I really agree with the first article written. So many people are complaining over how completionist cape (t) is so hard to get. Well guess what. That's why they are called achievements. They are not meant to be easy to get in the first place. Hopefully, the ranting would die down in the future.

I fail to see how any of the points listed in the OP or any posts are a bad thing. It's the world, we are bound to be sexually active by nature. (I know, right? <_< ) Restricting it is basically saying you can't have fun anymore. Lol. Also, while e-dating may have its risks, it works for some people so let them be. In regards to this whole offensive username thing, let them be as well, don't let us become a nuisance to these said players. Just my one cent.

Actually if you tab you can increase the xp/hr, but getting the tabs takes too long for tabs to be viable.

Why do you recommend superheating iron over gold? Gold gives more smithing xp per superheat.

Interesting, will check on the vexillums. However, I don't have the tokens for tabs as I wasted them all on water talismans :P and for some reason I always lag out during GOP so I can't get anymore. I'll probably do a time trial in regards to which teleport is closer to which bank. To be honest, one should use the explorer's ring 3 to craft water runes anyway. At current prices it's just not worth doing.

Gambling at the moment should be banned. Although it may appear to be legit, you never know if the person that is hosting is being a scammer or not, therefore falling under the "trust trades" category. I myself think it is silly anyway. Staking should be the only form of legit gambling, and should be kept at that.

The thing is, however, the main strategy for soloing (keying/fighting in particular) remains more or less the same. Will you key any different in a solo besides the lack of teammates? Will monster weaknesses be any different? Stuff like that. Speaking about the playing highest floor of each type many times, I plan to cover that more in the miscellaneous tips and tricks section, haha :P of course you don't have to do this if you're lazy, but doing so gives slightly more prestige xp at the expense of harder monsters/bosses.

Reposting. In regards to magic training via combat, fire bolt/blast with the magical blastbox beats water bolt/blast with the tome of frost. Runes, especially elemental ones, barely cost anything nowadays, so conserving air runes doesn't matter. (Although, using the blastbox DOES conserve an air rune with fire spells...) Add that to the extra damage every 5 hits. Definitely worth using in my opinion. Also, gratz on your 15th 99 Isthatok! :thumbsup: When will you finish up rc, btw?

If you want to get P2P right now, go right ahead. Unless you're like me, went P2P with a broke bank and couldn't do anything much lol. Ended up not enjoying it. But I'm sure you will. P2P is a new and wonderful experience for anybody, so go right ahead! :thumbup:

Another mystery of mine: regarding the spear it seems to have a rather low slash/crush compared to other weapons. Does the versatility of the spear make up for the low accuracy? Or would it be better to bind a battleaxe/2h as a secondary for this? If they are still inferior, and there really are no other options, I guess a plate will have to do for my 3rd.

F2P larges with w7 randoms can take a REALLY long time, especially when 1 or 2 ragequit. Believe me that is why I avoid that world like the plague now... In regards to the skeletal horde it hasn't been that much of a problem for me either. Remember that the skeletons have half health and significantly lowered defense. Also, after 6 deaths the death penalty no longer increases, so from there you should just keep suiciding until boss ends.

Exactly what I'm wondering. But I'm guessing since they're so level, binding a plate REALLY makes a difference, lol. By the way, I hear that ranged can do some serious output with a shortbow at 90+-99. Not sure if this is really true though.

In the plate's defense though, it's only -6 magic. It's probably not as different as if it were 0 magic (what you would be if you no armor freak like me). I have the same binds as you actually. Though, I may need to improve on both my melee and ranged stats to use these weapons more effectively.

What about bosses? Is the shortbow's speed still overrides the longbow's accuracy versus them?

@Fire_Hawk: Sure, the shortbow is only comparable to willow, but the longbow is comparable to magic. Would that be a more effective bind over the shortbow, thanks to its accuracy? Or at 99 ranged, speed DPSing is more important? @Nuffbutmage: Chee knows what he is talking about. P2P have harder monsters than F2P, and when he says even primal plate is not helpful there, it means something... It's not to say we don't appreciate your advice. In fact, I have already stated that since you're w61ers you guys probably aren't kidding with the platebody. It's just that ideally you want the best DPSing binds. Isthatok is max combats so obviously armor isn't going to help him much. Speaking of which, dung is an endgame skill. It always favors those that are higher leveled. That is why I have this certain motive to get max combats as part of my goals.

Probably gonna have to ask Isthatok for his insight on this. He's one of the few w61ers who seem to be against the notion of a platebody bind as well. I'm still really confused :/ I've always been an offense-offense-offense dude. Being a suicide DPSer as well, it just adds to this.

High level combats usually bind a melee weapon (spear usually) as well as a different combat style. The setup is either cata/firestaff + blastbox or shortbow/longbow + arrows. I'm not at that point yet, but apparently very high ranged (90+) rapes monsters especially with a shortbow. The point of binding ranged/mage is because f2p cannot normally craft these items in a large. They can only get it via c1.
