I've got the programming skills to write my own macro - I could write one to automatically bury the 1 million bones it takes to get 99 prayer. I could develop it, test it, and the publicly release my source code. If I used this to get 99 prayer, I wouldn't have an "unfair" advantage, because its available publicly to everyone. Its still against the rules. Similarly, someone wrote a driver that when they held their mouse down, it automatically clicked at the rate to high alch. They were banned for macroing, even though they weren't gaining an unfair advantage - anyone could do this. My point is that the way the rules are defined now, and the way Jagex polices them needs to change. And if not the rules, also the game to prevent these issues from happening (limits of input in a given update). My biggest issue right now is it isn't very well defined how much input needs to be human, and how much can be programmed. Autoclicking is bannable, while stroking your thumb across three buttons to do a task faster than is humanly possible isn't. Where is the line? Is there even a line? 1. Your not allowed to train afk (its in the rules) and that macro could train afk. 2. You could afk this by taping down the mouse button or similar 3. Your still at the computer if you are using mousekeys but you can afk an autoclicker. The fact that he has to input most everything by himself but the mouse makes it faster makes it ok. If this was bannable disabled people would get gf'd by Jagex. :ohnoes: Exploits are win.

Mousekeys has been a feature of Windows since the early 90's. From Microsoft's own website: "Mousekeys is an accessibility feature designed for people who have difficulty using a mouse" If you use Mousekeys for its designated purpose, then no, its not cheating. In fact, I'd say you'd put yourself at a disadvantage because you wouldn't be using a mouse. If you're using it in combination with an actual mouse, then you defeat the purpose of Mousekeys, and I would have to insist that its macroing. When you combine Mousekeys with that mouse, not only do you defeat the purpose of Mousekeys, but you're gaining an (unfair) advantage doing it. You are not gaining an unfair advantage, everyone can use mouse keys. End of story. The only way you could ever have an advantage over anyone in runescape is by using a bot that plays while you are not there since no one can play while they are afk. Every other "macro" just makes the game easier for people without the skills to do it themselves. <-- Poorly worded lol Example: Player A took a class and can type 100 WPM Player B can type 30 WPM Player A has an advantage technically but he shouldn't be banned. Player B could use an autotyper to get 100 WPM. (I hope people understand what i'm trying to point out lol.) In the end, there are things called cheats and exploits. This mouse is an exploit. It doesn't break any rules but uses flaws in the coding of the game to achieve AWESOMENESS. (if you call them flaws lol.)

Not against the rules. I see alot of people saying "1 imput = 1 output" <- They say the mouse clicks like 28 times for 1 human click If i was to take a scroll wheel, and use it's programableness (like the mouse) to make it so that every time the wheel spins a certain amount it does my herbs and banks them after however many clicks would be needed to clean all herbs, bank, and withdraw. If my scroll wheel is well lubricated so that it spins multiple times when I give it one big spin is it cheating? No. I only used 1 input and got multiple outputs. It isn't cheating. I am just using momentum to my advantage. Just picture the said " Macro Mouse" as a scroll wheel. Your using momentum to your advantage 8-) Even though he isn't actually using a scroll wheel, the outcome is the same. So the mouse is not against the rules. *Puts on heat resistant gear*

That would make said items available to players with the minimum stats needed to wield them = Better How many people with 65 def can afford bandos? Not many. This sets the stage for high level UNTRADEABLE armor and weapons which would make the game more awesome because people would have to be around the level required to kill the boss to get the gear, instead of camping chins or whatever people do for cash these days.

The fact that curses automatically destroy prayers makes it obvious. Curses = boss hunting win and pvp win. If you have turmoil pvm is for curses too.

A permanent fix is needed, not a crude temporary one. Instances seem the most logical for this.

