10-Aug-10 A Void Dance
Who told the bartender the truth? I told him the lie but I'm curious as to what he has to say if you tell him the truth. Same thing with the void leech, who killed him? I set it free, but I wonder what happens if you kill it.

Post all RS Screenshots, Videos, and Sounds here!
In the area where you fight the jungle demon in Monkey Madness? I don't think so, last time I went there, it was just a huge platform made of teak planks or something It wouldn't surprise me one bit if he somehow managed to glitch himself there.

Oinkbullet3.
I don't know how this happened... my graphics got messed up. Lol And this is what I've been telling you about. I fell and my body was on that hill but due to an invisible wall I couldn't get to it so I was stuck. I was at the bottom of Teldrassil and there was no way for me to go back up. And as you can see in the chat somebody was willing to commit suicide but that didn't end up very well.

So you've been around the block?
I remember dropping yew logs near Melzar's maze to that place with the hogoblins. The bots would pick the logs up and sometimes a hogoblin would kill them... Lol or locking them in in the house west of Rimmington.

Am I the only one that noticed that all of the faces are much more detailed? Mainly the eyes.

The F2P General Discussion Thread
I ignore them. There is no point in arguing with those kind of people. I'm a PTPer but sometimes I play FOG in a FTP world. When I do so I always wear leather boots because I've always liked to wear those boots in FTP. Once, while waiting in the FOG lobby, somebody started following me and asked me what I was doing in a FTP world because I'm level 107 (or 116 with Summoning). I said that I was indeed a PTPer but she wouldn't believe me because I wore leather boots and said that I was too poor to be a PTPer... made no sense at all. Lol

Newfound Uses for Modern Prayers
What's with the buzz about the new prayer? It's most likely only going to increase your Ranged by 5% more than Eagle Eye.

02-Aug-10 Behind the Scenes August
I hope they will make some changes to the chaotic crossbow and chaotic staff.

Magic is overpowered
misasmic doesnt halve the attack speed :twss: you posted a hide tag of "4chan.org" then a smiley face, that had absolutely no purpose and was basicly spam also people saying miasmic halves attack speed, it does not What are you talking about? :/ Of course it reduces the attack speed of your target.

Magic is overpowered
misasmic doesnt halve the attack speed It reduces attack speed by 50%.

Magic is overpowered
Magic does beat Melee and Ranged when it comes to DPS in PvP :P But not in PvM. If the Mage uses Miasmic against the Ranger, then even in armadyl armor, the Ranger will lose.

Magic is overpowered
I disagree about the chaotic staff. Miasmic Barrage maxes at 484 and Ice Barrage maxes at 490 with a chaotic staff. That's only 6 damage higher (or 0.6 in HP terms). They should increase the chaotic staff to 25% and then I'd say it's worth getting. Yeah, there's a huge difference between the chaotic melee weapons and previous melee weapons. Not so with the staff and crossbow. EDIT: Furthermore, why does melee always get a huge array of weaponry in comparison to mage and ranged? Why are there four melee barrows sets but only one each of mage and ranged? Why three chaotic weapons for melee? Ranged could have the slow, accurate, one-handed crossbow and a fast, two-handed shortbow. Magic could have the staff and some sort of two-handed orb that has negative accuracy but a HUGE damage modifier. I think Jagex could have been more creative. Hopefully they balance it out with batch 2. This game is incredibly melee biased and the latest update to Castle Wars confirmed this once more. It's sad :( I've lost all hope for a complete overhaul when a Jagex MOD posted on their YT channel that they got it balanced "just right". Yeah... then why is Magic still the most inefficient combat style to use in PvM... Jagex has kept a melee dominant game for so long players have gotten used to it being the supreme ruler of combat. I really wish the entire combat triangle were overhauled, as not 1 little update here, one little update there, but major changes to all three styles of combat that are necessary if this game is to even have a "combat triangle". Jagex has yet to get serious about it because the majority of players will just take a sword to something and be fine and dandy, those who wish to use any other styles of combat are just little voices in the distance. I personally think the chaotic crossbow should have its speed increased to that of a whip and the range increased to 13 squares. A shortbow would be nice as well. As for Magic I think there should be two types of weapons a wand with high magic attack and damage and a staff with moderate damage/accuracy and decent defensive stats. I've always found a staff with a heavy damage bonus and a wand with a lower damage bonus but faster casting to even things out to be a good idea :D

Efficient solo Dungeoneering
Bump. I still have some unanswered questions.
-
Efficient solo Dungeoneering
A medium dungeon takes me 20 minutes to complete if I'm soloing. I don't know if that's fast, because I just read that people can complete large dungeons in 20-30 minutes  Even though I don't see how I can complete my floors any faster. I place gatestones when necceserily, I don't make armor or food and I don't kill monsters in rooms that lead to a dead end or when there is no guardian door. I'm doing floor 30-35 right now and I'm getting 12-13k xp per floor. So that's around 36k xp/hr. If somebody can tell me if 20 minutes for one medium floor is normal, please let me know. I don't like teaming up with others, but thanks for the rushing advice. I didn't know it was faster in F2P. Thanks!

Regarding Nomad's "Melee" Stage.
No, if he can't reach you, he will heal himself. Happened to me twice when I tried to kill him.

Where did you hear that?

Efficient solo Dungeoneering
I'm going for 80 Dungeoneering (level 71 right now) and I would like to know if I'm levelling it in the right way. When the dungeon starts, I buy a hatchet, pickaxe, hammer, tinderbox, knife and an empty vial. I also buy some rune essence to create gatestones and to cure myself with Cure Me. I don't bother killing ANY monsters in a room that leads to a dead end and I DON'T kill any monsters in a room where there is no guardian door. I rush the first 15 floors because those give too little xp. Am I doing it right? Should I rush more floors before I complete the other ones? Should I kill every monster?

Small or medium dungeneering rooms while solo?
