Smithing or Herblore?
What's the point for those levels? 73 smithing is easy and cheap enough to get.... (try spending 10M a level from 93 ;) ) And herblore can be gained from WGS. Sooooooo..... Go get smithing. Then go and do WGS, throw the 400K exp into herb (assuming you're at 65) and you'll get 70.

SGS vs DFS vs Claws
There's better things to get before bandos, but it's not a piece of crap  For slayer it unfortunately is. For FFA and solo bandos the tassets play a role from what I've seen. Why do people insist on paying ~18M more for a chest that (yes is aestheticly pleasing) gives worse defence bonus's than barrows armour, and the same strength bonus as something you can get with a couple of hours effort at BA? And also Verac's pretty much outclasses the tassets in every situation during slayer if you piety or turmoil. Bandos is like the fire cape or a Godsword... It's becoming increasingly obselete. As for the topic personally I'd do it in this order - Claws 85+ Herb 92~95 Prayer 88 Summoning Rapier Money after that invests into herb to get it to overloads. Once you hit that THEN and only then buy back bandos if you really want it.

Whilst Guthix Sleeps
Well both really. Straight after the quest I was gona quickly spend a day getting the last 100K to 89 slayer, then camp TD's for a while until I go back to uni. Awesome, so that sounds good for me then! :P Can't wait! Guess the balance ele is the tricky part? Well unless you think fighting with 255 stats is hard... (it really is awesome). Isn't that the 2 TD's at the end? ;) The balance ele is the one I need to prayer switch etc and can hit very hard etc just before I enter the guthixian temple to find lucian?

Whilst Guthix Sleeps
Okies, so Ima be doing this quest tomorrow once I pump 3.5M into herby, do 30 mins of alching and do 5 mins of thieving..... What hints and tips are there for doing this quest? Obviously I will be spending day(s) doing it as I want to take it all in. But anything in particular? Also..... afterwards, I'd like to do duo (eventually solo) TD's. I'm just wondering, with my stats, what equipment I should use for them? Kinda been thinking that I've seen people using ponys but the main tip.it site doesn't have a set up for them. Any and all hints, tips, tricks, set ups (with good armour and welfare) etc are needed and appreciated. As for info - levels are in the siggy, I have ~20M cash pile once I sell slayer tab, but would love to try and keep it that way as it funds cannoning.

To cannon or not to cannon?
Single combat in tav dungeon and CT doesn't allow cannon. Ah of course, familiars don't work in single combat. I'm confusing that with the cannon (which hits multiple targets in single-combat if you safespot). Reminds me, we should have single, summoning and multicombat areas... (I think). Eh I guess it's just common practice after a while. When you go into Kura's cave/most places use a healing familiar, when you go single combat cannon and healing/BoB, when you go multicombat cannon and healing/BoB. Kinda just get used to knowing what to do when slaying. :)

To cannon or not to cannon?
I personally prefer to cannon, it is indeed faster than a geyser, or even a steel titan at that. too bad you cant use both right? Aye too bad. Ah well.... Cannon it is! :D Guess it's better ranged exp too?
-
To cannon or not to cannon?
Black demons..... Not too sure... I mean.... I've got a geyser titan which'll net me a nice amount of raged exp.... So either way I wont be at too much of a loss of ranging exp. But I'm just not sure on cannoning them.... is it quicker than geyser?

Cannon
Walliskies (sp?) in the Waterbirth Dungeon. You should break even/profit.

Smithing 99
I think Iron knives would be your bet for profit then. Maybe blast furnace ores into bars - eg runite. Other than that smithing really isn't the skill to be looking for a profit in..... I'm currently doing it the expensive way by plating which I would highly advise due to the amount of exp to get from 92+ And when you hit 91+ do try and find people on W117 for effigys. Helps a tonne.

DFS vs Claws for slaying
I didn't think it was too efficient or quick. I *think* I pick up just less than if I cannoned them. I generally get 35-40K ranged exp from geyser in CT. However if I get more and it's quicker to cannon them I'd do it. And oooooh, didn't think about that.

