Well, there's no /ot/ in psychic, but there is an /ot/ in psych/ot/ic.

Lol...optimus reim. He can block those evil decepti-pucks, but only for half the season. leafs realistically have only an 8% chance to make the playoffs, and that's if carolina/buffalo lose their next 2. Kinda interesting though if you listen to the rumors. Apparently the devils have a huuuge trade planned for the end of the season, which involves sending zubrus and 1 prospect over to the kings for one of their backup goalies. Just shows how much belief they have in martin brett-eur...I mean bret brod-favre...I mean, that guy.

Meh...zoroark is a pretty dumb pkmn. Sure, it has great offenses mixed in with decent speed. Only problem though is that the ability practically kills it. Get zoroark to copy a defensive pkmn, and chances are people'll either try to hit it hard (usually ohko'ing zoroark), or they'll pick up on the moveset irregularity and stab-kill it easily. Sure, sometimes his tricks work, and he goes unnoticed while effectively set-up sweeping a team. Unfortunately, the rarity of that happening is too low. In other news: my new smeargle lead works too well on the singles train. Moveset is a pretty simple one: fake out to break sashed/sturdy leads, spore to nerf'm, shell break to gain 2-4 'd-dances', and baton pass to send'm to either tornadus or axew. Scary part about this is that even after just 1 boost, tornadus ohko's skarmory with flying-gem acrobatics, a common wall for my team. Oh, and I gave up on the wobbu-lead, after I realized I'd be sacrificing the lefties I normally use on ferro. Oh, and @seph: you use shuckle? Shuckle remained nu for a reason though this gen. He has no reliable recovery outside of rest, and aside from being able to nerf the offense of sweepers with power share, he effectively remained the same old cruddy pkmn. Remove shuckle asap, replace with a type-c variant ferro, and if you don't want to immediately lose/get laughed at, then I'd also suggest replacing castform for either a type-b variant of reuniclus, or a lead victini (once v-burst comes out, of course).

My lights go on when I clap...by god, my lights must be phychic too! In all seriousness, random events like these are always bound to happen due to luck always being random in nature. Let's all hope that we start having feelings of charlie sheen/justin bieber's careers dieing off....hurry, everyone think hard!

@ginger: the first stage archen is also pretty deadly in itself. Base 110atk for a first stage=downright scary. In other news, I turned that flawless axew I had into a d'dance sweeper. Works too well now, mind you I'm always using him behind ferrothorn...seeing as after ingrain/6 curses, ferro can kill nearly anything not named stab-flamethrower. Trying to find a 3rd one for my singles team though, currently preparing a smeargle nerf-lead, and a wobbufett lead. Both should allow me to take out any ice/fire types, which currently threaten axew/ferro (mind you, with a jolly nature, axew more or less outspeeds everything) @sephiroth: due to heavy bias, I reccomend ferro and/or that new levitating electric type (the eel one). Ferro is defensive, but can be turned hyper-offensive. The eel has decent defenses, great offenses, and only really gets ohko'd by mold-breaker earthquake.

Haven't the past few months of updates been almost like one huge practical joke amongst themselves? Think about it, we get free trade/wildy back (that included a huge thing featuring all the people's usernames who voted yes), we get a smithing update we didn't actually need, and we get a pirate update that reminds us that they have yet to introduce the new quest. Any more foolishness and this'll just become annoying, mind you, I would love to see a metal dragon made entirely of cheese...

To be fair, jersey has performed well with different goalies. Remember the one season where brodeur was injured for 90% of it, and clemmenson took over? Was the first time in 16yrs where brodeur didn't have the most wins as a jersey goaltender. Mind you, it stinks they got rid of clemmenson though, seeing as he would've been the perfect goalie after brodeur retired. I can't wait to see what happens next season though, seeing as the devils will probably need to get rid of a bunch of players for cap space. Should be interesting playoff-wise though, seeing as it's scheduled to be (should the standings remain...) Stamkos vs crosby in the first round.

Typos...meant boldore evo's by trading...lol
-
@ginger: zebstrika is crap as you move on (having a highest stat od 140spe at lv50). Boldore evo's by training, and is only really worth using as gigalith. Vanillite is a decent pick for ground/ice coverage, but nothing else. I'd advise attempting to pick up a solosis in white, or a crustle/his prevo in black, due to the fact that they're both powerful sweepers, as well as offering good type coverage.
-
Egg moves are also downright manditory for any good lc team (namely d'dance on scraggy)
-
Mmhmm...safest time to evo by trade/stone is at lv86, seeing as no pokemon that evo's this way learns moves past lv85. Also, it's always better to level up stone pokemon past those 'desired moves', seeing as it requires less xp in earlier forms, and you can always use heart scales to get any moves that you passed. Oh, and I've also been experimenting with newer pkmn for the subway....managed to hatch a flawless jolly axew which I'm probably gonna use on the singles train as a d'dancer. Also gonna test out my wifi connection later...if it works, I'd be up for sharing some of the other axews (got 5 w/ flawless atk/spe iv's)

