Got my first ever elite 15 kills into my first ever iron drag task a day after they were released. Became addicted to metal dragons and done well over 20 runs, killing over 70 iron/steels per run. Still not had a second clue from them.

There are three categories of players: people who get caught up in this game and community they have created. Then there are those who cannot see for the life of them WHAT the other group are getting so FUSSY about. Then there're people like me who just sorta lurk and stand there and only get involved in 'trolling' because they like arguing ^_^ I don't really care about trolling, I don't walk away from my computer aggrivated about it, and neither should anyone else. If you can't handle someone else being a douchebag over the internet then I think you have problems and need to man up. The real world's got a lot more pressing issues than the internet ever will have.

So you think staying in on A SATURDAY NIGHT warring until 8am Sunday morning before going to bed is easier than getting up for a war at maybe 12.00(17.00)-14.00(19.00) est (gmt) on the Satruday? Staying up late at night I find tends to make it a pain in the ass getting up in the morning. I know I'd be pissed if I had to go to a pkri that lasted til 3am, then realise that in 3-4hours I'm going to have to start getting ready for uni/work/school.

i still wished them luck on rebuilding :/ 60% of their clan is gmt. They still managed to pull 26 to our 30 in a cwri. Ok, so what's the point of all this? That you're good, or that they're bad? :thumbsup: I agree with that. IF they're pulling 26/37 to a 9pm EST war, with 60% of their ml being GMT, it shows that they are striving to do well. What they've lost will come as a huge blow to them, but they will be able to take on the top 10 again in about a year if they want to. That said I honestly prefer mid size clans pkri's (Like Gladz, bk, df, tr do) so I think it'd be great if RJ kinda stayed within that league. Think it's way better than the top 10 who essentially mass recruit high levels (albeit skilled warrers) that fails to interest me. But each to his own I s'pose :)

The peopole in your clan chat sound like the fisherman from the story of the fisherman who caught a fish that was thiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiis big. Bosses aren't easy. If you have maxed stats + all the best gear than they're probably like fighting the Barrows brothers with standard gear; more of an inconvenience than a difficulty. But not EVERYONE has a cls, a cr, maxed stats, full vestas/bandos, overloads, dclaws and a pack yak. If someone is finding a boss to easy then the ycan either try another boss, or fight the same boss in a different manner. For the most part I think bosses are fought for loot rather than fun anyway.

Damn shame, you guys were one of the best. But, sometimes it's better just to end than drag it out. RIP.

Q1. Do you see any possibility in designing a pvp system for CWA? The current 'dangerous' fight drops hardly make it worth the risk. Q2. For Cwa is there any possibility of introducing more maps? I'm sure ones like Greater Demons to East Tree would be greatly appreciated. That coupled with the possibility of a good drop system in dangerous CWA would mean clans could pvp without having to worry about crashers. Q3. Will we be seeing an increase in the clan chat capacity anytime soon? Furthermore is there any possibility that the operator of that cc could give greater priviledges to different ranks? Q4. What is your view (if any) on clans who use No Honour tactics such as mass name changes, crashing and cape switching? Q5. The term 'no honour' has certainly evolved over the past few years. Are you currently aware that Hacking, real life threats and (D)DoSing are becoming more commonplace within the clan world? Do you feel that JaGex intervention and proper recognition of the clan world would lessen the extent to which these 'tactics' are used? Do you think this inervention may actually become necessary in order to stop some selfish children in different clans doing some serious damage to your game? that is all :)

tbh whenever I'm playing my chat is 'off' and the only tab I have on is clan (unless I need to see game chat like at Metal drags :P). Regardless, I can never see anyone talking and as such I don't reply when they talk to me. You have no idea how many times I've turned my chat back 'on' just to see: "20 Rhys 04 Yo, 20 Rhys 04 Dude are you there??? Oh ma gawd he aint talking Bot Reported." Idc tbh, Jagex aren't TOTAL idiots so they'll know you aint botting if you've been reported for not entering into a conversation :P

Now that's not true, most of jag's profit comes from advertising. It's since they have such a MASSIVE f2p fan base that they can get so much money from their adverts- because the people paying them to advertise KNOW what kind of market they're targeting. That statement is like me saying "Seeing as p2pers don't have to watch the adverts, they contribute less to the game than f2pers" Logistically that's probably correct, but at the same time they've bought that privilege, not like I'm goning to get hung up on it.

