BSS has the same stats in defence. I don't know... you could sell your AGS, buy claws and then save up a bit more for an arcane.

I don't think it's worth it to give up on a good KOing weapon for an arcane because I don't think you will really notice a difference in +20 more attack in magic. And congratulations on your second necklace. Don't lose it this time :P

What's so disgusting about it? Mages needed this necklace. If you farcast any meleer in a BH world (like a Mage is supposed to) they immediately turn on protect from/deflect Melee. And it's not like you hit 400 every time... if anything is more disgusting, it's the chaotic weapons. I thought Jagex realized that they went too far with those high hits with melee...

I thought it was 12k? But now I hear people saying it's 6m now... but in the 'Items kept on death' it says 20k.

This tbh- why I always wear karils top with torag/ veracs legs (or skirt <_< ) lets me block mage with ease, while ripping people to part with a cbow or whip :rolleyes: Of course, the fun starts with 10 people dark bows specing you (insta kill :ohnoes: ) Eh, just a Karil's top is not going to save you from a mage who is wearing decent mage gear (so no crap like Dragon'hai gear and ancient staff)...

Well I do think range is starting to get underpowered compared to melee and magic. Ice barrage can hit 478s and fire surge has such a sick average hit...

Alright thank you. And yeah the DPS is absolutely insane. Especially fire surge which has a crazy DPS (204 hit on average) with a 45% boost.

Don't forget that fire surge and ice barrage have a higher base damage than the KB says. Fire surge for example can hit 283 without any boosts. 283 * 1.30 * 1.15 * 1.21 + 40 = 551 but that still isn't right because you've hit 553. Oh Bedman how often do you hit 400+ with ice barrage on players? When I tried it on a maxed out player with a 45% magic boost I didn't hit 400+ that often at all... while on the few videos on youtube I've seen so far, people hit 400+ 3/4 times in a row...

Why not mage them?