Well, I've finally beat the multi train/gotten a decent win streak on super-multi. Figured I'd post my team if anyone wanted to try to score some bp: Tornadus Naughty/flying gem 200atk/200spa/108speed -acrobatics -hurricane -crunch -extrasensory Info: acrobatics+flying orb is downright diabolical. With this combo, for one turn, you can nearly ohko most blissey variants, as well as put a huge hole in anything you choose. Hurricane is there to cover physical walls, crunch/extrasensory for coverage Ferrothorn Relaxed/lefties 252atk/4def/252spdef -curse -ingrain -power whip -gyro ball Info: more or less the standard ferro-tank. Ingrain+lefties offer reliable healing, and after 2-3 curses, more or less make you immune to physical hits. Power whip hits pkmn who would take little off gyro (namely swampert/0speed snorlax), and after a few curses, gyro just kills.

@moogel: I did, took me 6 months of file resetting/looking though.

What Game(s) Did You Last Get and What Are You Playing?
foursideking replied to runescapeloser22's topic in Off-Topic
@lowc: it doesn't. Wii version only has what's unlockable in the game, which is only around 40 superstars/12 divas. -

@lowc: just do what I did during grade 5: find a family of asians, and live with them for 6 months. By the end of it, you'll be ahead in school by 3 years, and have 100% in all your video games..../steoreotypes ftw!/ Oh, and if you like bioshock2, then you'll be happy to know that the multiplayer version of it (conduit2) comes out next month for wii... -

@lowc: my fiance did, and found it to be a waste of time. Try bioshock/arkham asylum first, to get the good games out of the way -
What Game(s) Did You Last Get and What Are You Playing?
foursideking replied to runescapeloser22's topic in Off-Topic
@lowc: for which system? Because for the wii I found it rather decent. Mind you, not having any of the nexus members in it kinda ruined the fun for me. Bioshock 2 you will enjoy if you liked the first one, and arkham asylum was weird-ish... -
Yeah, I think he flawed the list huge, seeing as he literally left out every good game, and added a bunch of bad ones. New list: Windwaker, twilight princess, goldeneye rogue agent, metroid prime 1 and 2, luigi's mansion, resident evil 4, marvel nemesis: rise of the imperfects, tony hawk pro skater 4, 007 nightfire, and pikmin 1 (pikmin 2 not added due to the less-enjoyable storyline)
-
@mask: be glad that the wii has a built in gamecube. Now you can still enjoy your classics, but still be able to rage-throw your remote all with one system.
-
I think this thread is 8 years too late...mind you the gamecube did bring 2 of the most interesting bond titles: goldeneye rogue agent (which arguably had the most interesting campaign storyline of any bond game, as well as having the most interesting 'weopen set' that featured both superpowers and ubercheap weopens), and 007nightfire (which had arguably the best multiplayer, due to the balance of weopens/good maps). Also kinda surprising that you left metroid prime off that list, seeing as it was the 3rd highest grossing game that nintendo put out (behind ocarina of time and super mario 64). Most of these games though are available/better on the wii, namely the prime trilogy and twilight princess.

Well, here's some more interesting facts regarding kovalchuk's salary: -if you turned it into pennies, you could make 12 and a half suits of armor, each suit being 5 inches thick all around -if you turned it into nickels, you could cover the entire cn tower with it 1.132 times Oh, and leafs are still doomed playoff wise. New jersey only needs to win 5 more to guarantee a playoff spot.

Escavalier dies pitifully to heatran though, and I mean truly pitifully (even an ember coming off heatran deals tons of damage to esca). Truly surprised to see that ludicolo managed to weasel his way into ou, seeing as 5th gen more or less 'swarmed' a dozen or so bugs into ou (namely accelgor/volcarona). Gonna be interesting to see where scrafty ends up though, seeing as aside from conkeldurr/the fighting legendaries, he has no real counter in ou (due to flying moves being rarely used).

@riku: ever heard of taylor swift?

What Game(s) Did You Last Get and What Are You Playing?
foursideking replied to runescapeloser22's topic in Off-Topic
Not if you count me trying out lindsay lohan's grand theft auto....j/k, trying out halo 3 -
For many people, fps's are defined by 3 classic franchises: 007 (for its use of vast amounts of weopens/grenades), halo (for its amazingly good multiplayer/unorthodox weopens), and counter-strike/team fortress (for their extreeeemely addicting online pc multiplayer). Gonna be interesting to see how brink competes, seeing as there's a flood of new shooters coming out in the next month (namely conduit2, and 2 new 007 games)
