  1. I can only answer the first one. They last for 5 hours which is 6000 casts.
  2. Expect a large dry streak soon... I've had luck like that too for about a week but I got a huge dry streak after that.

I do listen to RS music. Brings back memories and there are plenty of tracks which are pretty good.
  4. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qUsMjUvnNdQ Wow. Barraging the Bandos boss is actually pretty effective. They barely took any damage at all.

Well ranging potions are being dumped now, so that's great. But I still hate that channel.
  6. I completely agree. I would given the chaotic crossbow and staff a little more accuracy, but I think they're very balanced overall. Chaotic crossbow balanced? I would never waste 200k tokens on that garbage. 10 accuracy is NOTHING compared to the effort needed to obtain it and the fact that there are other FAR SUPERIOR weapons to buy at that price make this weapon god awful for the ammount of time spent vs reward. IT would need a special attack 20+ range bonus and range str bonus for it to be anywhere NEAR what chaotic staff and chaotic rapier are offering. EDIT:or increase the speed by 1. Then range can finally combo? Ugh no, the chaotic staff is worthless aswell :P The crossbow won't get a special attack simply because none of the weapons have one. I think it's a good idea to increase it's speed to that of Karil's crossbow. The staff should be given a 25% damage boost and +20 magic attack. Then all the chaotic weapons are somewhat balanced in my opinion. 25% would make magic invincible tbh. Chaotic staff can't really be buffed or debuffed because magic is already godly since arcanestream. Maybe just the added magic attack though. Yes chaotic cbow obviously needs some serious buffs, increasing the speed is a good choice. I sort of agree with you on the chaotic staff but I also disagree at the same time haha. Yes you can't really upgrade Magic too much because even a simple 5% damage boost can make things overpowered. But please do consider the time it takes to get a chaotic weapon. A rapier can hit around 500 at an amazing speed. Ice Barrage would be able to hit 508 if the staff would have a 25% damage boost and spells take 3 seconds to cast. However, Magic is just so damn accurate that it might overpower it indeed. I completely agree. Max of karils is around 300, while xbow can hit up into the 460s with rune bolts and void. Well, compared to the other chaotic weapons I do think it's somewhat balanced... not sure though.

  8. Well I don't think Ranged is as underpowered as you claim it to be, but it could definitely use some improvements. Jagex needs to lower the magic defence of bosses, the rune costs needs to be a lot cheaper and Magic could use some form of KOing. Also, rangers have Kree'arra and Commander Zilyana, meleers have General Graardor. K'ril Tsutsaroth is a demon and demons are supposed to be weak to Magic, however, K'ril Tsutsaroth is not weak to Magic. I think K'ril Tsutsaroth could be the perfect boss for the mages if Jagex would make some changes to him. It could drop a new staff and robes, making it the "GWD" equipment for Magic. A staff with an offensive special attack instead of the defensive one the Staff of Light has. The robes could have a rune saving ability. Melee should get some small nerves, like making the dragon claws special take 55% of your special attack bar. I think the special attack of dragon claws are overpowered. Or change it so that only players who have completed While Guthix Sleeps can equip dragon claws and place some NPC that buys all dragon claws for 35m. But JaGeX is probably the most melee biased company there is, which isn't going to help to rebalance the combat triangle! Rangers should be able to shoot from 10 squares with most weapons, because mages can simply farcast them. The MSB special should use 50% of your special attack instead of 55%. Dragonhide/Karil's/Armadyl needs some serious penalties to Melee. Not some silly -5 to stab, slash and defence Armadyl armor currently has. The triangle needs a complete overhaul because it's just messed up right now... sure, adding arcane necklaces was great for mages even though it has a ridiculous death value (I think it's 20k) causing pretty much every item to protect over it... the chaotic weapons are just way too overpowered. I thought JaGeX realizes by now that they've gone too far with Melee like they said in a Q&A and yet they keep adding more powerful melee items! The chaotic staff and chaotic crossbow are a complete failure, especially the crossbow.
  9. Actually, if you want reliable power, you choose Magic. Unless you want to kill a boss, then you choose melee. Range is just the defacto suck style in runescape. Yeah true but for the most part Magic has a much higher average hit than Melee does, especially with the new arcane necklaces.

