  1. ^ I whole-heartedly agree ^ As a writer who personally attempts to make every last sentence correctly spelled and punctuated this irks me quite a bit as well. Grammatically that's incorrect. Why not try: "As a writer who attempts to make certain every last sentence is correctly spelled and punctuated, this irks me quite a bit as well" or "As a writer, who personally attempts to make every last sentence correctly spelled and punctuated, this irks me quite a bit as well. " Just joshin' with ya :P ;) I find if you just rise above it and lol at these people it aint too bad ^_^
  2. Current Clan?: Titans Revolution Current Clan's Slogan?: The Revolution has Begun My Preferred Clan Slogan?: Noobz n Proud!
  3. No, there're pros and cons to it, imo the cons ouweigh the pros. In CWA there's always a clear victor, there's no crashing, and you don't have to worry about having enough rune sets to make it to the end of the fight. While PvP does give more of a rush and a larger warring zone, I find that their tends to be a lot of disputes, flaming and crashing associated with it. Really I'm game for either, but just think CWA is more fun. It does annoy me but when people start this bull with "oh my god, you don't pvp, your clan sucks"... Man up, each to his own, just because you don't like something doesn't mean everyone should conform to your views of fun.
  4. I like how even this topic has turned into a troll. Kinda proves the point that you can't "just have the intelligent trolls". Seen a lot of people trolling my clan, am I bothered, no? Pride comes before a fall, and if people learned they DON'T HAVE TO RESPOND TO EVERYTHING THEY DISAGREE WITH then things might be running a little more smoothly. That's the problem with people; they like to find an easy target and latch on, admittedly some of the posters from my clan do stir things up now and again, but it doesn't mean you need to attack them every single time. Maybe if people took some time and weren't so easily aggrivated by people saying stupid things like "you mad bro" "you're 8 years old" "your clan is gunna die" then there wouldn't be so many unintelligent trolls in the first place. If you give people a reaction then they're obviously going to continue with the trolling. Point in case [hide] this one opinion led to this: To be fair he's more of the kinda poster that focuses on his clans topics or topics concerning his clan, so naturally he won't like trolls. Jesus Christ, you people need to get a grip, just because you don't agree with something doesn't mean you HAVE to respond to it. Maybe it'd be a good idea to think about what you're going to say and put forward a valid argument rather than go in for a "I can't think of anything better to say, so I'll just insult your clan, dignity and personal stance, thereby undermining you, trolololol" approach. [/hide] Good thing is though, we do have people who can respond intelligently: ^ sh00r he trolled my clan, but at the end of the day it's still a GOOD POST: COOKIE FOR AM8!!
  5. Prefer these forums without a shadow of a doubt to RSC since at least here I'm not flamed and called a "no-namer" for posting my genuine opinion. That said people could do with possibly a bit more trolling, but more to the standard Dan produces which results in beef and healthy rivalries rather than Ninane stated with the "gf u inbreds". But this in turn is like saying "all trollers are equal, but some trollers are more equal than others". While it' nice and idealistic to discuss things in terms of grey, I know that it will inevitably lead to people complaining about how their comment was one of the good trolls and not the bad ones, which can result in disputes between the poster and mods, or flat out flaming between two clans. here's a list of... stuff: 1. The idea of a "thumbs up, thumbs down" system for posts sounds quite nice- we could at least trial it. 2. People who post "congratz insertclanname insertsmileyofchoice" do need a slap, it's okay the first time but it's got to the point where, to put it eloquently, it's had "the arse ripped oot it". 3. The problem with CD is that there are only so many things that can be discussed, after a while topics all start to look like other topics which were posted a few months back and people get bored and things stagnate. More often than not the only difference in the topics is the name of clans involved. It's up to us to be innovative about it! 4. Well done Dan and LolYumadtho for actually adressing these issues!! =D>
  6. How've you killed thousands of these yet keep your slayer as low as 72 and maintain about 11 million combined comabt experience?
  7. I think they've had more re-openings than there are "Jaws" sequels, that's impressive!!
  8. Happy Birthday T0, may you see many more, all the best in the next year  Rhys
  9. was fun, although I'd like more challenging wars tbh in the main cup rather than low pulling rsb --> low pulling rsb --> High leveled RSC. Timbo is such a ledge, his incompetance makes me think of Boris Johnson ^_^
  10. Your right they do suck, but what can you say about your clan what have you guys achieved enlighten me with your overwhelming knowledge of yours And non of you want to answer the question because there is no one outside of top 10 that can call if you call your self's a good caller because you can scream a name of a person with your microphone in a 20 vs 20 cw fight then i really do feel sorry for you. but then again you guys have your own little Cw community and i do respect that i do wish you all the best. I'm sorry, but would you please be so kind as to explain your logic in thinking that "calling in the wilderness with 90-120 people behind you makes you a better caller" ? A good caller isn't all about getting the targets called- yes getting fast transitions is important - but it's more about motivating your clan. If you can get them hyped and into kill mode you will see an improvement in everything they do, be it binding, ranging, tanking or sniping. Now generally speaking I'd think this is a lot more important in a standard CWA war than in the typical Pkri for several reasons: 1) If it's 20vs20 then the wrong pile is extremely bad juju. If you're calling well and getting people to bind more then you'll down that tank more quickly and thus be able to take the lead- which also demoralises the other clan. Conversely, if you can encourage whoever is tanking for you into going that bit longer then you're also in a strong position to take the league and again bolster your clans moral. 2) In big Pkri's the main piles rarely cross - it's usually up to snipers to do damage to the enemy pile. As such it's not exactly common place to get a series of good transitions on anyone other than the snipers. On the other hand in the Clan Wars Classic map you're always aware of the other clan and only good, motivational and clear audio callers allow for your clan to get a series of k0s on the enemy binders. Taking out 3-4 binders with transitions would be epic, give you a MASSIVE lead and also allow your tnaks to tank more. 3) You can't return to a normal CWA war, like you can in a pkri. Since you can return in pkri's, if the clans are roughly evenly matched then you're unlikely to see a change in numbers and with 100+ people behind you, it's mroe than likely that every 2nd pile will be a k0. On the other hand in CWA and the other clan ends up on top then you're in serious trouble, however it isn't unheard of to turn the tables around. A prime example would be the recent Corr vs RSD war. At oen point RSD were down by 8-9 men, but they were pumped enough and well enough organised to bring it back and take control. Audio isn't necessary for this, but I guarantee you it helps a hell of a lot. I don't expect you to agree with, read or even care for what I've saiad, but then again that's what I've come to expect from most top 10 members, more often than not they come from RSC which is full of trolls and flames so have a lack of respect for others. Hey but, maybe you'll prove what I've said here wrong, that'd be nice ^_^
  11. cuz with the troll posts it's hard to take just about any war topic seriously? :P Gratz Downfall, ripped 'em.
  12. Looked like fun guys, Good work

