  1. It might not be good satire, but that's what it is. That's why context is important. WHY IS THAT NOT IN THE FIRST POST? I see one other person noticed that in seven pages. Why did no one else in seven pages think to even click the link? You're treating bad satire like someone's actual opinion. We've given this piece far more attention than it deserves. You have to admit, it's made quite a discussion though. ;) I read the link as well, I just decided to take out my rage of people ignorant to the effects of videogames and MMO's in particular on this post :twss:
  2. Yeah, you probably could do waterfiends for crimson, but to be honest crimsons are better used later on, so you should save them anyways.
  3. Icky slayer. Without knowing any of his other combat stats, it's hard to tell him to go to waterfiends and grind for crimson charms Besides, slayer gives a nice mix of charms instead of just one kind :
  4. At a little higher level, like 40 or 45, the penguin course is also a good alternative. \
  5. :ohnoes:  Hopefully Jagex has learned their lesson by now then
  6. I'd definetly recommend doing more slayer, as that won't get you more than 1 or 2 more levels. As for what pouches to make, there's a very good guide in the AoW viewtopic.php?f=103&t=744156 Good Luck!
  7. That's what I assume, as he's done that with every non-tradeable holiday reward ever. If not Diango, I assure you Jagex has (Or will...) put in some way to recover it.
  8. Also, buying pineapples from the general store in Catherby for 2 gp ea is a cheap way to get a bin and a half of supercompost. Just make sure to select "I hear you sell pineapples..." option, he refreshes stock everyday. Lastly, if you're low on seeds, steal some from the master farmers in Draynor Village so you can train thieving as well
  9. How many charms do you have now? I know that when I hit 52 summoning I used all (Almost 1k) gold charms for spirit terrorbirds and got almost 57 summoning \ .
  10. You can clean off poisen by using karamjan rum on silk, and then using that on poisened objects Useful if you ever get traded a ddp instead of a dds -.-
  11. I think this saying sums up everyones' thoughts on nutrition: Everything in moderation
  12. But I'm pretty sure that it's a mini-quest, and not just an event, so if you're gonna have membership you should be able to complete it next July if you feel like it :
  13. Broad Arrows are untradeable (But Broad-Bolts are : ), but not worth 300 points learning to make. Trust me when I say that would be a big mistake, I learned to fletch them and I havent used the skill once, ever. Either spend them learning slayer rings, keep saving until slayer helms, keep it to block/cancel future tasks, or buy some slayer dart casts and make some quick cash (Basically anything but learning to fletch broad arrows/bolts :wall: )
  14. Really?! This is an outrage! How depraved can they be?! -.- Really? I've been more aroused by G-Rated Disney movies.... What is this woman smoking?
  15. Nah, you should still try it out. Even without d chains they arent bad for profit or exp, d chains are just a big bonus if you get them.

A few months ago I was a thread on the RSOF that estimated it costs about 5mil, and since the price difference between raw and cooked have been pretty stable that's probably a reliable estimate ;) I think their strategy was lobbies till 70 or 75, swordies thill 90, then monks till 99 (Don't quote me on that :twss: )
  17. Sure, I'd cope fine, but with Chaeldar its much less of a hassle, and the supplies cost less... Though I think I should do Sumona and Duradel every 10th once I hit 110+ combat :-w
  18. I do remember Chaeldar assigning me an iron task a while ago, but I just cancelled it. I've heard different things, like some people say to block steels but not irons, why are you being so adamant about me blocking irons as well?
  19. You can just go instantly to the tunnels, but you will have a significantly tougher time getting a barrows item, as killing the brothers is the only way to improve the chances of getting barrows armour. Killing creatures in the tunnel only improves drops of runes, coins, and bolt racks.
  20. Been back to slaying, and basically my question is should I use it to learn how to make rings of slaying, or should I wait until I have blocked all the tasks that I want to? I have yet to come across a task I despise with a burning passion (I use Chaeldar and Sumona on 10th), and I already know slayer helm and fletching (Fletching was a waste of points, I never use it #-o )
  21. Because your mage lvl is high enough, you should't have too much trouble, just remember plently of pray/restore pots The vampire might give you some trouble, as he is sooooo much easier to melee than to range or mage (When I maged him I lost and almost died :( ) Gl
  22. Tho it's just a waste of money to buy them if you're planning to get barrows gloves any time soon-- 'course, I'm broke :) Agreed, if you plan on going for Barrows gloves, skip the dragon ones. They cost the same Yeah, if you're planning on getting barrows gloves ASAP the drags are a waste of money. The only reason I bought them was because I put off doing Desert Treasure for, oh, say 2 years
  23. hmmm, that may have been it, thanks
  24. viewtopic.php?f=180&t=757562 There's the Ghostly Warriors guide, I'd give it a look (I'm going to try it out once I get full guthans ;) )
  25. There's this thing we like to call the Runescape Official Forums :o Sorry to be so sarcastic (Not really  ), but just look up one of those and I'm sure you will find several offers that should give you a baseline estimate
