TOTALLY AGREE. I use the term "they" here lightly, don't get your panties in a wad people... The whole argument for years and years has been for equality, yet they want to have a whole month to celebrate their own history? Sounds very separated from the whole unified America they want to me. Take it away i say, celebrate America as a whole. The argument of slavery being part of American history holds no weight with me, every country has dark times. Celebration is for good times, focus on the good times. Black History Month is just an excuse to rub the slavery issue in our faces and put us on a guilt trip. As a white person i always hated that month. Not because of the actual "holiday/celebration", but for the fact that it was forced upon us. Especially in school. I felt uncomfortable with it and grew tired of it every year. Take it away.

You know the majority of the War was fought on the East side, right? Alas, one forgets that Russia had an equal hand in winning WWII with the United States, and endured far more casualties than the United States, Germany, and Japan combined. The only reason we are allies with Russia in the first place is our common enemy, Germany. Take America out of the situation and after Russia repels the Germans out of Russia they could give a flying pig slop what happened, as long as they defeated their enemy. Plus who would be left to fight those pesky Japanese in the pacific, surely not the Russians? I guess you forgot Japan and Itlay both were part of the Axis powers during WWII. Take America out and its basically a handful of allies and Russia. Meaning Russia fighting a 2 front war. America won the war with assistance from allied powers. Now about Russia these days, all i can tell right now is empty threats. Same thing went on and is going on with Iran. Just flexing their muscles, then the politics will come into play.

I think UGA is gonna slip up once or twice. AT South Carolina, AT Arizona St, AT LSU, AT Auburn. All potential losses. They have a BRUTAL schedule. Two easy games early on but then hit after hit. Thats why i don't see UGA winning it all or staying at #1. Although if they pull it off there will be no BCS questions about it. The ACC is full of talent, just gets no chance to shine from anyone outside of the ACC. FSU, Wake, VT, and GT are all loaded with talent and have had great recruiting classes. As well as Clemson. You should see a lot of noise from the ACC either this year or definitely next year in 2009. Loads of new coaching changes should be evident as well. Boston College returns a very stern and stout defense, even without Matt Ryan they should fair well. UNC will be breaking back onto the scene in the next couple of years as well. I take major offense. That flag represents the country me and my brothers and sisters in uniform have sworn to protect and put our life on the line to protect day in and day out for hundreds of years. Its disgusting someone would be willing to burn a flag for fun. Any flag for that matter no matter the country. I salute that flag twice a day so yes i take offense. Did you watch the Olympic opening ceremonies? Did you see how proud those countries were marching behind their flags? Its much more then a piece of fabric on a pole. If you want to burn a flag do it the right way. The respectful way and retire the flag. Disgusting you would do that, and then to post it on youtube. I think so yes. Yelling is harmless. Perhaps the kids should be more mature in the first place (in high school). Key word is supposed to. Unfortunately these days that is not the case, as seen by all the campus shootings over the past 10 years. Like it or not, they happen, and unfortunately they will continue to happen. All we can do is prepare ourselves. Personally i trust teachers more then a rent a cop security guard. The teachers are teaching because they want to help kids in the first place, lord knows the money isn't there. I'm sure there are rules as to when to pull the gun. A simple threat would not warrant the use of the gun. I'd think it would be only for life threatening situations, meaning another weapon is present.

And whos to say the teacher would announce it to the kids? Isn't that the whole point of it being concealed? Seriously people think before you react. A concealed weapon is concealed for a reason. Its so you don't go around like billy the kid or Wyatt Earp with a gun strapped to your hip. We arn't western gunslingers. I'd relate this to Air Marshals. You don't know who is one and who isn't. Their weapons are concealed and its not like they annonce their presence. The teachers will do the same. Its only an "in case" precaution. I.e. Break incase of fire sort of thing.

Eh idk i'm all for concealed carry and guns, but won't this just defeat part of the purpose of the School Resource Officers? For those that don't know, SRO's are police officers assigned to the school by the local police department (County in South Carolina's case) that are at school every day to deal with fights, weapons, etc. College campuses maybe yes teachers carrying guns might be ok. But at schools below that, i don't think its needed, especially if there is an SRO. In a case like that of the article, yes do it. 30mins from any police station, its needed. I think this would need to be determined on a case to case basis rather then wide spread general assumptions.