    My "luck"

Get yourself a pair of avaiators and some kind of convertible american muscle car, then you'll be bad-ass and you'll be as lucky as you like :D
  14. Corr performed much better than I thought, think they mighta had a shot of winning if there was no name changes, but then TT might have won, and thus hypothetical theories are a bunch of pish. Congratz RSD  :)
  15. Nah, ye see most attacks which people on RS claim are DDoSes on 'Scape are in fact DoSes. Just because some 12 year olds download some progam from limewire or a torrent that claims it can Guarantee a DDoS attack they think that it actually it is. Little do they know that the standard PC does not have the processing power to DDoS because that requires a multitude of computers or a cabbage-load of processing power  Dk leaders being of an older generation and higher intellectual tier than these 12 year olds are actually aware of the difference and thought they'd be clever naming it DoS, thus other smart people can remark on it saying "ohicwatudidthere" that or it's a typo..... Although I do agree it'd be scarier!! DDOS's have nothing to do with processing power - the key difference between a DDOS and a DOS is that a DDOS is distributed, thus meaning it comes from many different locations and therefore harder to block. pretty sure a super computer can DDoS, but that's then the argument of if that qualifies as one computer or as a collection of several individual computers ^_^

  17. Nice work guise, looked like Apoc started strong, but tbh Lth must've been epic throughout if they ended up so heavily outnumbered. Gj both

  20. Protect magic doesn't help against metal dragons. But yeah take a sip of antifire from now on. Prot melee alone= no difference anti-fire alone = reduction in damage taken anti-fire + Prot melee = 0 damage taken problemo solved?
