  1. Sounds like a Shamwow commercial, but yes, I thought it was awesome (posted it in Screenies thread too) The rest of the winners pretty much sucked. Doodled story about the God Wars, which was inaccurate.... I definitely wouldn't vote for that. Let's hope JeffreySonRS (youtube name) wins again next time, for something even bigger and even more Epic. Random Fact; JeffreySon was the dude who created RuneScape Extreme Emotes He uploaded a first person view of him doing the maxed skillcape emote too. |^_^| I saw. But it wasn't as amazing, first person view has too many angle changes which was annoying
  2. From personal experience, the chance of getting a +6 boost is much rarer than that. It is better to think of the +6 boost as impossible, considering the time and effort of getting each dose of spice of a certain colour. Get one more level, then try for a +5 boost (and even then, it will take a few tries). Gah, you got me. I meant +4

  4. If it's true that Mod Ash is a Tipiter, it would explain a lot. His/her updates are almost always good. I'm really curious as to who it is. I am curious how you guys got Toad = Mod Ash am i missing something? I don't think Toad is Mod Ash (though you never know). I'm just saying it's interesting that Mod Ash is a Tipiter, and apparently a well-known one. From personal conversations with Toad, I can be pretty certain that he isn't Mod Ash. The RuneFest article was interesting, the Article about Achievements and 'Fun', that was boring and just a recycled topic (Like the 'Tricking' topics). Fun is actually subjective I definitely thought the animated short on the Golden Gnomes was very epic, although it didn't tell that much of a story, mostly animations (albiet very awesome ones). I submitted many 'Dyk's', this wasn't one of the better ones, so meh.
  5. Banned for implying we have genders.
  6. No support at all. You just haven't seen the RuneScape Black Market yet. If Pmods have the power to ban....
  7. Yes it looks about due. I put my offer in around July I believe. So really, it doesn't matter when you put it in except to be next in line. But I just highly stress doing so cause if divine updated like 4 days ago and the new mid was above my offer, I would of wasted my time. That's why I stressed that. Ohhh okay, that helps a lot. I was worried about the whole concept of "camping every GE update hoping to nail the +50m update to get a Divine offer in before the thousands of others doing the exact thing." But if you waited over a month then put offer in, and still got it....That saves me a lot of worry. I'll be sure to try this. Thanks very much. Yeah no problem, but it might be very competitive now if people believe me about the hourglass thing. That's where the non believers lose. :]!

