  1. youre telling me that with all those pks....you dont have ~20m lying around? He doesnt pk, he pj's/rushes. No pride n that. They dont deserve to have ~20mil lying around. I realy shouldn't get into this discussion but I will say one thing. There are no rules in Pvp people can do whatever they want that means safe, tele, rush, pj, 1 item, 4 item, and even dare I say it PRAY!. If you don't like that then leave Pvp worlds and go to the duel arena or clan wars and make the rules because thats were you can do that end of story. It gets realy annoying listening to honor pkers complain about bruno and compfreak. They are doing Pvp and getting kills and drops which is the object of Pvp. Remember it says "You may lose all your items" on entry and you click enter. It doesn't say "please select your rules for pvp". They do it in a place without fighting rules get over it quit whining and either start doing what they do or log out of a Pvp world. Gawd I hate that argument. Just because it's in the game, that doesn't meen everyone should use it, that's my controversial opinion. It ruins the fun if people PJ, rush, 1 item, 4 item or prot prays.
  2. ROFL   It's RS music silly :
  3.  Best idea EVER! Of course it would be a Jagex creation "rick-rolly" song, not actually having rick astley sing ingame, that would just be weird... Of course, it has to be accompanied by an actual joke as well.
  4. Must say I lol'd at the "Did you know?"
  5. No no no, the Easter bunny can't do anything right! I want him to mess up this year too :D Or I'll be mad
  6. It was the 2nd most epic quest I have ever done, and I'm thrilled to know this guy is doing my favorite series now \
  7. Happy Birthday RuneScape! And congrats to Jagex
  8. Welcome back mate : EDIT: What don't you like about the GE btw?
  9. Well....yea I guess that is sort of true. But I think what defines these "Special quests" are the fact that they have multiple parts for all lvls.
  10. Well not there not going to say: Massive Quest with multiple parts. now are they? True  But they aren't going to make a new category just for 1 quest either. I think they're intending to do more Multi-part ones and that we might have one on the way.
  11. It can't be both GM AND Special. RFD is no longer Master, but Special. Now that that's cleared up, I don't think I'm analyzing too far. They made a new category, labeled it "special questS", and then only put 1 quest in there? Knowing that we have what was supposed to be nr.150 coming up, I think it's worth discussion.
  12. I'm pretty sure only the last part will be super-hard, seeing as the point of Special Quests is that they go from Novice to GM lvl so that everyone can do a part of it at the very least.
  13. The 150th quest was "The Chosen Commander". What you're referring to is what was SUPPOSED to be the 150th quest, but is still in development. And I'm not sure if it will be a "special" quest, since MMG said something about it being GM I think. He could have ment that the hardest part will be GM level of course.
  14.
  15. In the KB under Quests there have now been added an extra category in addition to the others (Novice, intermediate, experienced, master and Grandmaster). This category is called "Special quests". The only quest in this category is Recipe for Disaster. The description says: "Massive quests with multiple parts". Notice "questS", implying that there is more than one. Currently there isn't.... Could this suggest that we might get another massive multi-part quest soon? I do know that the Grandmaster category also only holds 1 quest so far, but Recipe for Disaster has been out a long time. It would seem kind of random to create a new category to hold just 1 quest now without having intentions of releasing more in the near future. Discuss :)
  16. Air striking and flowering was both illegal, whip is damn powerful enough as it is, anchor was obviously overpowered, and the new Bandos agility was the best xp in the game but only required lvl 60 agility.
