We have a couple of like premium thrift stores around where I live but I never find time to go to them. I saw premium because they have much better selection of clothing then say a goodwill and are really selective about the items they take in.

Real life help & advice
Because TIF is not a Help Forum. Not all of us are struggling in real life. So what are we doing on the off-topic section of a Runescape forum? Are you saying it's a problem to participate in the off-topic section of a RS forum? Sounds more like a personal problem then anything. This thread is not "pinned" (term IPB uses) because it is consistently on the main page and we don't need any more things stickies then there already is.

Whistler is in British Columbia, Canada. So as long as you're referencing America as the entire Continent then you're right, but it'd be more right to say North America rather then America if you're referencing the Mexico, USA & Canada to avoid any confusion.

The Official PS3 Thread
Getting a UK address was kind of a annoy but I downloaded it, thanks.

The Back Room
If you advertised it in your signatures, you'd have to make it appealing to everyone to spark a greater interest and even with that you'd have to make a great appearance (activity) in another forum to even gain attention. The thing Retech did was more of an ambush and no one likes to get ambush, its to in your face that it becomes more of a turnoff and it looks desperate in a way. The way it was written didn't help, it wasn't something normally seen outside a roleplaying thread and even more so something that would be found in the Library if was still an active forum.. My two cents.

Any new PS3 games coming out soon? I haven't played a new game forever, like since MW2.

Blu-Ray and you
It is nice to see Blu-Rays drop to prices lower or equal to those of DVDs. Much nicer on my wallet.

Longboarding
Friendly mooching is bueno. As long as you don't [bleep] their [cabbage] up. Not much of a reason for me to do any sort of upgrades unless my stuff goes bad. I use my board very casually these days. It's getting to that point in the semester where freshmen are buying new longboards who've never road a skateboard before. It's a pretty funny sight.

Ordered and received. CD's and DVD's.
Bought the new No Age cd yesterday. I've only listened to it twice so far (second time was more for background noise at work) I'm liking it.

Blu-Ray and you
I try to buy Blu-Ray when I can, but most often I buy movies used off amazon (DVDs) or rent digital copies of movies.

Longboarding
I don't actually know where that came from to be honest, it just kind of show up one day in our garage and it's been there ever since. I do drink heineken on a rare occasion though. Everything is stock. What sold me on it was the double-jointed trucks, I thought that was pretty cool when at the skateshop trying out the different boards.

I can't stand schools.
I find this pretty sad. Your school shouldn't have to supply you daily planners for you to write down your own homework. It's your responsibility to remember your homework, not your school. Locker rooms are also very important for the entire school and are very vital for after school sports. You may not think they are important but think about what they'd do without them. You also learn more useful information from The Daily Show? I don't see how watching news parodies is ultimately useful in today's society. All your taking away from that show is news that is satirically presented to it's audience. Only real benefit I see to that is, helping you wind up some sort of conversation. You probably aren't even looking into the actual events to acquire your own opinion. I'm not really try to pick on you, but more make you aware of what's really important.

To be fair, I'd half expect that to be serious. Joking or not, don't post stuff like that as it sounds stalkerish and scary to people seeing it. Rainy is stalkerish and scary to people, too. I WANT TO SEE WHAT YOU LOOK LIKE. Don't let the red name scare you, Rainy isn't scary. If there is anyone to be scared of, it is Racheya. :ohnoes:

The Style Thread
I'm having a pretty relaxing day today, homework free, so I've been looking up some new stuff for fall. I'm feeling a jacket like this, http://needsupply.com/mens/outerwear/wilson-coat.html and some boots like these http://www.wolverine.com/us/1000mile/ (Their $325 so I'm going to see how I feel about them in about a month or two when it starts getting colder here in AZ before I through down that kind of money).

Longboarding
Theses are my brother and my longboards. Mine's the one on the right (bigger one) but they're both about 3 years old now. Sorry for quality, took them on my phone.

Creation of the Tidbits forum
I feel if we were to just allow people or begin to promote these kind of threads into the RS general discussion it would have to be introduced by a member of the staff to ensure that it won't get over run by spam and if that is the route that we want to take we can see how popular these become and then come back and reevaluate a possible subforum? That way people will become more familiar with what a tidbit post should look like. I would like to eventually see a subforum though, I feel these could be very useful for the community.

Swimming
I've decided to pick up swimming as something new to mix into my daily workouts. Not to mention I always happen to run into a my friends at the gym and thats seems to be what they're always doing, so I kind of said to myself, why not? I'm going tomorrow or Thursday and pick up a some goggles and a proper suit (probably jammers). Does anyone have any advice or friendly tips as I begin venture into swimming?

Hungry Jacks is better than McDonalds
Currently my favorite fast food hamburger joint is Five Guys. In-n-Out is overrated, McD has amazing fries, and I can't remember the last time I've eaten at Burger King. Carl's Jr is another favorite of mine and the Jack in the Boxes in Washington are pretty good too, used to get them all the time for lunch when I would work between summers during high school. I really don't eat fast food all that much though, I try to stick to a pretty healthy diet.

Creation of the Tidbits forum
I also like this idea to be honest. It's different enough that I don't find it to fit any of our current forums. If we really wanted to get technical , though, it would go into help & advice (advice being the key word) but I feel it we just threw this into an already existing forum like H&A it would get overlook by many but possibly adding it as a subforum to the Archive of Wisdom would be ideal in my opinion and bring more attention to that forum as a whole. I wouldn't have much of a problem with users getting a post count for posting in the forum either because I feel there is potential for some positive discussions.

Nice picture Sue! Lent, I can't say the same for yours.. You can pass my criticism on to the photographer for the lack of focus.