To keep this on topic Even though you can train a little bit faster i think this update was pointless tbh, anything that could be done with constitution could have been done with hp. I like how Liberate puts it

I don't recall asking for weapons that allow you to easily kill monsters. I simply suggested a solution to the problem you had with having any more powerful weapons in pvp. And no, asking for a more powerful weapon is not the same as saying the game is too hard(even though nobody even asked for one, jagex put it in a Q&A after the question that asked if we would ever see a more powerful weapon then the godsword in the game). Whoever it was that was saying he would like a more powerful weapon meant he wanted a weapon that wasn't horrible for training but could still kill higher level monsters within reasonable speed. And, he's not talking about boss monsters he's talking about how most people just power train on lower levels, 80-90, because they know they can't kill a higher level, 130-140, fast enough to be even worth trying to train on. I really wouldn't want another godsword-like weapon, I'd want a weapon that instead of just power is also semi fast. Right now the whip is obviously the best weapon for training but comparing a whip(just a whip no shield) and a godsword the godsword beats it in power(strength bonus) by a long shot. Right now the whip is what you'd power train on lower level monsters with because you can get better xp using it and the godsword is what you'd typically use(unless you're high enough level to make the whip out match the godsword) to kill higher level monsters. Maybe a weapon that's more of an in between a whip and godsword, more powerful then a whip and faster then a godsword but still not as powerful, in terms of strength bonus, as the godsword. To me that's what I'd consider more "powerful" then a godsword, a fast weapon that's also a higher hitter then a whip oh and one-handed not two-handed. Of course you could see this would cause a problem in pvp because a fast, one handed "godsword" would be devastating against a player which is why I'm suggesting it should just not be allowed in pvp, but it should be allowed in safe pvp(similar to how extreme pots are). EDIT: I just realized how completely off topic this whole discussion is lol Sounds like a crossbow on rapid except a crossbow is weaker than a whip and slower. *imagines class 5 sc daggers in pvp* :shock: I was about to say this was off topic too lol.

And that would be stupid, asking for a weapon that lets you rape things with much higher combat than you is the same as asking to make the game easier because it is too hard. So unless Jagex releases an update that lets your combat rise to 300, the monsters level 300 should still be somewhat superior. But, Tbh at lvl 110 I can solo any monster except corp beast so the game is already easy. Jagex should focus on making a monster that you have to have a team to beat or you will get pwned. (until woox16 decides to solo it :o) Or make monsters that are a higher level than you extremely powerful :cool: EDIT: got rid of huge quote boxes

If I remember right they said in one of the QA's that some of the new armour and wepons would be like Kuradels ring. Therefor only working in certain areas. Ah, I see. They also said they're working on weapons even more powerful then godswords so you never know :blink: Because melee definitely needs more powerful weapons. L... You obviously haven't been using the whip for the past...5 years. Or is it 6? It's been so long since I've actually trained with a different weapon. Oh well, of course there's the Saradomin Sword, though that's just another whip that you hold in two hands. Even that was brought out years ago. Melee really hasn't seen much action in a while in terms of useful combat equipment. Bandos is still the most used armor. Whips are still the most used weapon. Dragon Boots. Fury. Barrows Gloves. DFS. The same old stupid helmet from that barbarian quest that was released years ago. I want to actually train on high level monsters (level 300-500) and get good XP, and the only way to do that is to make weapons and armor that let you hit on them like I hit now on level 100s. Right now, the best xp comes from fighting monsters that are weak and noobish because there aren't strong enough weapons to gain good xp off of the high levels. And right now, the only way to really fight high level monsters is with protection prayer, which is outrageous because I'm sick of not having armor that can protect me against them. As in powerful I'm talking burst damage like ags or claws. They are far beyond other weapons in terms of raw ko power. Whip is more dps. And if you release whose weapons range and mage might as well just be removed from the game, When your hitting accurately on monsters much higher level than you what do you think will happen when you use them on a player? Jagex should at least bring range and mage up to date with melee before even thinking about such an update.

Tbh I could care less about autotypers and the adverts. Neither really affect me much. You just get used to them after a while.
