  1. Its suddenly mature to want high level grind content and complain about all the low level content. But immature to argue the opposite? At least low level content gets accessed by everyone. Not the select few who bend over and grind for hundreds of hours. Maybe im alone in this feeling, but ive always wondered if the game would be better if level 99 required maybe 3-6 million XP (or less), instead of 13 million. The length of time it takes for some of the higher leveled skills, especially the tedious ones like RC, has always seemed a bit excessive.
  2. This. Without Highscores, RS would be boring. Ya see, its revolutionary, but some people ENJOY competing. Highscores don't improve my gameplay experience in any way. And unless your in the top 100 or so in a skill or overall, no one else really cares where you are on the high scores either.
  3. Party hats have no inherent gameplay value. Spirit Shields actually have a use. I would absolutely swap a phat for a divine, as amassing pointless wealth is, frankly, boring, and when that's all that's left to do in a game, I usually just quit playing. Id keep the party hat for the novelty and ever increasing wealth, and then play the game as normal as i usually do. As far as im concerned i can live without a divine, and i can live without a partyhat, but what can i say, i like/would like the attention more than i would a better shield, plus its increasing value means i can always trade it for a divine if i ever feel the compulsion, but not the other way around.
  4. I wouldn't its a freakin party hat.
  5. More farming? Wewt.
  6. Oh, i wondered where you'd run off to. Don't we all? I do try.
  7. I used to play knight online, and they had similar xmas events where the trees would sometimes drop EPIC items, like, the highest tier items in the game. IMO its was really unfair. Though i did manage to get 3-4 raptors (like, godsword/whip equavalent), these events should not be about the items you get.
  8. You cannot get a phat at green drags.
  9. Heellll yea. Its frikin expensive.
  10. Because dung XP is useless after 85 unless your in it for the e-peen. Everything after that has tokens as the primary objective. And thus you measure the efficiency of gaining tokens in comparison to gaining money.
  11. Yea only super prayers and super antis work. Super prayers would probably actually be worth using if your a high risk PKer.
  12. Well, most games are aimed towards the 12-16 year old players, and I think even Runescape is too. And I can even see some adults falling for it. A lot of games have adult players in mind, runescape being the exception is aimed for 12 year olds, which a lot of us started when we were 12-13 and stuck around til were adult players Runescape is not aimed for 12-year-olds. In real life I knew of some kids as young as 8 years old playing. Usually they would see their older siblings playing and would join as well. At that age they aren't ashamed of RS and tend to recruit their friends to play as well. It shocked me at first when I saw this little kid controlling a char that was fighting in t'zahar especially because he had decent gear. I did find it funny that their dad called the game "run" "escape". I do think RS does crossover to a few different age groups though because if you just want to chat there is that feature or if you just want to skill or just fight. Well, when i was 9 or 10 i was recruited into RS by one of my friends as well, its been a recurring thing since then (and even before) lol.
  13. Nope, it just ensures that they'll look over the reset, and from there ban if necessary. Jagex already has knowledge of there own system, asking for people to post of the forums and THEN banning them, would be both redundant and idiotic when they can just ban them normally.

"2. Abby whip is tradable, so if your luck sucks, you can always buy the whip off someone, you can't really "buy" a shadow silk hood." Also d'scim is an alternative, as is defensively chinning defence. Its not a great alternative either way. But you can get relatively close to max XP rates. Theres no real alternative to shadow silk hood though.
  15. I just wear d'hide and run around the rocks. Wins most games.
  16. I'm not sure why scimitars, daggers, whips and the like are "medium". I always though of them as "fast". From what I saw, this is what the speed classes are: Speed 6 (daggers, scimitars, whip...): Medium Speed 5 (longswords, basic spears...): Slow Speed 4 (battleaxes, godswords....): Very slow Speed 3 (basic twohanders, granite maul...): Extremely slow I haven't seen what speed 7 (darts and knives) or speed 1 (dark bow) are called yet. 7, (rapid sbows) 1.8 second per attack. 8, (rapid knives) 1.2 second per attack
  17. The only reason rangers/magers are a minority is because they are underpowered. That needs to be fixed.
  18. This. Cstaff is incredibly deadly.
  19. Wow, ive been flipping for a while myself, but i never thought to use another account as a test subject. Of course this wont work for what i normally merchant but it might be fun to try some raw materials. Works out perfectly for me because i have 3 accounts all with considerable cash in them, gonna try this out.
  20. Actually it is a case of range (mostly mage) being underpowered.Melee is self sufficient, i can both KO and do damage with melee, ranged has no KO, and mage does nor good damage nor has a KO. I wasn't talking about mage, but even so, when the OP uses range against melee and expects to win, he's just being arrogant. Mage works plenty well in FOG, 75% of the people just run around in rune, ready to be flattened by fire blast. I'm actually refering to F2p pking in general, not Fog. Also every good F2p foger at least HAS d'hide.
  21. Not if they have some sort of system automatically reset the stats. If they had that system, they could just as easily make it automatically ban. That's true, but being that it's a system, there's always a possibility for error. Ugh, yea... And making them post of the forums somehow reduces this possibility for error?

  23. Um... If jagex reset there stats, wouldn't they already know who they are?

  25. There all so maxed combat
