself with lobsters. Great hitpoint exp that way!  I'll start work on the mage armour stats, will post them up next weekend. Hawkxs is doing an excellent job with the visuals as well, big thanks to him for taking the time to work on the armour
  23. Already going for a new 99 :P nice work dude.
  24. grats dude, I couldn't make it to the party but you know, time difference and all -.- Now 99 cooking ftw \
