PKs, fine. However, I think having a "richest" category on the high scores would make even more players care too much about accumulating gp. I don't think JAGeX wants that. I think they'd prefer that the playing community has more balanced interests as a whole. lpinkus

I don't care for the proposed kick emote. There's already a kicking attack style (unarmed) that does damage. A kick *emote* would have to look much different as well as be harmless; no stunning, no damage. Oh, and please, please don't bring up martial arts next. lpinkus

Considering that people don't really care for rune 2-handers, why would they want a dragon one? I don't expect it anytime soon, unless the special is *very* advantageous. Then again, a great special should make it very difficult to obtain. lpinkus

Unless you and 10,000 other free players decided to quit, I don't think you are going to get your own Castle Wars arena. Nothing personal, but I'm sure JAGEX is happy to have 1 of 10 free players become members eventually. If some people quit because they didn't get CW, I don't think they'll mind. The lottery idea is fine by me. I've heard it before. It doesn't introduce new gp into the game, by the way, people. 1000 players buy tickets at 100 gp per. 1000 x 100 = 100,000 One player gets the other 999 player's money. No gp introduced, see? Bank of Karamja? No. It also interferes with the Pirate's Treasure Quest. lpinkus

I know you're trying to defend your idea, but it doesn't matter how minimal the amount is, IMO. Xp needs top be constant, i.e. X per demon killed or Y per armor smithed. There are already plenty of items that effect how easy it is to get that xp, but for each task, it should be the same. lpinkus

It seems harmless, but if it was this easy to dye your hair, there would be less money drained and less runes used up. Most would agree that the RS "economy" is better off when players spend their gp and expend their runes rather than horde. lpinkus

I'm not sure what that means. Like I said, I don't feel JAGeX is trying to influence players' choices. In fact, I think they have a responsibility to not do the aforementioned. With appropriate limits, I could see this happening. Less typing would be nice. I'd said this would never happen a week ago, but then they instilled the Cook X :) This wouldn't need to be a quest reward, either, I think. It could be for everyone. Maybe even (gasp) F2P! lpinkus

No, I wouldn't even say that much. They're not trying to express that they're (JAGeX) opposed to religion. Personally I would have a problem with that, but I don't feel that's actually the case. I'm sure there are people who are religious and non-religious working for JAGeX and, just like at any business, they find a way to get along. lpinkus

I'm on the side of the "don't read into it too much" people. I sense this sort of thought can only create flaming, but we'll see... Anywho, I'm sure that there are both Theists and Atheists who program Runescape, and I really doubt they're trying to influence players in terms of religion or a lack thereof. That said, I always do find it interesting that there are many religions in the Runescape world. However, I think it's done to mimic real life. And, by the way, it's someting we should all be able to have an open mind about. I think JAGeX does send that message, so I see nothing wrong with it. lpinkus

Thats not a bad thing, a level 3 getting 120's is hillarious, and a good way to kill off noobs. That's just plain silly. A level 3 is not necessarily a noob, and if you treat a level 3 with no respect, OR you make random events that own them, you only create more noobliness. lpinkus

Not a good idea. I actually think the levels of fightable random events are very well balanced. lpinkus
