No. Look at the front page picture. That guy is wielding a staff of light and an arcane spirit shield.

Magic can farcast rangers without problems. Magic can hit from 10 squares max, while there are only 3 range weapons that can shoot from that range aswell: HC, Karil's Crossbow, Dark Bow and a Crystal Bow... so if you're using a crossbow you can't even hit a mage when you're frozen. What else... Meleers switching to dragonhide without penalties. And uhm, Magic having little KO potential. Magic is too expensive right now although the new staff combined with combat robes are minimizing the cost. Boss monsters have too high magic defence so you can't really mage them.

The new max hits are like this now. PvE: Claws of Guthix: 47/48 Ice Barrage: 49/50 Fire Surge: 46 PvP: Smoke Barrage: 36/37 Shadow Barrage: 38 Blood Barrage: 39/40 Ice Barrage: 40/41 Miasmic Barrage: 43/44 Fire Surge: 38

How? SD laggs and it doesn't have anti alias.

The staff of light saves you 103k if you're maging with fire surge, and 360k if you're casting ice barrage. SD on max settings. It looks like HD but without the anti alias. [hide=Picture][/hide]

I believe their looking at castle darken? Castle Drakan looks very different. Anyway, if you wanna watch that castle on your own, go to the level 21 room in Pyramid Plunder, and point the orb n-w.

Hey I've been maging aviansies for a while now... I'm a bit confused if the amount of bars I am getting is normal. So far I'm at 549 kills, and I have 541 bars. Is this the average? Somebody said that it was way below average, so I'm confused now :(

Meleers don't stand a chance against a skilled mage. And mages can kill rangers too, except for the ones that know what weapons to use against a mage. Which not many are aware of.