Ranging potions? Why, out of all items, ranging potions?! I can't buy any anymore for ranging and for PvPing! I'm fine with these price manipulation clans as long as they pick an item that isn't used very often, but ranging potions?! Even dwarf weeds are hard to buy now! Damn price manipulation clans... and they're planning to keep them until they reach 24k
  11. Aw, beat me to it lol :(
  12. This week sees the introduction of ancient effigies to the potential loot you can receive when defeating the various creatures encountered during your adventures. Players taking on the challenges of combating stronger enemies will be more likely to discover an ancient effigy once their foe has fallen before them. These ancient effigies seemingly possess a will of their own and desire knowledge from the adventurers who hold them. Initially, an effigy will require you to have level 91 in one of two skills (chosen randomly) to investigate it, from which you will receive healthy amounts of experience in the skill you choose. As effigies absorb more and more of your knowledge, they will require ever higher levels in other skills level 93, then level 95, and, finally, level 97. If you can supply the ancient effigy with all the knowledge it seeks, you may discover something of the secrets it holds... Less experienced adventurers who luckily manage to obtain an ancient effigy, but who dont have the skill levels to supply it with the knowledge it seeks, can always ask for a helping hand through the Assist System (the person who assists will earn the XP, but you may still end up with something for your troubles at the end). Alternatively, if you lack both experience and patience, and would prefer more instant gratification, Historian Minas at Varrock Museum will be more than happy to take an effigy off your hands in exchange for a small reward. Mod Rathe RuneScape Content Developer Summary: Where to get ancient effigies: Ancient effigies are rare drops from a wide variety of creatures... Requirements to investigate ancient effigies: Levels 91+ in various non-combat skills (which skills may vary for each effigy found). In other news... The Orb of Oculus (machinima camera) has been upgraded and given new functionality and features to help you with all your in-game videos. The classic Clan Wars arena is now entirely multiway, with the exception of a small area around each entrance portal. A monkey has appeared in the sword shop in Varrock. If you stop by, he may be able to sell you something from his own stock... You can now convert clay into soft clay with the Humidify spell from the Lunar spellbook.
  13. Interesting inventory there. What are you doing? I was doing my dailies.
  14. Bob abandoned Neite. I found Bob in Seers' village lol.
  15. Actually, if you want reliable power, you choose Magic.
  16. Got it on my second attempt.
  17. I got it on my second try. I killed all the healers at first but when Jad got down to half HP again they returned so I lured them on me and they stopped healing him. Jad really isn't that hard if you can control your nerves. Thanks a lot for the guide!
  18. I died at Jad. I was out of brews and was struggling with the healers and Jad's attacks. I'm going to replace my void with Verac's helm, Karil's top and Verac's skirt and barrows gloves. And I'll take 1-2 extra brews with me too. I had Jad at half HP and had 8 super restores left so I can miss out on some super restores for more brews. Thanks a lot for the videos, they really helped a lot. I'm going to try again tomorrow. Overall, I didn't think I did too bad for my first try.
  19. What? I'm just following Muggiwhplar his guide. I don't have high melee stats so I want to use the ranger method. And why am I bleeped because of my defence? I attack everything from a safe distance anyway.
  20. Will this do? It's for the fight caves.
  21. Will this do?
  22. I want to give the caves a try soon. I have a longbow sight and I think it could be pretty good at Jad because even though it may be slower than a shortbow, it's higher accuracy is pretty amazing. What do you think?
  23. [hide] [/hide] You killed the boss but the exit door wouldn't open :P [hide=93 Range.][/hide]
  24. Shark/rocktail brewing is working again.
