Using protect/deflect magic helps somewhat, it causes him to only use the grey sludge attack (which is magic based anyway) and the portals (which you should run away from). If you have a high enough prayer, you can survive for pretty long without taking damage. It drains prayer though, but even then just keep praying.

This is how I interpret it. "lol" = laugh out loud "L" = laugh So by only saying L you're not laughing out loud, you're just laughing. Can be taken in whatever context. I may be horribly wrong, but meh.

Just wondering, why isn't all mounted heads (basilisk, abyssal demon, kbd, kq, a few others) also part of this requirement? The heads are pretty rare drops, after all.

Well, if an unopened door is on the boundaries (edges) of a map, it is likely to be a dead end. Other than that though, it's pretty randomized as far as I can tell.

I can vouch for this. During an hour of iron mining near the resource dungeon bank deposit box, I only saw like 1 other person come to mine the adamant rocks nearby. The only con is random events, but most of these are really obvious ones like picking the odd one out. And it's not even a con if you do understand a language (I still remember bits and pieces of French, lol). Only other con is slow spawns. Can greatly affect xp/hr when mining.

Again, I fail to see how +5 defense gives an unbalanced disadvantage, when full rune already gives so much defense to nearly all f2p monsters.

Why would you kill a dino anyway? The better way is to trap the dino so you can get useful hides out of them. But yes, dinos don't affect xp gains in any way. They're treated like resources, just like mining rocks and fishing spots.

My solution: Make it so that level mod goes up to +25% instead of +10%. Makes more room for getting more xp per monster killed, and actually get penalized LESS for rushing (because of the increased percentage range). Hopefully that would be fairly significant.

Unfortunately the level 10-90 capes give zero stats, and the veterans and RSC capes give pretty bad stats too. Only the max/completionist capes have stats worth going for.

This is why dailies are awesome.

How about primal boots? Don't those give strength bonus similar to gauntlets as well? Or is it less? Can't wait to see a 4th bind guide in addition to this one. :thumbup: But not many people have that yet :P

You can play Great Orb Project with newbs in f2p if you really want to :lol: But otherwise, the poster above me covered things to do, mainly iron mining but meh.

I share the same views as you actually, Water. Even though I won't be going members anytime soon, tons out there probably will, and it's only fair that we as a whole help members make decisions as well. |^_^| In my opinion, any other update for f2p is simply a bonus. I'm content with what I have in f2p Runescape (if I wasn't I would have quit already).