The 'top 10 clan ranking' has always been a touchy subject. It's open to interpretation and there are so many factors that can affect these ratings, however I have noticed there is a distinct lack of GMT based clans based within the top 10. One of the more recent opinions on these forums ranked the top 10 as follows: 1. Runescape Dinasty 2. Corruption 3. Reign of Terror 4. The Titans 5. Violent Resolution 6. Echo of Silence 7. Rejuvenation 8. Divine Forces 9. Crimson Raiders 10. LDK Only one of these clans is actually ground-in GMT, and they're ranked 10th, although there doesn't seem to be a shortage of good GMT clans like LDK, Fools, TR, NG, TRWF, DG, RKOF So my questions to you are as follows: Personally I don't see any one reason why a GMTclan couldn't take number 1, I know all of the top 10 do have 'GMT units' It just seems to be that the majority of their wars are fought at a time that favours esters, which obviously puts GMTers at a disadvantage.

Lol'd :P Gratz DF, nice pull and a solid win. Looked like BK lost a lot of people towards the end of the war though, musta been tough on their part, so props to them.

JaGex were responsible for the destruction of the clan world with the removal of the wilderness. After that it started to cannibalise itself with DDoSing, hacking, Real life threats and flames and beefs gone too far. I doubt 12+hour fights in f2p, which calls for some serious dedication from the individual, really appeals to most people. Jag have just now made it easier for people to join the RSB rankings. The majority of people who use the Rsforums anyway are members, and most of them are probably kids who don't see why they should fight in f2p when they have maxed account, with the best armour available. Obviously the more relaxed and p2p focussed RSB is going to appeal to them.

well thought out, I agree with you totally!! I'm mems until the end of septembr, but then I'll be back to f2p at level 119/120, I'm pretty much boned at dungeoneering!! Does anyone know if the 47 Prestige bonus carries from mems to f2p btw?

OH goody I like TR ^_^ As far as multiclanning is Concerned on TIp.It I THINK that clan members can be in one main clan and one team/country clan, so you should be okay, but I'd check with a mod first :P Hope you enjoy your stay, reckon there'll be some good pkri's between you and The, Gladz and BK. this one opinion led to this: To be fair he's more of the kinda poster that focuses on his clans topics or topics concerning his clan, so naturally he won't like trolls. How is saying someone focuses on his own clan on forums and probably won't like trolls considered trolling him? There is nothing wrong with sticking to your own topics and it's a pretty true statement about him. You are really hard to please so I'll expect some kind of weird response about how this is a troll too... I fail to see how the other part where I called him out calling people 8 yr olds is a troll. Control your member if you are really that upset that he caused problems. [/hide] I was focusing more on how that post was a stepping stone, rather than itself beign a troll, and semi-contextulised the rest of the 'conversation'. It's not upet me at all, but I thought this topic was about 2 things: getting people to post in a more original manner and discussing the problems of trolling. As I said in my post if you just ignore these things it helps, if it's annoying you THAT much report it. Really there's no need to 'call him out', because that's ultimately just going to lead to MORE trolling and nothing constructive... Yes, there is a need to call him out if he is being a hypocrite about trolling. What your saying is that his trolls are acceptable and don't need to be called out, however you feel the need, on every topic to call out other people's. Control him if you don't want him to be made to look like an idiot, because his posts reflect back on your clan, and currently the image isn't looking too great. I never said his trolls are acceptable, I don't know if you've completely mis-interpreted what I've said but basically I was hinting that it would be best to ignore trolls, because if they don't get a rise then they'll be much less inclined to troll. As for me calling out trolls on EVERY TOPIC I READ, would you please show me an example? The only place I know where I'm an ass is the 'rants' section of forums. Usually I only post on a topic if it interests me or I want to respond to someone who has adressed one of my previous posts (as I am doing just now). Very rarely do I go out of my way to point out that someone has been trolling, I trust my fellow CD readers can pick this out and don't feel the need to point out that someone is being an idiot.
