Hm. Well I got hacked, so I guess that no big upgrades is good for me, so that I can rebuild my bank easily. The idiot went from 300 items to 40.. :pray: Still, it's their game, so. If you don't like it you can leave (like I did.. several times).

Actually, I came back from my first longest break right after that. Seems like every time I leave something important happens. I stopped playing right before June (this year) and I'm definitely thinking of starting again today. Apparently the entire high-level fanbase is infected with Old Man Syndrome- They feel that everybody should have to suffer as much as they do. It's sad and funny to read at the same time. Goddammit, I hate searching through pages on these forums.

So, I left RS for a few months- not because of something Jagex did, but just because I wanted to move up to bigger and more expensive games, but I come back and see that apparently, now everyone hates Jagex- Or just has a brooding resentment. What happened? Can someone explain to me the series of events that started, say, beginning of last July to now that turned Jagex into a misguided parental figure into Satan? Me? Until I can become a member again, I'm just mining Rune Essence, pure and simple, and it works out for me.

Godswords were never in pvp drops! :wall: I've seen 1 BGS on vid. They were there, but really really rare I guess. Or it was smited. The fact that the symbols go over any equipment.....great, give players a good reason to pj now :roll: Oh. Sorry, I didn't know that.. what does it mean by 'Protection of Godswords'? I'ma go check BH out now. This doesn't really affect me, since I can never kill anyone risking. Teleports are just going to add to that problem.

I'm glad godswords are out of pvp drops.. The PvP dropping of special items really killed prices. As for the teleport, yeah, it sucks. Stupid idea IMO.

Get my combat to 100+ Get a 99 (or at least a 90) skill. Have more then 2m at one time And other stuff I'll never do. ;D

Well, if you're rich, then no. But, amazingly, not all of us are.. I did it at 76 and it's worth it, because I need the money.

My IQ is somewhere around 140. 143 I think. Haven't gotten it checked in a while. Would that affect the average? Number 1: You suck for using the Retribution trick. Right. I started playing this game when I was 10 (in 2005) and I found it from Miniclip, but I don't see myself as immature. I agree. I was, what, 8? 9? when I started playing (I found it from my brother). My spelling might have killed a few angels, but besides that I'd say I wasn't immature. I don't remember getting scammed, but a few times I got tricked. I was angry when this happens. You people say it would be better if there were people misusing the game and 'teaching nubs a lesson'? Applying your philosophy, we should let criminals run the streets to teach people 'smarts'. Stop whining about the lack of nubs to trick. Go play some stealing creation. Or maybe do GWD. :)

I love how people are whining about whiners. It tickles my funny bone. Runescape isn't dumbed down(Or however you want to spell it). If it was, everyone WOULD have all 99's, be level 137, be 5"9 and is blond with blue eyes. Runescape has always been this easy. Runescape is a game of lots of patience. The recent updates have actually improved the game, making it harder in some aspects. And yes, I played RSC and early RS2. IMO it gets better every day. Jagex is not just 'in it for the money', they have the best customer support system ever. They are completely meshed in with the player community- Instead of saying 'This is our game and you can't do [cabbage] about it' they comply and fix stuff. RS was supposed to be free, but with the dot com boost server rates flew through the roof. So they created membership. Be happy it's only $5(well now $6)US. Sometimes you have to adapt to change. People will always find something to whine about, because their whining is what keeps them in the spotlight. POINT OF RANT: If Runescape WAS too easy, you wouldn't be complaining. You'd be happy with all your 99's. Since you're apparently not, then this is just a pointless rant for attention/fustration at training and noobs. Noobs get everyone down. Goddamn noobs.

Imagine all the magers that would pop up. As someone pointed out a ranger can't even hit a farcasting mage in F2P. Melee should have somewhat of a chance though. And it's not about armor- if someone was wearing full d'hide and such, but using a melee weapon, or even a maple bow, they'd still be oblitered. Overkill much?

This would COMPLETELY obliterate melee. -melee runs foward, is teleported away- -melee is stuck- -melee is hit with several spells- -melee starts getting closer- -melee is pushed away- -melee is stuck- -melee is hit, dead.- Repeat. I'm not even counting all the teleports and such. Heck, I think Rangers only have half a chance of standing up to this, only since they can hit from a distance. And the spell that Dims your screen is redundant and annoying.. all they would need to do is right-click you. I like the idea of a new spellbook. But not this one. Add more time limits, maybe more failure rates. Sometimes people have to have a chance.

Does anyone else see a pattern here? Lucien finds the Stone, steals it, and hides it.. the Dragonkin are awakened and start to plan for the stone. Guthix is sleeping while Saradomin and Zamorak are forbidden from interacting with Gielinor. However all the gods are gaining power. Dragon weapons are possibly giving the Dragonkin power as we kill with them. All the cryptic hints that Kin are coming back. The Kin try and steal the Stone from Lucien. Lucien enslaves the Kin and uses them to start his war against, well, everyone. The gods launch a war using all the resources they have at hand. The war rages across Runescape, Dragonkin killing, monsters ravaging towns, an epic war.. Guthix wakes up and total destruction unfolds. No not really, I know crap about Runescape lore. But that would be an awesome quest/world event. Oh and just to be an [wagon] Jaz is Guthix.

For.. 1 BILLION DOLLARS (Evil laugh) No really, I once DID sell it for a 5$ ticket to a crummy middle school dance. But now that I've seen some things, grown up a bit, and done some thinking, I reckon it's around 25$ to me, because I could always get it back.

The F2P spell book does need to be balanced, but this is still not the answer. The entire point of this spellbook is to put magic ABOVE other classes, not equal to. Suggest F2P counter-points for melee and range and I'll support.

I AM average Joe. Hear me cry. I like quests a lot better, though. I've played for a lot longer. Only this last December did I actually get good at the game. I had gotten to level 66 in 4 years of playing and in a month I got to level 86 with all my skills 50+. Now I've kinda mellowed out on my RS drive and am chilling around, PKing, doing nothing. I feel a lot like Joe everyday, and it makes me sad.

Honestly? You all must be buying crazy crap because I never ever have this problem. There's a simple solution: Wait a day. Or hell, buy it at +2 gp. It doesn't matter. If you're looking at armour, just wait a day. It's not hard. It's not price manipulation, it's taking advantage of one soft spot in the GE walls. Be patient young one.

Me... Myself.. and I. Another useless fact: Cape sellers in the wildy used to roam, but now they're fixed. Also, the majority of fairy ring codes are useless.
