  1. Well, in a few hours we will most likely know what quest they have in store for us : I'm hoping for Rise of the Red Axe 3 myself, but I know that wont happen.
  2. Jagex said this in a interview with RPG vault back in September: "Last but not least, we are continuing our storylines, and can reveal that we are currently working on the largest and most challenging quest yet, which will give more insight into the history of RuneScape." September was not long before the release of WGS, and this was late September too. And WGS didn't really reveal alot of the history of RuneScape, did it? And I wouldn't say it was THE largest and most challenging quest either. I'm thinking 150th quest, what about you? :D
  3. It's not a miss on Jagex' behalf. As several people already pointed out, this is what your character believes when he starts the game. I just had a talk with the priest in the Lumbridge church, and when you ask him "Who is Saradomin?" he is quoted as saying: "Surely you've heard of Saradomin, he who created this world alongside his brother Zamorak and Guthix". So that's pretty much set in stone then? :)
  4. [hide=] I just wanna say that I can't believe that the Fremennik storyline beat out Elves, Gnomes AND Temple Knights.... [/hide] And why oh why did the Dwarf series only get 4% of the votes?? They are brilliant and we haven't had a continuation for almost 3 and a half years god dammit!!
  5. Nah. It's unusuable at the moment. It isn't even examinable. I ment that Lucien's people might be using it, even thought it's unuseable to us.
  6. Been there since sometime in December. Maybe just a way to get into Luciens base which is just over those hills?
  7. I remember killing hundreds of men in al-kharid for 1k gp so I could buy a Mith Scimmy at the scimitar shop there :) Then the great depression when someone told me they could turn it into a "fire scimitar" and scammed it from me  Then I also remember reading my first newspost (about a year after I started probably, lol), about Eadgar Ruse :D
  8. To answer your question: Yes, we are really on 149 quests ;) About the 150th one, I am kind of leaning towards it being the quest they spoke about back in August, seeing as the one they would want to make better and harder than RFD, the 100th quest, would be the 150th one. I know for a fact the 150th will be special at the very least, seeing as a Mod promised either a new skill, a new GM quest or a large new area (elven city, east etc).
  9. Thanks to all of you ^^ I did notice it didn't look as good with no anti-aliasing. Put just couldn't put my finger on what it was :)
  10. Just what is the anti-aliasing graphics option ingame? What difference does it make changing it to 2x or 4x? Help is greatly appreciated : Pictures is even better :D
  11. It's not that hard to swim with an extra 30 kg though.... but I see your point.
  12. [hide=] thats the same number as the one in your siggy...what are the chances? [/hide] Uhm, it's him hitting the Waterfiend, not the other way around...
  13. ^Lol :D It's true, NPC's want drinks all the time :)
  14. This game is set in the time of the God Wars, and therefore Icyenes are not extinct ;) Funny how there's still houses  What? :?: Wasn't there houses at the time of the God Wars? In the quest Meeting History you travel back to the time when people first settled in Runescape, and they have a farm.
  15. Can I ask how many QP you have? :o As a quest caper I can tell you that RS has a very deep storyline(s).
  16. This game is set in the time of the God Wars, and therefore Icyenes are not extinct ;)
  17. Oh well :P It's RuneScape related atleast.
  18. Since I've hardly seen it mentioned, I thought I should let y'all know about the RuneScape inspired FunOrb game that was launched today, Armies of Gielinor, which is looking preeeetty good from what I've seen so far. It's sort of reminissent of what Mobilising Armies might feel like, and I really like it so far. Only played the tutorial so far though :P It even includes battle scenes that look like RS ingame gameplay. You can choose to recruit legions from Guthix, Saradomin or Zamorak. I chose Guthix and could recruit Druids, Mounted terrorbirds, wolves and more. The goal of the game is to conquer buildings to gain victory points and it's turn based. The first to get a set amount of points wins. There is also different landscapes, there's the KBD, General Graardor and probably more that I haven't discovered yet. Those are all Members though (except for the KBD), and I doubt I'll be one anytime soon. So check it out for yourself!
  19. The rules are there to make PKing more fun for everyone. The big ones are: 1. No safing. Safing is to eat while you're high hp, thus resulting the fight to last forever. 2. No PJing. Perhaps the most annoying of all. People attacking you right after you kill someone and you are low hp. Dragon claw specials, Dark Bow specials and G Maul specials are frequently used for this. 3. No protection prayers. Along the same lines as safing, noone will ever win if you use protection prayers during a fight. And most people will shun you for it.
  20. That's stupid. So we should just accept everything? If something needs to improve, Jagex wants to know.
  21. Agreed  But this is a RS forum, gotta cut down on the WoW talk.
  22. I agree. PJing is the only thing that's keeping me from falling in love with PvP worlds. Then again, the old Wilderness system had the same problems.
