  1. Without a doubt cooking. There are definately faster skills, as people have mentioned, there are cheaper skills, and there are skills like woodcutting which require the barest of attention. But nothing quite beats its combination of high XP/HR, incredibly cheap price, and easy afkablilty.
  2. Skilling in general sucks for money now except for. Making unf pots/herb cleaning. Hunter to a certain extent (just hope you haven't got the [cabbage] end of the bot stick in puro puro). Herb Farming. The rest of the money is from monster hunting, flipping, and dailys nowadays. Which makes me sad. Skillings only upside now is being afkable. Which i guess is kinda good. It only requires maybe 20-30 mill to get started making a very respectable amount for the work involved, if you do 2, maybe 3 flips a day.
  3. Yea, and in real life you have the option of walking away. Doesn't make it any more or less insulting. Or laughing at the fact they are trying to insult you with words. Really, no different.
  4. Yeah me too. With so much dmg soaking possibilities, everything that mattered to elys and divines will all be forgotten. Meh, they will either be increased, or still be the best damage soaking shields by quite a long shot. Of course, they will still have the disadvantage of prayer drain, at least div will.
  5. I like, i like. If i gave two [cabbage]s about skillcapes like i used to, i would totally do that.
  6. This is irrelevant to the argument and hardly proves korasis as balanced or inbalanced. Seeing as prayer applies to every weapon. What doesnt apply to every weapon is defence, thats right, defence is useless against korasis, and this is inbalanced. At least for other weapons you can say, put d'hide on for mage defence, and pray melee to protect against KO's this protects you from 2 combat styles. Korasis doesn't have that option due to 100% accuracy and all you can do is pray mage all the time and hope he has korasis and not some other spec weapon, and even then its just as powerful as any other KO weapon when prayed against. It's the combination of a 100% accurate special and an extremely low replacement cost (considering the power of the weapon) that makes it unbalanced. It NEEDS to be at least as much as a whip to replace, preferably more since the spec is more lethal than an AGS spec. Id say its more lethal than an AGS spec, and yes, it needs to be freakin expensive. Its much more accurate, has only a slightly lower max hit, and a much shorter recovery time. The only advantage AGS has in the KO area is the fact you can spec twice in a row. But the fact it takes so long for the second hit to come around means your enemy could have easily food comboed and avoided it be then.
  7. When strangers are being douchebags its not hard to see how you can be mad, even if you don't personally know them. (I may be one of these douchebags but thats irrelevant here) I disagree. For example, I'm a 137 with near-maxed gear, and people flame me after every single game of FoG that I play. They call me a loser and no-lifer for using a steel titan, they call me a turmoil prod for using turm/soul split, they call me a rich RWT for using decent gear, etc. I beat top FOGers all the time and I always take my chat off private after games so I can see what they say in the lobby. I never said you were mad, just that there is a reason to be mad. If i run around calling every black person i see a... Well you get the idea, they obviously have a reason to be mad. I don't know them, they don't know me, and quite frankly we will probably never meet each other again outside that chance insulting confrontation. But they have every reason to be mad and i wouldn't fault them for it.
  8. Actaully the game revolves around combat, of which theres lots of competition. Also hunting, mining, woodcutting.

  11. No... Vid or anything? With comparison to neutral mage def o-course.
  12. Burden of proof. Your the one [cabbage]ting contrary to all past evidence, its your job to prove yourself right. Until then, i'm going by the logical assumption that korasis works like any other weapon, with no exclusive damage reduction. I'm going to have to agree with TheAncient, because your magical defence is based off your magic skill and not your Defence skill. Yea, i know fully well what magic defence is based off of, and i honestly don't see how this is relevant at all. I mean comon, did you even read my post or did you just spout evenm more unrelated BS? Anyway theres 2 things you need to take into account. 1. Defence doesn't soak damage. AT ALL (until new update of course). 2. Korasis is 100% accurate, so thus is uneffected by defence. Therefore, until tested otherwise, defence does not matter.
  13. Damage soaking seems to be gamechanging. I like i like.
  14. Just out of curiosity, has anyone tried the special foods (shark and potato), in PVP worlds?
  15. It may go to 120, but you don't need it. You only need enough to get all the chaotics you want/whatever.
  16. Wow, since when did all high levels suddenly become elitists? Logic plz.
  17. Should have at least taken up high risk pking before he decided to quit.
  18. I don't have access to even close to max mage defence yet, so i can't test it even if i wanted to. Plus, none of my friends have korasis sword. Burden of proof. Your the one [cabbage]ting contrary to all past evidence, its your job to prove yourself right. Until then, i'm going by the logical assumption that korasis works like any other weapon, with no exclusive damage reduction.
  19. You don't think 25 minutes is fast enough?
  20. no, it was in single person 1v1. i've survived more; after tanking the spec the key is to use summ pots, blood barrage, etc. and lol... like i said, no rigorous statistics are needed. if you don't want to trust my personal experience, then test it yourself, because i'm like 99% certain. there's also NO way to literally "Prove" it other than to find out the damage formula itself; nothing from our side can be proved with 100% certainty. but that's really just semantics. So instead of trying to prove it or at least strengthen your argument in a 1v1 with lcool, you still spout more BS instead? Its quite simple really, find out lcools max hit, then you can use your d'hide/max mage def and see if it reduces damage at all. If the average hit is significantly below 100% of the max hit (which is average damage for korasis spec), then evidence will suggest that your right. If the average hit hovers around the 100% mark, then your wrong.
  21. Your insane, the only armor with damage reduction is dung shields, elysians, and divines. The rest only reduce the chance of hit, unless jagex made an exception for korasis sword and only korasis (which is very unlikely). In other words, unless you have actual evidence that mage defence has a damage reduction that exclusively applies to korasi sword specs, get your head out of your ass.
  22. I'm a poor cheap bastard so i do willows and oranges.
  23. If it has 100% chance of hitting, then armour doesn't change the hits at all, unless otherwise stated As far as I'm aware, its accuracy depends on your opponent's magic defense. So it's not 100% accurate per se, it's just 100% accurate against most opponents (most people are expecting melee damage in a melee-based fight). Its 50% - 150% of max hit, it always hits. And, as long as an attack hits, defence bonuses won't effect how high it hits, it has an equal chance of hitting anything within its range. In other words, d'hide shouldn't help AT ALL, unless jagex made an exception for the korasis sword that is. As far as im concerned, it needs to be able to miss just like any other weapon. As it is now, its overpowered simply for the fact that defence bonuses simply don't apply, be it mage or melee defence.
  24. I've always thought each combat style had its niche. What i will say is that in a dangerous PVP situation, range and mage is generally more combat level efficient than melee is, with the sole exception of KO power. This is why range tanks are so powerful, because they have maxed ranged/mage at a comparitively low level compared to there meleer friends.
