Also, most of the stories come through quest LINES. All of the stories I told earlier connect, are needed for, or are direct sequels to the previous ones. Quests like One Small Favor do not have the most...deeply historical roots :? (Altough there are some parts like the dwarf gangster). But for the most part the quests do help reveal where the current world of Gielnor comes from.

Until I get 75 crafting to make rings of slaying all I'm spending them on is the darts, either to sell or use in barrows. Since there's nothing better to use the points for buy slayer darts and save some to cancel tasks.

Its also not only like ther is one story to be told in runescape. There are so many different lands with their own history and usually respecting quest line: the east and the fight against the vampire's tyranny told through the myreque, the gnome's and their growing power and growing corruption advances through the grand tree quests, the interaction between ardougne and the elves and the subsequent fate of runescape unwinds in the plauge city quests. I could go on, but the point is that there is not a "main" quest line to explain all of these; they are all idependant storylines that form the rich diversity that is Gielnor.

There's a really good safe spot with the turoths, its the indent on the western wall. That with broad bolts, rune xbow, and a zammy book is pwnage \ ; also I find that even with bandos pl8 at my stats the little buggers hit enough using melee just to be annoying and use up food :evil:

This is just in case I ever decide to make a pure, whenever I go train on rock crabs for a while they do not become attackable. Is there a way to keep on training on them other than being a total jerk and stealing them from others? Not really urgent, just want to know.

True fact, a lot of my friends play WoW, and I went to one of their houses for this open house thing he was having. You know what we did, played WoW, the WHOLE FRICKING TIME :ohnoes: :evil: ! I didn't even play, I was watching a friend of his from church play :| . I left the party after about an hour, I couldn't even stand it anymore. One of the main reasons that I prefer RS, it doesnt take your wallet, and it usually only takes a part of your social life :lol: This is the best way to describe WoW: :wall: , over and over again

without slayer i would have never gotten that clue scroll with ranger boots . I have always ALWAYS \ made a profit from slayer tasks, especially drags and turoths But for 70 mins pc would be a good break i think

Yeah, some way to maybe make more grinding skills less monotonus. Hopefully we can think of a way to do this without more minigames (Moar minigames r moar! :wall: ). Hoping for some kind of a addition to herblore that ISNT USELESS #-o (Looking at barbarian potions...)

But for blue dragons you might want to try to bring an anti-dragon fire shield encase one of the bigger blue dragons hits you with fire. :lol: :lol: :lol: XDXD but yeah, baby blues to get it over with, heroes build for best profit, also if you've done watchtower quest there are a lot of unpopulated blue drags with quite a few safespots for ranging, but it can get quire risky

If they serve no other purpose aside from looks, then i dont think ill be wasting my time on getting them just yet. Ill just keep with my Zammy Book and get it filled :) sounds like a plan, good luck with whatever your plans are with it :thumbsup:

yeah, I think its worth it. I just got a zammy book (After a guthix and sara book....) and it was about 1.5 mil, not that bad oh, as for why I got the other books first.....they look cool (Don't say it doesnt matter, because looks drive the runescape econ)

I think so, I haven't tried, but I'm guessing you can probably get the bull roarer back from the forester. Holy water isn't really that efficient for killing demons if that's what you want to do, just use darklight if that's what you're after

once again, what are you using your points for? Duradel is still probably good for money and exp (I don't use him :-# , but I've found the higher the master the more exp and money), but if you want slayer points for the helm, then go with sumona or lower. I personally, haven gotten the helm and broad bolts/arrows dont see much use in points :o anymore except for the 400 points of exp and selling slayer bolt runes... In short, depends on what you're after

Meh, its not really worth the effort. I got it and the only use I found for it was halberding cave horrors, and even then I'm sure other armour would have worked better. Its ok to get, but I think that the points would be better spent on the xp, or herbs or watever you buy with them =P

Mages are supposed to get owned by rangers ;) Yes, but not melee'ers who just slap on d'hide and keep meleeing. You should switch to melee offense if they put on d'hide, but as mystic has 0 melee defence and black d'hide has.. a fair ammout, you are at a serious dis-advantage hybriding in mystic. Easily solveable though, all you need to do is raise the melee defence of mystic to that of black d'hide. So if they put on d'hide, you are on par with their defences giving a fair fight, and also giving magers that little boost vs. meleers which they have complained about for a long time. Since theres 0 range def, rangers could still tear them up, which they should. we can hope for "upgrading" (more like downgrading) the ranged armors ... to have - melee stats ... in other words like -20 crush , - 18 slash , - 17 stab , +50 ranged , - 15 magic attack bonus (the numbers are just random) While that would fix the PvP to a certain extent, I think that actually upgrading the mage armours would be a better solution, mostly because I slay a lot and jellies are more annoying that usual if you dont have good magic defense. And that is only the begining, what about boss monsters who can use all 3 sides of the triangle, meleeers need mage defense; but that brings about that point that since jagex has been mixing the triangle sooooo much, they should sure up mage a bit, not bring the other skills down. Also, hoping for a dragon pickaxe and kitesheild, eastern lands, better combat emotes, and overall more ways to train boring skills and more depth to melee and in specific hitpoints in addition to what i said above.

i know that is what my goal was when i first started slayer, but then i just fell in love instantly. I would've tried them but a. i havent started desert tresure :( (that quest freaks me out) and b. i wanted to try the bones to peaches method and just couldnt go through all of the mage arena it was sooo boring. idk i got a d chain just cuz i had some cash but i sold it recently b/c the price is dropping so rapidly. Bus slayer in general, for me, is totally worth it :thumbsup:

For all of the reason stated, the general immaturity of the player base being the biggest part, a filter would not work. However, certain words and grouping of words need to be left alone. I like to annoy my friends by speaking Spanish randomly, and it's really annoying that as is censored within words just because it bears resemblance to a certain 3 letter word. And one word that they should not have censored is stalker, I just use that therm whenever some noob is following me around, and I don't see how getting rid of the word increases player safety; if anything it diminishes because players are not able to point out people who are trying to find out info or something

I enjoy clues personally, even though they haven't given me a good reward in a while. Though i can't complain much :-# , 6 months ago a pyrefiend dropped a lvl 2 clue, and as a reward i got some ranger boots when they were worth about 4.5m :o. Since that glorious day though my rewards have been pitiful, but I still do em. :lol:

I just got my first greater demon assignment frm Sumona, and I was wondering whether the ogre enclave or the brimhaven dungeon is better. The main reason I'm undecided is i kinda want the drops from them so the ogre enclave would be a bad idea, but I also dont know how annoying the wild dogs will be in the brimhaven dungeon (I've never been :?) I really dont like reventants so I'm trying to avoid the wilderness. Also, what's the best armour if there's a chance of me dying; I just bought a bandos plate and I DO NOT want to sell it to replace lost stuff. Thanks a buch :thumbsup:

When you say that there is no return on the magic or prayer skillcapes I had to think for a moment, only to realize that you were talking about money to be made from training the skill, and only that. What about the access to a multitude of spells to make your rs life a lot more efficient and fun, or wat about the ability to fight high level monsters for longer periods of time, due to lengthened prayer time. If put to use properly training these skills to 99 skills have economic value as well as sweet looking capes. I do not have any 99 skills, I just dont have the patience for it, and as such I look on in envy of anyone with any skillcape for their commitment.

there's a golden "C" really close to the outpost used to goto the outher rlm in holy grail, and the fairy ring code BJR teleports our to that other world, that's what im currently doing
