Yes. Unless you got the Anti-dragon shield/DFS and an Anti-Fire potion, they always hit you. i think he is talking about the actual attack and not damage

You don't get the drop, but does it count as a kill for achievement diaries and quests? I'm assuming that you would not be able to use recoils for achievement diaries because of a similar restriction as the slayer one...but with quests, a cut scene or something usually happens after the boss dies, so you could probably use them for quest bosses. I've never personally tried, though. k ty and dont quest bosses give reduced exp so i could use like a poison iron dagger to do one damage?
