New to Members: Help!
I'd do, in no particular order (and, of course, in retrospect): fairy tale 1, wolf whistle, all stats to 10/20/30/40/50, druidic ritual, every other quest. Farming can be as high as 400k per 5 minute run (one run per ~70 minutes) and as such is great money, but it requires pretty high levels. Once you can farm ranarr (32 farming) you can expect to make 50-100k per run. Always use supercompost and the secateurs from fairy tale 1.

83 to 85 herb
Just use them with your farvourite offensive special. Borrow claws and go wild on task . Also, the Warrior made me smile :).

Need help with barrows gear and inv.
Do you have access to ancient magics, and are you willing to get level 82 magic first? That would allow you to use the ancients + salamander method pretty well. Otherwise, get 70 prayer and a chaotic (rapier) and melee them all.

Rapid renewal, Rapid Heal
Very nice calculations. Rapid heal might be nice for those people who slay with piety, I guess, but personally I prefer turmoil :P.

Farming
Indeed, all that was posted above is good stuff :). I recommend seriously farming for profit once you reach level 50 (avantoe). It should bring in over 100k per 5-minute run. Snapdragon (level 68) is even more, and torstol (level 85) is around 400k per run. For torstol to profit, you need to use juju potions, and a scroll of life is highly recommended with both snaps and torstol.

Fight Caves Jad - Tips?
I would recommend meleeing the caves (as I always do, lol) or at least that you try it. When I went for Jad as a level 100 or something, it took me so long and so much in brews/restores that I just hated starting it, because it was just really boring. Now that I melee the caves (and gained 20 combat levels, granted) it's twice as fast and, in my opinion, less of a problem to die at Jad because I wasted less time. If you melee the caves you kite the 360's. To kite a 360, stand one space away from the monster, right-click it, select attack, and click when you see the start of the magic attack animation. Once your attack animation starts, move one square away. Repeat. You would use ordinary slayer gear (switching fsh to neit if not on task, of course, and I'd recommend a soul wars cape over ardy 3/fire). You can still range Jad, of course.

Is hotkeying a button to a specific part of the screen legal?
If you made it like: f6 clicks, f7 moves 1" down, f8 clicks, f9 moves, f10 clicks, f11 moves, f12 clicks (or some equivalent) it's legal.

Modern Moneymaking Techniques
Try dungeoneering for a bit. If you find you like the skill, you can train it while farming for money, along with your dailies. Once you get to frost dragons, you'll have a few million ready to buy gear for them, and if you don't like the skill you can always get the scroll of life (requires 10k tokens, or about level 50). The scroll increases your farming profits by a bunch.

Training help
For farming, I recommend two things. The first is to farm your highest xp herb with a scroll of life and juju farming potions. You need 70 hunter to start obtaining seeds for the potions, and 74 hunter to get the seconds, but what I'd do is just get 70-71 hunter at common jadinkos to get some ugune seeds, then use the ooglog pool for it's +7/8 hunter boost to catch the seconds (igneous). The second is essentially treating farming like a medium-slow buyable and planting (fruit) trees, bushes and calquat, of each as expensive as you are willing to go (bushes are all very cheap, as are calquats I think). For me personally, each expense is one too many, as I'm in no hurry to get more farming xp and torstol is already around 10k per run. I've already gone from 85 to 93 farming on herbs alone and I will go all the way to 99, with a few hundred million gp profit.

What melee gear?
That's not an alternative, that's assumed in my gear list. Also the use of the best potion you have (super/extreme, ovl is really quite expensive but of course better).

62 - 73 mining.
For p2p, try granite and shooting stars.

Chaotic Rapier vs Longsword
Look closer... Is that just a display issue, a fake, or is the sword actually without bonusus now?

14-Dec-2010 - Damage Soaking and New Hitsplats
500% soak . You heal four times the damage over 200 . That'd make Jad so easy. Negative soak would be fun I guess, but pretty contrary to the intention Jagex has regarding this update.

You're battleaxe? Does that have some hidden meaning, mr. English literature?

Wait, I'm not following this anymore. Why would you have absolute movement on a touchscreen? You wouldn't have any movement at all...

Dung experience + tokens
You didn't prove anything in regard to teams being more likely to miss doors. Pot doors are not rare (as in, you're bound to get one in a dungeon), and we don't know what the door levels are based on (some/many doors are definitely based on the highest level, as I can testifiy keying with someone with all stats 90+). Your third point was a circular argument (not to speak of the fact that many dungeoneers are not maxed), your fourth simply irrelevant (as c1 rushing is just a tiny bit of dg). One thing that would make teams more likely to not notice would be the fact that there can be so much bonus room on a large, much more than on a small. But even so. I don't see Green being rude here. Very direct, perhaps.

Dung experience + tokens
If it is a large enough sample, those 100+ dungeoneers are right in drawing their conclusion. You apparently think 50 dg is large enough of a sample size. However as we both know, the chance of error is much larger with a far smaller sample.

Best mage setup
Third-age mage hat Ahrim's robetop and robeskirt Arcane stream necklace Chaotic staff Mage arena cloak Barrows gloves Infinity boots Seers ring (i) Arcane spirit shield That's max magic offence, taking no other things into account. A more suitable (safe) pvp setup would use a barrows melee helmet and perhaps a fire cape/ardy cape 3 to hybrid with melee.

Which is a pointer isn't it? Clicking somewhere generates (most of the time) "left-mouse-event" at the desired location. Obviously if you had a pen, you wouldn't have a pointer moving across the screen as well... or you would have a pointer following your pen movements, which would again be relative movement.

Do you have a pointer at all with a touchscreen? Don't you just use a pen or something to click on parts of the screen?

Dung experience + tokens
You're clutching at straws, dear. You find no proof, sure. But pretty much all high-levelled dungeoneers do find proof. Now you can certainly object to something, but within reason. You essentially say that 1-100 dungeoneering isn't large enough of a sample size to conclude that required doors require no pots. That's somewhat ridiculous, especially since we are talking about multiple 100+ dungeoneers. The tip.it guide on dungeoneering has this to say: Some doorways can only be cleared if you possess a certain level in a skill (the levels seem random). A qualified player that is permitted to attempt it may still take some damage for a failure, but can try again. If you CANNOT pass a skill door, do not be alarmed: it leads only to a bonus room, and does NOT block your way to the boss. * You can create a boosting potion with the necessary herblore levels (see Dungeoneering Skills - Herblore for more information). * Depending on the type of blockage, the door will tell you what skill level is required, and what equipment may be required, such as a pickaxe, a hammer, tinderbox, etc. You will receive some experience points in the required skill. * Players report a bug wherein the door does not recognise that they have a skill level higher than is required. Jagex is aware of this issue and presumably a fix is forthcoming. The wording suggests that you are wrong.

One click, one action still applies.

Pking.
I moved this to the graveyard, where you'll no doubt be posting your kills soon. Korasi's sword has an epic spec, but it protects over chaotics etc.
