SS is faster than Whip at Gargoyles in Kuradal's Dungeon. But otherwise yeah. SS doesn't really make a difference. MHL is 95/94/95 or something methinks and when I was potted and pietying and she was just potted I was outstripping her 3/4 kills to everyone one she could do roughly. Whip + Defender + piety + potting = ownage. It could perhaps be a little like SS and ZS at WFs? not too much of a difference but there is a tiny one? I'll probably try it next garg task.

Sell the BGS :blink: Definitely sell the BGS if it's broken you. Based on everything not just the 4 questions 1) Void is worth it if you need it. TD's it'll come in useful if you have mastered the prayer switching. Until then I believe the opinion is go with D hide. 2) Slayer, slayer and more slayer. Piety everything :) Make your slayer much quicker...... Well, the difference is noticeable. But slayer, if you slay then slay. Don't be foolish and miss the exp like I did with AZ's. 3) Cannon slayer tasks. Or then again you could go cannon Walliskies. There's your range exp and some profit and ALOT of blues and crims. 4) Go with slayer for money making and squelch herb trips in there too. They're worth it. 5) A weekly WF trip thanks to familiarisation wont hurt so whack that in there :) but as echoed by the above poster, really sell the BGS. That money can be put to such better use ;_; why waste it? So ok, if you Bandos alot then maybe yeah, but some bosses like that is the only need for it which is why it's the cheapest most unused GS out there...... Also the fact that Whip and Rune Defender outstrips it. Especially if you pot and piety.

To the Topic Poster: As I said before - Go with the SGS Oh and V Skirt stood for verac skirt. It has both better defence and prayer bonus than tassets and only costs 1.8M instead of 24 or so M :) Therefore save the money, go with the things that give you better defence and don't cost as much, and go with the SGS.

Well I am really serious about slayer. In the short term I want to get 90 slayer. In the long I want 99. However I don't have the Ex pots or Turmoil yet but I do pot, piety and cannon every task. So I might just go and buy the claws.

Bandos really is a waste of money though tbf. You are paying 20M more just for the strength bonus a Berserker ring gives you....... Logic please? Also another thing is that the defence of Barrows armour is actually better than that of bandos? Ok, so lets get this straight right now...... You want him to keep armour that costs - 24m a piece, that gives the same strength bonus as a berserker ring that's not imbued and has worse defence than barrows armour, instead of a Godsword that heals lp and prayer points allowing him to survive longer on tasks? I think someone has been a high level that can afford everything for too long :shame: With his stats he doesn't NEED bandos. Actually no one should need bandos. SGS is remarkably good spec weapon for slayer though. It heals and restores prayer. Some people actually live on the SGS with a combat familiar and things like that and no food. So you can't tell me that SGS is useless. But surprise surprise you're another maxed combat person who thinks they know best because they're a higher level. You no longer have a clue about someone at 80 melees and what they might need. to the poster: a good setup (Considering if you piety every task) would be V skirt and Prosy plate along with weapon, gloves, helm, ammy, cape, and boots of choice really. Oh and if you really want the strength bonus you'll miss from the Bandos then get yourself a Berserker (i). Only costs ~40M less than tassets and BCP and has the same strength. EDIT: Actually, it has +2 more strength bonus that Tassets, so therefore you're paying ~40m less for a ring that outstrips BCP and Tassets. IMHO SGS would be worth it for you.

Suicide Silence - No Time to Bleed Albums is amazing, but for those out there like me listen to the title track and look out at the end for the "No time to bleed, as you fall to your knees" vocals. Those are some of the lowest most brutal things I have ever heard. ;) try it.

Yes. SGS will be much worth while for your slaying than Bandos ever could be. It means that you can reduce the cost of food, bunyips/unicorns and that of prayer pots. If you get an SGS I'd advise pietying all slayer tasks. Bandos doesn't really have any uses in game cept for increasing your max hit at an extremely high cost of gp.

play an rpg then, not an mmorpg. Um,no? I like interacting with people. I don't mind competing with people. I like to achieve things with other people trying to do the same. I like that I'm not forced into group activities like you are in WoW. I'm just very, very over hearing about clans when I don't think that many people are even in them. The community opinion seems to be if you don't agree with the community opinion you need to quit our game. Clans actually play no part in runescape. RS Could easily survive without them. The only times you need to have participation with other people is when you're FORCED to. EG Heroes quest, Shield of Arrav etc. You HAVE to use people. But anyways, clans are not needed in RS. Sure things they can be helpful. Finding a PC clan, or the SC clan or whatever will help you alot doing some things, however it's not needed is it? Clans are therefore not an integral part of RS. Just like they're not in some other places like Halo 3 online. You don't need a clan, but my girlfriends brother and I are making one. Therefore they have no real purpose in a game. Updates should be made for all players not just for clans. Why not? I find that games that provide some form of team/club/guild/clan formation tend to keep their players longer. You have the sense of belonging to the group, the tendency to log in for some group event, or just to chat with fellow members, and provide/ask for advice/help. The article isn't suggesting teamwork gameplay, just more in-game clan support. An actual location in game to provide a clan base (much like your POH), and proper registration of a clan and its members, a page on the RuneScape to list down registered clans etc..... The supposed 'clan chat' seems more like a group chat function to me, not an actual clan system, even though there's ranking system. Ugh, "belonging to the group?" That thought alone makes me feel queasy. Why do you need in game clan support when say they have websites? And they can all meet in a POH. What's the point in another room but this time for clans? There isn't. They already is a dining hall which could be seen as a meeting hall for clan people, there is so much you can do in a POH that people in clans don't know or understand how to utilise it properly. The article is suggesting updates like that which is a pointless idea. I mean c'mon, based on the suggestions he's got what will be the point in skill and quest halls? There wont be one. Or what will be the point in the clan room? Apart from squishing 2 rooms into 1. And Clans make themselves known and don't need to be registered really. They all have websites where they can organise events. They have an "Epic sized" world to roam around and meet up in. Tip.it is technically a clan system based on what you said about belonging to a group. Yet people here believe that there's not enough done for the single player. RS is a single player game. You come into the game on your own, you level on your own, you do almost everything on your own. So please try and justify apart from the reasons of things like SC BA and PC there are clans? They are only created because people want to do it. So let them do it by themselves and let Jagex keep rolling out updates for the single player. And yes clan chat is more a group chat system. I hardly feel part of "the tip.it clan" or "lady h's army" or whatever, I'm just a guy who goes in to chat every so often.

Pokemon and RuneScape are different. Pokemon is something that kids grew up with. I didn't grow up with it. I don't like it. I think it's dumb. I didn't grow up with RuneScape, either. I like it. I think it's cool. Calling it more successful is objective. Did it make more money? Certainly. Was it designed to make more money? Yep. RuneScape could "sell out" and it seems like it gets a little closer to that every day. Anyway, this isn't a Pokemon site. I didn't come here for that. So, yeah, change it for April Fool's Day and that's fine. Some people like it. I think most people were just tired of the joke by the next day (myself included) and didn't care to see it any longer. I don't hate Pokemon. I just think it's stupid and wouldn't play or watch it. That's my opinion and certainly, millions of people disagree with me. Maybe next year they could change the site to something Star Wars themed. Then I'd like it and other people might hate it. Then they'd be posting "can you change the site back to Rune Tips instead of Star Wars Tips now that it's April 2nd please?" What on earth happened to your childhood? :( This makes me sad.
