I believe that wallpaper was released several years ago. And it came through with the Defender of Varrock quest a couple months ago.

They dropped loads of hint. For example the Oracle was heard saying: The snake of Guthix guards more than she knows. Which was of course a reference to the fact that the Stone of Jas was hidden in those very caves. Then, in the Chaosudoku from the chaos elemental in 2007 there was a hidden clue stating: "Mahjarrat gathers an army. He shall slay many masters." Which of course came true :cry: And then the Hazelmere prophecy which I can't remember word by word, but it said roughly that some men following the path of the slayer and some following the path of the warrior will gather in the north to fight the evil.

I think you're generalising too much here. The vast majority will atleast say "gf" afterwards. And the argument to try at a busier time isn't valid, since there were 155k people online at the time.

The one I went to was the most populated out of the THREE (not 2). And 155k people was on at that moment, which is quite a lot.

My question is simple: Why oh why is the most populated themed world for Duel Tournaments almost empty (meaning that reg 1, 2 and 3 are doing tournies, but not 4 and 5). Tournaments are so much fun, and I know that many people think the same. So why are there so few people doing them?

What do you mean nice story? do you even know what everquest is? I remember being on call for my guild to do the cleric epic, we had to get up at 3 am to slay a dragon that only spawned once a week and like 15 guilds all had people camped in the zone waiting for it to spawn. This game (questwise) is a joke, its wicked easy. IF you think the new runescape quest an example of a hard quest you are a mmorpg noob. Noone should be forced to get up at 3 am for a game.

Yes, because everyone under 130 IQ is an immature, obnoxious idiot. :roll: Pretty much. I'd even go as far as to say 140. I hope you're kidding.... less than 1% has an IQ of more than 140. I know for a fact that I got an IQ lvl of around 125. The normal is around 100, so I really hope you're not serious.

If it looks like RS, than it stands a very small chance to gain any status in comparison to leading titles such as LOTRO, WoW, EQ2, Guild Wars 2 etc etc. We are almost in year 2009 and people want to use their computers with games that can give them the "wow-effect" (not world of warcraft). When was the last time you honestly logged into RS and did a 360* spin to look at the environment and went ... WOW ? The last time I did that was today :) HD rocks! Anyways, Jagex have stated that the new game will be a Java game, and probably browser based I guess, but one step above RS HD.

Even if the market price(not the GE price) of the dragon lump crashes won't people just use coinshare when fighting the demon? Thus keeping it from crashing?

Maybe that's the "chance for an awesome hit" part of the spec. :-k Could be but I'm guessing it's going to be fixed because it shows some sort of pattern which doesn't seem like a normal attack. After all we all thought the Abyssal Whip's spec was max or nothing but it got fixed too :\. It was just a coincidence, seen other pics with spec of like 22-11-6-5. And wow, this wep looks like it can do some major damage! :ohnoes: Will we be seeing specs like 36-36-36-36 = 144? The 6 and the 5 in your example adds up to the 11..... kind of an unlucky example eh? : Or maybe it's always like that?
