That seems like a pretty good set up, but i would would get a copy of Adobe Photoshop for better quality and more convenient editing. When you use photoshop you can make transparent pictures of items that are easier to place where they belong to. Sony Vegas is pretty much the best, understandable movie editor, so stay with that. And i think your screen recorder is more than sufficient.

To be honest it is not smart to do that, you should actually sell all the herbs you gather and buy the herbs (or unfs) you need to train the most effective way, check grimy_bunyip's spreadsheets for gp/xp and xp/hr rates, try to get a good mix between cheap gp/xp and high xp/hr ;) I would also recommend getting yourself the dungeoneering reward called scroll of cleansing, it has saved/made me maybe 5-6 mil already. If you are making your own unfs you should use it, and it is also a good moneymaker!

Well I have to say I suspect the herb ingredients to keep slowly falling: as of now there come more and more bots which farm herbs (especially the sorcerers garden bots seem to be the new "hit" in botland). I'm rather sure Jagex will at some point stand up against the botters for real, lately they have been running live banning sessions at various popular bot sites, and a report at RSOF says that over 6000 accounts have been banned by this method very lately. I'd say get it now when its cheap, better safe than never.

There is a point to where a server can't be more reliable, because even though all fail safes are up and running, something that has never happened before, and therefore out of anyone's power to predict can happen. It can happen with every single provider. With facebook it is most often okay because they have distributed servers, but since the content there is a lot more static, it is of course easier to keep up 99.99%uptime.
