  1. Like I said, fun is subjective. It might mean you find what you're currently doing to be fun (like slayer, skilling), or it can be because of what you can do after you reach the goal that you're striving efficiency for (high dungeoneering, bosshunting). Although people may not find certain efficient training methods to be fun, others do. Like I said this is opinionated. Playing for fun doesn't mean you're playing to be efficient. As stated earlier efficiency involves objective figures. So, you can be chillaxing training skills but realize your method is inefficient, regardless of what you think of it. It's people who don't look at it at an objective point of view that causes problems. And true, there is no right or wrong method to playing the game. In the end, it's up to you.
  2. Thumbs up for me. Most updates released this year impressed me, especially seeing I'm a free player. Artisan's Workshop, free trade and wildy, profanity filter, and now the new clans. Lovin' it.
  3. Most monsters in dg that are weak to magic don't require much magic offense to kill in the first place. Prime example being forgotten warriors, I don't think I've ever missed on them using magic, even with the primal ones.
  4. Meh, I'm just tired of all these people arguing fun vs efficiency and all these anti-efficiency trolls. <_< Haters be hatin', I guess. EDIT: I'm not telling people that they can't have fun while playing. My point is that while playing efficient can be fun, playing fun doesn't always mean efficient.
  5. Classic case of something being so bad, it's so good. <_< Gosh. Nothing else can possibly hit rock bottom. She's like a Justin Bieber that's actually female.
  6. Look, can we just put an end to all this? -.- Fun is subjective. One may find clicking the same rock over and over again fun. Another may consider getting good amounts of experience increases in a span of time is fun. It doesn't matter if someone finds any particular thing to do fun. There is no definite answer to fun so might as well forget about it when talking about a game where you GRIND your skills for max rates. Efficiency however is objective. It doesn't matter if you find method A to be more preferable over method B, what matters is that method B is OBJECTIVELY better than method A. Fun and other opinionated factors does NOT come into play! If people learn to face facts and figures without all these kinds of disagreements, we wouldn't even be arguing over this. It doesn't matter if you find something to be fun - what matters is that Word of God is there and you just need to accept that.

Maybe he just has stubbornness vs levers. Just because he doesn't know how to effectively do one puzzle (which is more of a grammatical problem, to be honest) doesn't mean he is unwilling to learn. Also levers aren't a very common puzzle.
  8. Where the heck did you get so many brews lol.
  9. For the Artisans Workshop, I'd rather spend much longer time making iron ingot 1 with the xp boost than shelling out lots of unnecessary mils for the other ingots. You get no money for doing this. And since most moneymakers in f2p have crashed recently I don't wanna be a poor man again ;_;

If you're soloing, do not, and I really mean DO NOT bother to make armor. Same goes for food, food drops should be sufficient. Monsters in solo are way easier than in teams. That's the only tips I can give for now. Might also want to go for surgebox too, but that requires 70 rcing.
  11. It's that time of year again! SEGA and Sonic Team have announced Sonic Generations, their working title for the 20th Anniversary! [hide=Screenshots] [/hide] [hide=Videos]Teaser trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6l6-JpmenhQ Gameplay teaser: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tV1Osnkr5Nc Gameplay footage + interview: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zmN0Z6GAfj0 Extended gameplay footage: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wuj-6T_ymqg Gameplay footage + interview 2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jiweIw8GBsA Full Modern Level http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CuqCzlu4rqA[/hide] What people know about so far: -Classic Sonic is in this game! -Remember the daytime levels in Unleashed and the platforming in Colors? Modern Sonic's levels uses elements from these. -Seems like Classic Sonic gameplay really is like Classic Sonic this time. Even the tiniest details are like this! -Old levels from Sonic 1, 2, 3&K, and Adventures 1 and 2 will have remakes in this game as well. -This is only available on the HD consoles (PS3/Xbox360) as seen from the trailer. Sorry Wii fans :( -This is also available for the 3DS for all you Nintendo fans, and it seems like it would be ported to Project Cafe as well. -Seems like other characters like Tails, Knuckles and Shadow will make appearances too. In addition to this, there are other Sonic titles in development as well. Sonic 4 episode 2, Sonic 3DS, and the new Mario & Sonic. Nothing is released for these, though. With the recent successes of Sonic 4 and Sonic Colors, this can only get better from here. :D So what are your thoughts? What do you guys want in this game? What will be in it? Speculation time! inb4haterz
  12. We have cookiez. :3 And yes you should definitely give it a try, you'll be surprised at how much time you'll save by using the best methods to whatever skill.
  13. The top floor is the only place worth doing (burial armor room). The bottom floor is tracks which is extremely slow xp. And yes, making the items that you're supposed to make gives you a 10% bonus in experience. I personally do it because I want to maximize experience gain per iron bar. Besides, you only need to switch every 7 items or so. Don't forget your golden hammer as well!
  14. 69................. one of the queerest, yet most interesting aspects of life.
  15. What exactly happened with your spreadsheet guide in AoW? Why was it removed?
  16. Youmu replied to ghjkl's topic in Rants
This. Also, I like how most worlds have little to no people in the wilderness, especially in f2p. Allows me to do things in the wildy far easier :D
  17. Really? Efficiency trolls? Then you can say I'm one of "those" people as well, just on a different aspect of the game. I just don't see how people can not play efficient. Leveling your skills and making money takes tons of time in members, even more in f2p. By using the best methods to reach high levels and cashpiles, you not only are able to become better in a shorter amount of time, but are also able to save time. By saving time in real life, you have more time to do other things. Irl > game, so make the most out of your game time and understand that you NEED a balance in real life time as well. Like somebody said a long time ago, efficiency overload is not the problem. Anti-efficiency is. Efficiency for life. ;)
  18. I want my clan members to be nice to chat to. After all, what's the point in being a member of a clan if you're just gonna be silent all the way through? Also they need to have at least some knowledge of the overall game. Right now, the clan I'm in fits both my criterias. :P
  19. 40k botters on at a time still seems pretty incredible to me. I say 20k bots is more accurate. I doubt the total number of bots break the 120k figure either. There are bots, yes, but not THAT many.
  20. Once again Toad is correct with his guesses. Thank god the crashing and stuff is over with RS. Though the new hiscores is still hella glitchy.
  21. In free play it's 120 dung, no question. Wait, it's about 99's? Then 99 prayer, no question.
  22. It's update day, usually the bots are devoid then. Also, the recent clan changes brought some pretty major changes to how the game and even the site is scripted. So, I suspect there won't be much bots for a few days.
  23. OHHHHHH. Sorry I kinda misread the topic title >.< Anyways, I don't think this is a good idea, especially if the items themselves are temporary. Runescape is known for its cheap gaming prices and everything available at the buy of membership. Don't go the road of other games where you need to pay cash for items.
  24. This, but even big bones and accursed ashes have slightly dropped. As for the other moneymakers yeah, since free trade most methods I know have massively crashed, the only exception being GOP water talismans, for some reason. :???:
  25. Friends hiscores are also glitched, just saying :/
