  1. I got Indy by 6 days & my account is about as old as they come. Not including Scapeboard of course. That's just because there was a few weeks (I think) there between these forums and Scapeboard where there was nothing, and I didn't realize these forums were up until about a week after everyone else. So most Scapeboarders have around 6-7 days on me, on these forums. Can't remember exactly when I joined on Scapeboard, so it could already be a decade for me. Yeah, I remember just checking one random day and boom, it was back online. I was probably using Scapeboard for not much longer then 6 months before they went offline. I couldn't even tell you what my username was..

21 or under I guess. I also wonder if it's partly a religious thing, because thinking of it I have heard my flatmate from last year's friends from church getting married. I'd say a number of the people I know who've got married are religious. Military folks marry young too, some are couples that end up having babies together so they feel they have to tie the knot. Small town high school sweethearts.. The ones that get me are the couples that get married after only dating for a very short amount of time, like less then 3 months. I'm also starting to see splits/ divorces now too, it's a bit funny.

I saw the same thing happen to people I knew. It was strange at first, because like you said, you get a feeling like you've been left behind, but after a while you come to terms with it. You got to remember too, we're all still so very young and still have a long lives ahead of us. There is no need to rush life.
  5. Looks like we have near identical glasses.. Never heard of her before, but I'd say she's pretty cute.
  6. Hawks never surprise me, they have always had such a talented team but they hardly ever play up to their true potential.
  7. You know a person is a real Knicks fan if they have a Fields jersey. NY fans absolute love that guy, and for good reason too, he a solid basketball player and makes good plays when they need him too. I really wanted to watch last night's game but they had on the Bulls-Nuggets game instead. Miami's been on an awful slump and the Clippers haven't been playing great either, all my teams have been disappointing after the all star break. -.-
  8. I usually workout in the afternoon, and like Jimmy said, a good meal afterwards gets me back to normal.

I guess I'm driving up to San Francisco next weekend for the Sleigh Bells concert. Should be fun, full of drinking and shenanigans.
  10. Heres a little 22min featurette recapping the first season while also giving a little sneak peak into the new season,
  11. Just wanted to bump this as the second season is set to start next week.
  12. I'm pretty amazed already by the writing, already.
  13. I just started watching season 1 last week. If all goes well, I should be caught up in about 3-4 more weeks.
  14. In my eyes smith machines are only to help improve someones form when doing squats, other then that they don't really have much of a purpose, and from what I've heard they aren't that great on your body. Went bouldering at an indoor rock gym today. It was pretty fun except my hands were super tense and dry afterwards. Going to be upping my weights this week, haven't done so for a few months, so it's going to be interesting seeing how my body handles it by the end of the week.

I like to think you were known, but that sounds awesome! It's always inspiring to hear people pursuing their passions.
  16. My top 10 overall is Death Cab for Cutie's album, Narrow Stairs. Last 12 months is Kid Cudi - No One believes me, Drake's - Club Paradise, and the rest of my top ten is Bon Iver's album, For Emma, Forever Ago. Since the beginning of the year my top ten has been Schoolboy Q's album, Habits & Contradictions. I image that changing soon with some of the new records that been released/ will be. http://www.last.fm/user/Stevepole
  17. When I was trying to pick up illustrator I used http://vectips.com/ & http://vector.tutsplus.com/ I thought they were pretty useful.
  18. I just read this, 25 season 2 memes, http://geektyrant.com/news/2012/3/22/25-funny-walking-dead-season-2-memes.html

Wow, if I were those kids, I probably wouldn't mention those things out load. That's embarrassing.

Read some Hemingway. I second that. If you're looking for something more modern, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo is good.
  22. I'm been rather interested in crossfit recently, is it better done in a group setting like at speciality cross fit gyms or can it be done individually at just a regular gym. I ask because I only hear of it being done at special cross fit gyms but it seems like most the exercises can be done anywhere.
  23. Picked up the new Shins album yesterday, along with Daniel Rossen's (of Grizzly Bears) EP, & the Odd Future tape. I'd recommend all three.
  24. It is possible, I sometimes go months without running and can easily pick it back up in a matter of a week or two, but I visit the gym and cycle regularly. I still stand by the 3 month plan I wrote out for someone that is basically starting off from nothing. The worst thing to do when getting into running is pushing yourself to hard that you end up injuring yourself and are forced to stop.
  25. I think the reveal worked out better for long-time fans of the comic, who knew what was coming when they saw it. [spoiler=Prediction for next season, not based on anything.]The group will be attacked but taken into the prison by the group occupying it. There, the Governor (I assume) will rule their lives with an iron fist, and by the end of the next season Rick will want to do things differently because of it. I could probably make a better prediction if I actually read the comic first. I would agree, I think for fans that know the comic, it works, because we know the basic outline of where the story is headed. What I can praise about the finale is that they didn't go overboard and already jump into next season's story more then they absolutely had too. They only gave the bare minimum allowing somewhat of a fresh start when they begin the new season. In a way they kind of pulled a LOST.
