Now, I understand how some people do not really say it's that large of an "achievement". However, each person's definition of "achievement" is different, and personally, I think being the first 100k to be ranked is an achievement.

Wait, you can buy fractite arrows at comp 2? And I'll use the spinebeam longbow then, as accuracy and style is far important here than speed. And I'm guessing dragon is playing teams of 5 at a large dungeon, or co-op (2 people) on medium dungeons.

Hmm really? I guess I should switch to binding a fractite spear, then. Still, the longsword has the best slash... I like combining it with a warhammer. :P

I actually think that there shouldn't even be capes for individual skills. As someone stated earlier, it should be a cape with a "99" printed on it, and getting a 2nd one "trims" the cape. And with Dungeoneering out, probably a "gold trim" on the cape, along with the "99" replaced by "120"? I guess this solves the whole "noob cook/fletch" cape in members. :unsure:

Well, is there a way to get 125 fractite arrows? When I'm 50 Dungeoneering I'm binding a Spinebeam longbow, but I just want to know the easiest way. Also, should I use the fractite spear instead of the longsword? I heard the spear is the best weapon in Dungeoneering, but then it's two-handed and it's not the most accurate wep out there... Oh and is the longbow better than the shortbow, since it got a speed & accuracy increase?

I don't like where the start button is located on the original DS though... D:

Seconded^ Dungeoneering is awesome, you should try it.

In F2P, I'd rather go for a combo, like longsword/battleaxe, or longsword/warhammer, than just the spear itself. Speed 5 weapons are generally the best, which includes the above 4 weapons. This depends on what you want though. Longsword - Best stab, best slash, second best strength. Battleaxe - Second-best slash, second-best crush, best strength. Warhammer - Best crush. Spear - All 3 attack styles, but not best in anything, and it's two-handed.

So I hear they only implemented these member doors, 100+ doors, and member puzzles because they want F2P to see what it was like to be members? Ok, that just crossed the line there. Jagex, if you really think that, why don't you give us back gnomecopters then? I guess Jagex's one-way mind is also the reason why Fletching isn't F2P (and therefore make Ranged/Magic equal in Dungeoneering).

I already stated, the degraded versions are buyable from the GE. And I also stated, it is worth it to play FOG, so don't limit yourself by not experiencing these minigames.

That pure can just be skilling/leeching/opening doors/whatever on a 5-man team, large dungeon. That way, he doesn't have to gain so much combat exp and can gain loads of dungeoneering exp at the same time.

Rune full helm Rune platebody Rune platelegs Rune kiteshield OR berserker 0 (this is buyable from GE) (Degraded) rune gauntlets (also buyable from GE) Rune scimitar Amulet of power Fancy/Fighting boots Explorer's Ring 3 Any cape (team cape is preferable) THAT is the most effective melee setup. And longsword > rapier. And playing Fist of Guthix IS worth the time for rune gauntlets.

Well, it's nice to see that you have a nice life now. However, is it really THAT hard to limit your RS playtime? I can manage my social life, get exceptionally good grades, and be athletic the same time as I play Runescape (and I play a lot, mind you). Unfortunately I'm not at the "romantically involved" stage but very few in my grade are at this point anyway.

A lot of my classmates are retired, and they say Runescape sucks, it's graphic fails, it's old game, etc etc etc. One even said it was a "20th century game". :blink: Really, retired people, stop thinking your opinions are superior to ours. If anything, your opinions are inferior, since you guys do not play the game anymore and do not know what is currently happening.

What exactly is the "best" weapon type, then? (Unless there's no best...) I'm guessing the longsword is the best 1-handed weapon, and the spear the best 2-handed weapon.

I know that weapons like the longsword and spear had their stats buffed big time, but wow, never knew that these weapons have increased speed. :blink: Yay, finally more balance and usefulness. Dagger - Stab based, class 6, can be poisoned. Rapier - Stab based, class 6, more powerful but cannot be poisoned. Longsword - Stab/Slash based, class 5, significantly better stats than dagger/rapier, best weapon to use imo. Battleaxe - Slash/Crush based, class 5, are the stats nerfed or something? Warhammer - Crush based, class 5, only one attack style but strength is buffed. Spear - All attack styles, class 5, two-handed though. Maul - Crush based, class 4, high strength, better crush. 2h sword - Slash/Crush based, class 4, high strength as well. Am I right?

Usually, when a new skill is released, you can't train that skill with lamps, tears of guthix, etc. Just train the skill, lol. It's really fun. :thumbsup: Oh and you can use your Dungeoneering tokens to "buy" exp, at the rate for 1 exp per token.

Yeah, it varies from level to level (which is why I put a range of likely numbers there). This applies to all levels that you profit from. I'm not exactly sure how to explain it, but the max number I put on there is assuming that's the profit for 4x earths.

The behemoth apparently uses a ranged attack (he fires rock-thingies from his mouth), so it's best to use protect from ranged. I might be wrong however. Does he use a melee attack or not?

Woot, today I got another one of them not-so-big achievements: all skills (except Prayer) 60+! (The reason why I don't want to do Pray is because of combat levels. In case you were wondering what I have bounded, I now bound a spinebeam longbow, a fire staff, and 125 fractite arrows. For the fractite spear, I can just pick up coin drops or mine fractite rocks and smith the spear.
