Now that I live in LA, I feel I have to take my longboard over to Venice beach and skate..
  3. I thought it was boring too. I wanted to like it, but it was just so boring. I honestly almost feel asleep in the theater ha. I also saw Drive Saturday, it was really good. It was a refreshingly different movie then what you would have expected for what came off as a major studio film from it's marketing but is rather an independent which caught me by surprise.
  4. Awesome man! Presuming that it works fine you've got a great camera. First thing i'd do is replace the battery and clean out the battery terminals with a bit of metho, they'll probably be rusty and if the battery is nearly flat or the connection is loose/full of rust it'll stuff up the metering and the shutter may get stuck open for longer than it's meant to, resulting in a lot of overexposed images. The light seals around the film door may be all corroded too, you can get them replaced at a camera store for about $20, or you can do it yourself. It may not be an issue though, you won't know until you put a roll of film through it. I wouldn't put too much stock in the pictures on the first roll either, best to bust one out and get it developed to see how the camera is performing. Any idea what lenses they are exactly? The big one is a sigma zoom-beta 2 (60-200mm), I was able to read that off the picture. The second lens has a Star-D lens cap, no other details can be made out by the angle of the photo. The third lens I presume is Pentax 50mm f1.7 but it also has a Pentax lens cap on so I don't know for sure. Any tips on film development?

I personally really enjoy the powerlines and the zorb picture.
  6. I've begun bidding on a Pentax ME Super on Ebay. Comes with a 50mm 1.7 lens and flash. I've got about 22hrs to go until I learn if the camera is mine or not ha. So wish me luck guys! My older brother actually offered to let me barrow his Canon EOS the other week when I was visiting family up in Washington but unfortunately I didn't have time to swing by his house and grab it before I flew back down to California. edit: I ended up winning a different camera. Still a Pentax ME Super but with three lens and a flash. They look like two primes and probably something like a 200mm lens.
  7. If you don't mind me asking, what is your setup?
  8. If you don't mind me asking, who did you vote for in the last presidential election magekillr? I only ask out of curiosity.
  9. Maybe you got unlucky. Usually when I pass Draynor or Edge bank I pass someone. I have been doing quests the last weeks and you encounter more people than you would initially think with the player numbers. (+ when you see someone they usually shout 'hi' from afar, are not botting and are very friendly.) Maybe so. Anyway, I logged onto Classic briefly and I noticed something. On Classic, we get 30 inventory spaces, whereas now we only get 28. Jagex jipped us! :o You'd think so, but if you noticed there is no armor tab. You equip your armor/weapons/etc in your inventory taking up your inventory space. It balances out and in most situations you're gained spaces in RS2. ;-)
  10. Since so few players play these days, only expect to find rune in there respected shops so around 150k for a set. Money wise, you best bet is smithing then selling to shops as running into another player is pretty slim and the chances of them actually wanting to buy, whatever it is you have, is rare. I do understand the nostalgia for classic, but I honestly don't see why so many people get so hyped up when Jagex opens it back up. It was fun back in the day, but to play it now after so many years is an experience I never want to put myself through ever again. Most people who stuck around classic after RS2 launched ended up botting or moved on to RS2 anyways..
  11. Went to the gym yesterday focus mainly on upper body and legs. Can out of the gym to witness the aftermath of this.. http://www.tmz.com/2011/09/15/spongebob-squarepants-impersonator-fight-video-hollywood-blvd-cops-police-lapd/#.TnKbZnPPrBU
  12. Road over a bump, my watch broke, road over said watch, got flat tire. My watch is cursed.
  13. I don't see the appeal.
  14. I guess there is bomb threat near my gym, so it's looking like I won't be making it to my gym today.. <_< I do more of a circuit workout everyday but I try to get my legs in early on so I can have enough time for them to recover by the time I get to working my back.
  15. I've noticed that the older I get and the busier I get the less time I have to put into playing video games. As a result you tend to be very selective about which games you purchases because you want to maximize your experience. So opposed to when I was in high school when I used to purchase almost everything that came out, nowadays I only pick up the best of the best.
  16. I'm a Jets fan. 1-0. ASU football, ranked #22 and off to a 2-0 start (first time we've been ranked since 2008).
  17. I watched Win Win last night. Hilarious and well written movie. I would definitely recommend it.
  18. I've never heard of the term either. Sounds like a random term found on Urban Dictionary.. When I lived in a college dorm, I think at least 6 different people hooked up on my floor. It's not really a big deal, if you can why not? Some people were in it simply for the sex, others did it for the "relationship".
  19. I'm a bit shocked to find that this has sunken to the second page.. Oh well. Went to the gym today, Did a light workout, trying to get back in a routine, as my gym time this summer has been very sporadic. Was ending my workout with some back squats and I definitely pulled something in my lower-back has it's been hurting ever since I left the gym.
  20. Ok cool, I'll keep that in mind and that GoDaddy plan doesn't look to bad either.
  21. Movable Type is the software, I should have clarified.
  22. I don't know much about web hosting, but I'm in sure of a inexpensive host. Does anyone have any tips on what to look for? Or any recommendations for that matter? What I plan to be hosting is a Movable Type blog which is perl based.
  23. I got an idea! Lets make anniversary thread about every single war, revolutions, genocides, natural disasters, rebellions, terrorist attacks, everything! Families are still mourning about it, over millions of lives were lost and it marked a piece of our history am I right? How come Sept 11 which only lost 2,900 people is more special here compared to the holocaust which lost ~12 million people? Why oh why... The Holocaust is remember everyday, there are countless memorials all around the World along with the month of April dedicated to the remembrance of the Holocaust. So are you going to try and tell me the Holocaust isn't remember? Natural disasters are remember also, hurricane Katrina is usually brought up a couple times a year with specials and what not on TV. September 11 isn't the only deadly event that is remembered. There is also more to September 11 then the actual attacks themselves as affected the entire World. You may disagree, but could you honestly say the past tens years would have happened the same had the attack not happened? So a 10 years would be more important than 11 years? We created the term anniversary, but it's pretty much meaningless; it's just a round number. No, but culturally we treat 5th and 10th anniversaries at higher regards for publicity. Are you more likely to attend the 199th anniversary of Oktoberfest or the 200th anniversary (Yes, I know that've both have already passed)? Personally I'd be more incline to attend the 200th rather the 199th because you know it's going to be done up a lot more despite the beer being the same both years. (probably wasn't the best analogy but oh-well)
  24. Granted it is the 10th anniversary of the attacks, which should make this topic slightly more significant then those in the past. The only people that really takes 9/11 serious anyone, the ones that still mourn the day, are those who live in NY and those who were directly affected by the attacks. I still remember where I was 10 years ago, I was 12 riding the bus to school listening to reports over the radio, then siting in class as everyone is still trying to figure out what the hell was going on. Before that day I never even knew what the World Trade Towers were or where they existed. However today, I honestly don't particularly care about 9/11 anymore because I find it being used to justify all the deaths that have resulted because of the wars in Iraq & Afghanistan.
