True, mind you, thinking that over I just got another decent counter: ability changers. Factoring all that in, the absolute best counters out there are ice type moves, coffargrius, and bulky waters.
Another big counter of gliscor: bulky waters and levitators. Bulky waters tend to survive most of gliscor's movesets, and can 1-2hko back with stab surf/ice beam, wheras levitators such as rotom resist his main stab (eq) and can hit back with neutral attacks. Will-o-wisp also nukes gliscor...badly. Oh, and in an unrelated question: I'm trying to find a decent pkmn for the multi-sub. Currently have a perfect-iv haxorus as my first pkmn.
Should these people be punished though? I'm going to have to say no, due to the way the game is currently. I'll throw out an example: todd bertuzzi. A little over 8 years after that 'hit', he was still able to play/be a part of the game. Was he a good scorer? No. So then why did detroit sign him. They signed him because of his agression/ability to deliver team-inspiring offence. Should chara be punished? No. Chara was hired by boston for exactly the same reason as any other defenceman is hired by any other team: to inspire the team with pointless agression, and to make sure that the enemy doesn't score.
I actually perfected an anti-stall team once. Mind you, with today's metagame, it is tough to combat stallers. Best options are stat-inflicters who can go offensive (ie: chandellure, volcarona, and ferro). Mismagius could also fall into that category, if you don't mind the vulnerability to bisharp.

Cm is calm mind, and the other 3 are tiers for competitive battling (nu being neverused, uu being underused, and ou being overused/the 'main tier'). See smogon for details.
Interesting...isles are hot, devils are hot, and the kings are slowly falling out of the playoff picture. I'd laugh if the islanders won 10 straight to end the season, seeing as during the past 3 years, they've lost 13, 12, 8, and 17 to end the seasons.
Anyone else find this generation to be interesting? It seems that every uu/nu pkmn from the previous gens have gotten better without actually leaving their tiers. Altaria is now a godly physical tank but is still uu, shuckle gained the ability to have non-cruddy atk but is still nu, and although manaphy was oddly uber last gen, it now makes a perfect uu sweeper.
All over pkmn help sites (namely serebii/smogon), they have teams of people joining together in 'clans'. These clans then face other clans striving to become the best overall group. Imagine if we made our own clan representing tip.it, and faced those other 'pkmn help site' ones....
Well, that kinda explains it. Mind you, he's still pretty threatening. The combination of willo/toxic, stab hex, and good defences/pretty good spa cries splashback wall, but for some reason, he remains bl. Oh, and I actually had an idea if anyone was interested. Anyone heard of pkmn clan wars?
Taunt is more or less the best move in gyara's movepool, imo. It nerfs most of gyara's counters (ie: will-o-wispers/stall-wallers), and generally decimates most of the ou tier in general. Oh, and I actually have an interesting question: what tier is co[bleep]rigus in? I was assuming ou since it is 'dusknoir 2.0', but I've heard rumors now that it is uu...
Meh...should be interesting come playoff time, seeing as aside from washington, we're still unsure about who's gonna end up where playoff-spot wise. I'd love to see a was vs njd first round though...hell, if jersey wins and faces the rangers, then I may just watch the entire damn playoffs. As for the west: I'd may as well make a chipotle-style prediction. Chicago will get eliminated in the first round. Oh, and san jose will probably represent the west in the cup final, unless vancouver manages to pull off a miracle.
Meh...even without a first rounder, making the playoffs for them is still pretty bad. The best hope they have is getting knocked out early, to avoid possible injury to their players. They're never gonna make it past the first round, not unless the entire washington team catches the plague and dies...