  17. I'm doing the quest right now, and it's definitely a worthy 150 for me :thumbsup The "Throne of Bandos" music is so eerie and awesome :
  18. Actually, after years of playing the RS2 engine, I can't say that I even found route-finding to be a problem. Maybe I just got used to it, and the problem is acutally very noticeable to a newbie. If you play the game long enough youll be able to easily predict your character movements even with route finder "problems". Then you just learn what ways you need to click to avoid massive dancing and voila, the "problem" is gone. Also let me just point out to you guys another enormous problem with this game: the updates are not thought out at all. Example? They have just now added code to prevent wind striking...THIS BIG OF A GAMEPLAY HOSER SHOULD HAVE BEEN SEEN DURING DEVELOPMENT. How long is it going to take them now to update similar things for every bronze weapon, every low damage bow/arrow/bolt/knife, every noob-level quest weapon, the plain staff...and then after they update all these they are going to need to implement a system to prevent people from brewing down to 0 att/str/ranged...this is just absolutely [developmentally delayed] and the problem solving strategy is also absolutely [developmentally delayed]. How about this: If you are in combat with the same person in a single-way zone for more than 10 minutes you stop gaining drop potential. This is the simplest damned solution and it took me about 10 seconds to think of. Also upon analyzing the wind strike removal, my first thought was "okay! now what other weapons could be used" It seems Jagex doesn't think like that (or else the update today would have included more than a simple strike spell nerf), and wants to just wait for problems to become too widespread (BH RWT anyone?) and then just fix that, then wait for the next problem to become big, and fix that. They aren't looking to cure the illness, they are just remedying the symptoms. Also I would just like to point out to everybody that there will never be an end to RWT because at the very least, there will always be discrepencies between player-price and GE-price. I can tell you that some of the most common RWT's involve junk/high ticket items. (i.e. if you pay full cash for my phat I give you 50 dollars, or if you let me buy your elysian I will pay you 100 dollars [yeah, thats where a lot of ESS are]) Implementing GE price controls has plauged RWT enough that most of it was completely cut out. This is enough. Taking these extreme measures to eliminate TINY sources of RWT are completely un-necessary. If you think that RWTers were using the party room to gain 50k at a time you are sadly mistaken, and the sheer thought of this is just a complete joke. RWTers don't want to sit around and gain 50k every few minutes, giving less than 1m per hour. This is absolutely absurd. Most RWT is just RWT merchanting. One RWT sells to another gold seller, who hopes to sell higher and make real money. When they are dealing with trades that differ from $4.50 per mil to $5 per mil they don't have time at all to mess around with these little methods that can give 1m per hour if you work your [wagon] off. They get in, get 100m+, and go off to advertise hoping they can make money. Implementing these little "GE-to-store" caps, and removing a lot of acessibility with the party room, and capping the trade limit at a pathetic 60k per 15 minutes....just shows that nobody in charge really understands where any of the problems are in this game. That's exactly why you don't think it's big, because you're used to it. If you log on and try running around I'm convinced you will notice. And I'm pretty sick of people thinking Jagex are stupid. They most probably though about your idea, but because they have a team of highly educated Cambridge residents they found a problem with it that a mere single person couldn't. Whether it was coding issues or what it was, I can't be sure. And do you REALLY want them to postphone PvP worlds when so many wanted a way to pk again, just to stop tricking? From a buisness point of view I'm definitely with them on this one. And I think most would agree from a players view aswell. They have also never said they would remove RWT. Just HEAVILY reduce it. Which they have done. RS is no longer in peril of being closed. But if RWT tries to destroy the game again they have to take action. I don't know exactly how they abused the Party Room, but if it wasn't being a problem then they wouldn't have done anything.
  19. Well, it is very big. Even deservant of a website re-design and a hoodie.... but I guess the actual quest is not on the scale of WGS. Probably the 2nd most important quest launch ever, seeing as its the first concluded storyline, only beaten by WGS since it was the first GM and was a true biggy in development for more than a year. Just because its only an experienced quest doesn't meen it's a small quest. I've seen people say they were genuinely moved by the storyline of this quest, can't wait to do it myself ^^
  20. Its a glitch with the new update, you can click anywhere on the map. It just makes you run to the closest point to that as you can, it hasn't affected me at all so far. Not necessarily a glitch.
  21. Didnt do the quest that was released today did you?! A quest?! :o:O I haven't been on Runescape yet today. Wooo! I've been waiting forever to find out what happened!
  22. Oh my lord, legendary guess. That.... is scary..... very scary :?
  23. I don't know if this has been mentioned yet, but Jagex did hold a Red Nose day event not long ago.
  24. Annoys me so bad that I can't do this quest until I get home next weekend