DFS vs Claws for slaying
Well then landslide on the voting poll with 8 to 38 votes.... And everyone does have good points. To those of you who say I might need better gear this is what I have: Gear to wear slaying: FSH Fury Torag Chest/Karils leathertop/Prosy top Verac Skirt/Karils skirt/Prosy legs D boots Barrow Gloves RoL/Fero Ring Whip/SS/ZS Rune Defender/DFS (which will change to Rune defender/Elemental Shield/Antifire shield or whatever it is) Fire cape/Ardy 2/Skill cape General stuff for tasks: I stock up on pots whenever I run out, generally buying 100 of sup attack, sup strength, prayer, and 50 of sup defence (unless I don't use them in which case just the att, str and pray) I generally ALWAYS have a stock of 3K cannonballs for tasks. I have yips, unicorns, war torts and unicorn scrolls in abundance. General Info: I cannon EVERY task I can, from firegiants to LRC, anything that can be cannoned I generally do so. However 2 exceptions - Kalphites are on block list, Black demons I piety, and Mutated velds I haven't unlocked. I piety all other tasks, especially those in Kura's dungeon (apart from spirit mages, greaters, warped torts). So yeah, my next port of call really needs to be extremes after 99 smithing then onto prayer.

DFS vs Claws for slaying
Just a double post to bump this as I'd like more ideas on it..... It does seem though that neither option has a run away majority what with there only being 5 votes between it from 15 people. So I'm still undecided :S

DFS vs Claws for slaying
Yeah the major things I kinda really wana do is hit 90 strength by the end of this month, hit between 90 and 92 slayer during october as I'll have to wind down the due to uni. But my major goal for the next year or so will be 99ish slayer.

DFS vs Claws for slaying
Basically a friend of mine has been lending me his claws for a while and I've fallen in love with them. Now I'm wondering if perhaps I should trade in my DFS which I love (and only paid 17M for last year ftw) for a pair of these shiny bloodened metal wolverine claws. I would love it if you TIFFERS could outline the pro's and cons of having DFS and claws :3 If you say get claws can I please have an explination as to why? Or if you have other points to make my slaying more effective then please do share! :D

Fool.
Don't bother reading this. It'll only waste your time if you're going to troll. I am always such a stupid fool. Stupid stupid stupid fool. I got too reattached when I shouldn't. I knew it'd end with me like this. Yet another freaking inconsolable heap of a mess. Such a pathetic excuse for a person. And quite why I am writing this on a forum I don't know.... Maybe it's from previosu times on here where you guys supported me, or maybe it's from playing tribal wars and seeing what communities are like and how supportive. I don't know. But what I do know is that I need to get the hell out of my head. Needed it ever since April. Ever since everything. I need a new start, I need to just cut myself open and get rid of all this poison that's left coarsing through my veins. How one person can ever cause such misery I don't know. But yeah, I'll probably ramble a little bit longer. This has so far taken 10 mins to write as I'm writing what pops into my head. Maybe I'll go back under the radar, maybe I'll keep to PM's here, maybe I'll keep posting in the vain hope of forgetting. Memories eh? Who needs them when they only burn? I played with fire too much. Sorry for wasting like half your life tip.it. Hope you understand what a soppy, foolish, forgiving, trusting [bleep] I am.

Becoming a Pro Slayer.
I use turmoil on everything, cannon or not (and I use a cannon as much as possible). Ah yeah, forgot about turmoil. But the poster can't do turmoil. He's only 75 pray.

Leveling Several Skills
I'll only say about the smithing because I'm going for 99 and know a little about what to do :3 You have several options: Smelt gold at edge Blast furnace Smith addy tips/bolts using sc tools till you hit 88, then plate. I did the plating, you'll lose about 3M (I think that's how much I lost) between 88 and 90 but the speed is worth it. Happy smithing!

Becoming a Pro Slayer.
Think many of the things have been covered here. Cannon every task you can, what you can't cannon, piety (cept spirit mages or warped torts where sup set and maybe superhuman strength if you feel like praying). Don't forget about extreme potions and such.....

95 att, Armored Zombies or Slayer?
Think Nifflin covered it there. AZ's are good money and charms.... Slayer gets you random exp rates. It's up to you really...... Personally I did AZ's as part of my 99 defence last year and regret it a little bit (they did allow me to make 17M and snipe a DFS when it crashed) but I lost out on slayer levels that I'm now trying to claw back. I'll see you on the trail i guess! ;) My LOOOOOOOOOOONG term goals are maxed melee's by slayer by this time next year :P