Hot I'm in College, [bleep] you 4 hour gap.
  9. Takes alot less time even with killing snakes for half an hour a day.
  10. A few facts. Bonuses like that do not stack. You cannot use a Greenman's Ale (m) on top of a stew. The chance of getting a +6 is roughly 1 in every 6 (3) dose stews, assuming you get a little unlucky, it usually gets the level at around the 8-10th stew or so. You can log out into the lobby to reset the timer, so you can technically make a thousand extreme sets with a single stew, albiet a little annoying. You should also note that negative stews DO stack, and you should wait until it returns to the normal level, or use greenman's ale to restore your level, before you try stewing any further.
  11. I was around 7 when it happened. The reality of it never really 'got to me' until I was at least 11. It's kind of tragic for something like that to happen, unprovoked, but it is now the past. Trivia; Drowning Pool's "Bodies" were censored in America, due to the people who jumped off the building on that day
  12. Question - How does JaGex influence the Tipit Staff? I'm sure, being a recognised fansite, there has been some behind the scene changes. What are they?
  13. "Don't buy Ags, its a waist!" EDIT - I just found a good example of something that annoys me. Technophobia. I mean, if you can't do the basics, don't even try. "Oh no, I accidently changed the size of my word document, what do!" "What is this? I have a virus? This thing tells me that I have a virus!" <- The 'Antivirus' popups that urge you to download it because you have some fake virus. "How do I close this" "How do I save this word document"
  14. The chance of getting 'at least' a level is much greater than getting the exact level
  15. Sorry. If I've never been there before I want to take the time to look at what they have. What's worse; An impatient waiter who wants you to order faster, or an over-conscious waiter that comes and asks if everything is okay every 5 minutes?
  16. Yay, I can post family guy quotes and stuff! "Stewie: How you uh, how you comin' on that novel you're working on? Huh? Gotta a big, uh, big stack of papers there? Gotta, gotta nice litte story you're working on there? Your big novel you've been working on for 3 years? Huh? Gotta, gotta compelling protaganist? Yeah? Gotta obstacle for him to overcome? Huh? Gotta story brewing there? Working on, working on that for quite some time? Huh? (voice getting higher pitched) Yea, talking about that 3 years ago. Been working on that the whole time? Nice little narrative? Beginning, middle, and end? Some friends become enemies, some enemies become friends? At the end your main character is richer from the experience? Yeah? Yeah? (voice returns to normal) No, no, you deserve some time off." "Peter (when he's hungover): This sucks worse than that time I went to that museum. (Flashback to childhood, standing in museum looking at dinosaur skeltons.) Peter (as a child): Why did all the dinosaurs die out? Man at Museum: Because you touch yourself at night." "Stewie (his voice getting progressively higher): Oh I know it hurts now Brian, but look at the bright side: you have some new material for that novel you've been writing. You know...the novel you've been workin' on? You know the the one, uh, you've been workin on for three years? You know the novel. Got somethin' new to write about now. You know? Maybe a, maybe a main character gets into a relationship and suffers a little heartbreak? Somethin' like what... what you've just been through? Draw from real life experience? Little, little heartbreak? You know? Work it into the story? Make the characters a little more three dimensional? Little, uh, richer experience for the reader? Make those second hundred pages really keep the reader guessing what's going to happen? Some twists and turns? A little epilogue? Everybody learns that the hero's journey isn't always a happy one? (Voice returns to normal.) Oh, I look forward to reading it. " "Brain: Ugh, I can't beileve you're serving a three year sentance, it seems so harsh. Lois: Well, the only upside is that it's given me time to think about why I ended up in here. I guess I was stealin' because I was so sick of the same old routine. I felt like I had a void in my life, like, like, there was a secret hole in me... Quagmire: Oh God! Lois:...and I was tryin' to fill that hole with all kinds of expensive objects, and things... Quagmire: Oh God!!! Lois: ...and I felt wonderful with all those things fillin' that hole. Quagmire: Oh God!!!!!! Lois: I did this to myself, so I'm just gonna have to lay back and let the penal system teach me a lesson. Quagmire: That one is also sexual. "
  17. Well, it's only 200k or so Xp you need, correct? Clean herbs with mousekeys. Potions are far too expensive currently, due to the double xp weekend. EDIT - Growing your own herbs and seconds isn't exactly 'efficient' in any way. It's better to kill Green Dragons or something and actually BUYING the herbs
  18. I don't flip anymore, but from my experiences; Barrows, worth roughly 1m-2m work best. They bought very near med, and sold near max, and were pretty safe. That was when they were rising 2.5% a day for a period, crashed a bit and rose back up again. Not sure if that is still possible today. There are a few methods of flipping. Flipping Basically buy a steady rising, unhoarded item for slightly above med price. 10-15k above med is good for items worth roughly 1m. Up to 30k for items worth 2m. This works for these items ONLY when they are rising; Archers' Ring Ahrim's Robetop Verac's Plateskirt Torag's Platelegs Dharok's Platelegs Torag's Platebody There are other items I'm sure, but I am most familiar with those. Reverse Flipping Pretty much the same thing, except your goal should be to buy as near to minimum as possible, but the item must be in some kind of demand. The above items used to work pretty well. The concept - You buy near min, it does take around 30 seconds to get one, and it has some form of demand and will sell slightly under med price. This is slightly more risky, depending on the item. But you're pretty safe if you do one offer at minimum to see if it buys instantly anyways. You can adjust your prices to suit your patience. I used to have low patience, and sacrificed a bit of profit. With 20m, you can earn roughly 5%-10% a day using either method. (You should be flipping at least twice a day with that kind of cashpile) You should also use the Swiftirc bot "GrandExchange" to track when the GE last updated. It usually updates within 23-30 hours, and it can't update for 10 hours if a GE update has just occured. This is useful to know because if you're reverse flipping, the GE price will change, which might lower your profits. You can also use this to your advantage in normal flipping, because if the item is on a steady rise (2% or so), then the GE price will increase with the update. You should also understand graphs. Just look at the thirty day graph, and track whether the percentages is going UP or DOWN. If Verac's Plateskirt was rising say, 2.5% today and 2.2% tomorrow, wait for it to drop. These are almost always sure signs that they are about to plummet. Also, you should sometimes be in World 2, watching what kind of SELL and BUY offers are being made for barrows items. You can usually spot a sharp fall if you see panic selling, but you should always trade them to make sure it's a legitimate claim, since World 2 is prone to Price Manipulation (acting desperate to sell or buy, not with a clan) Well, that's the basics of flipping. Also - you should note that Reverse flipping can sometimes be extra good, and rise on the day you bought the item for minimum. A bonus Hope this helps, I guess
  19. Well, College is back. And so is the annoying slow people who walk in huge crowds!
  20. I lol'd at that. Wonder what he wants with 12 year old male's facebooks...
  21. You're so big! That's what she said! (sorry, can't help it) OT: I think that looks kinda like the average Facebook post. Hmm
  22. What about the + sign with mousekeys? That's a double click. Exactly. The rules are far too vague, a Jmod really needs to make a detailed post about what exactly is fine, and what's not.

Heh, it's worse off in Britain. £1.17 for a litre is average.