Clemson Tigers! Biggest game of opening week is in Atlanta Clemson vs Alabama! I'll be there for sure. I think the dawgs will have a good year this year. Worthy as #1? Not in my book, but i don't see any other team that could take the place now anyway so there they should stay until they lose. Clemson is going to be a force to be reckoned with for sure. I expect us to win the ACC this year as well as a BCS bowl. An underrated national champion hopeful as well. Clemson is probably one of the most talented teams at skill positions this year. Look for James Davis, Cullen Harper, and CJ Spiller to be on Heisman watch lists. We have the best 1 2 punch in college football this year. The Pac10, Big Ten, and Big Twelve are all jokes IMO. 1-2 teams that are consistent or close to consistent year in and year out. The SEC is hands down the best, and i seriously think the ACC is 2nd in line, and thats not because i am biased. Reguardless, football is NOTHING like it is in the South. Its by far the best atmosphere ever. Nothing can match southern football. College towns like Clemson and Athens are one of a kind. I HATE how the media puts Ohio State, USC, etc in the top 5 every year. Its just a media market, they don't deserve it IMO. I LIVE for College Football, its the one thing that keeps me sane in the fall. Nothing can beat it. Nothing. If its not football in the south, its hardly football. ;) For those on the outside looking in, college football in the south is a religion. Every Saturday you gather at hallowed, historic university grounds and tailgate HOURS before the game with friends you don't even know, all with anticipation building of the game. Its leaving 6-8 hours early thinking you will be able to slide right into your parking space only to find out that you are about 2 hours to late and the crowd is already there. Its the Swamp, the Death Valleys, the UGA mascots, the endless traditions going back 50+ years, the rubbing of magical rocks before you enter the stadium, and then into a stadium filled to capacity with 80,000 plus going crazy for every single game. Its about the bands and pregame, all building that anticipation up. You are born with an allegiance. Its either Clemson or South Carolina, Georgia or Georgia Tech, Mississippi or Mississippi St, Florida or Florida state. Rivlary runs deep here. Deeper then any Ohio State/Michigan could know and understand. Its hard fought trench warfare rivalries fought since years like 1893 or 1896. Fans down here feel dedicated to their team. States down south are not hosting major Pro football teams, its all college ball here. Whole states shut down during Rivalry week to watch the game, it determines who has bragging rights for the next 364 days. Swimming laps is always good too. Just remember muscle isn't built by breaking yourself off EVERY single day. Break yourself off 2-3 times a week, rest a day or so, then do it again. The whole point is to break the muscles so they come in stronger and more toned because they rebuild themselves. Get a variety of workouts as well.

First i've heard about it. Last thing i heard was something about a surge in Afghanland....perhaps it was going in support of that. I need a more credible source. Mix crunches and leg lifts. Flutter Kicks are probably the best. Legs straight outstretched 6inches off the deck at all times back flat on the deck maybe crunched up some to tighten the muscles, then just kick like you would when you are swimming. Keep legs straight and off the deck at all times. After you've done your set, hold the legs 6 inches off the deck for as long as you can. Always push yourself. Putting your hands under you, palms on the deck, behind on the top of your hands helps out. Like said in the thread, situps and crunches are only good if they are done right. Grab your biceps with each hand keep your arms against your stomach and go up. Forearm to thigh. Planks. Pushup position, but forearms on the deck. Clasp your hands or have them seperated, either works. Just hold yourself as long as possible, you will feel it in your midsection. All of these will give you muscle definition and core strength.

USA beat France in the men's 4x100 freesstyle relay! It was epic! Find a video if you didn't see it. Most nail biting moment yet, in my opinion. That was an amazing race. And that's coming from an Aussie (Australians came 3rd). Did I misread what the screen said, or was the world record beaten by like 4 seconds? You are correct, world record was basically shattered....by the first 5 teams too i do believe. All 5 teams beat the previous world record. Wow. That was a GREAT race. GO USA! :D

Lol. I'm done with this, Funcom is garbage. Tired of the bugs, graphical bugs, quest bugs, etc. Like i can't even open my bag and bank at the same time, one does not show any graphics. The economy is busted, the lag is HORRIBLE, servers are some of the most unstable i've ever played on in a game......its bad. Funcom doesn't help themselves when they refuse to look into this stuff. Sure a game doesn't get built in a day, but at least let your players know whats going on and that you are aware of your problems and flaws. Age of Conon holds a lot of good ideas, maybe some game in the future will take those ideas and run with them, making them work. I'm done with AoC and Funcom. I made it to level 60, and got bored.

Reguardless they are still working through EA, and EA sucks IMO. Again i'll have to wait for release. I'm not getting my hopes up for anymore MMO's ever again, it just leads to disappointment.
