Auto log out.
The 5 minute autolog is there for people who idle, so they won't take up server space. The 6 hour autolog is to ensure botters don't just keep working all night long. I personally don't find any reason to play 6 hours in a row anyway, and I don't AFK skill, so neither of these affect me.

18-Feb-2011 - You brought back the Wildynow you can prove it!
This. Haters gonna hate. I don't use Facebook either, so it doesn't affect me.

The F2P General Discussion Thread
How much money do accursed ashes sell for? Is it cheaper than big bones? Also, yay for f2p canoes, finally a nice way to return to Edge after dying from pking ^^

Sonic - rip blogging
A friend of mine who has quit Runescape recently decided to give me full Zamorak armor as his leaving gift for me. Hello free 2.5m cash. (But I promised, if he ever came back I'm buying it back for him in an instant, even though he doesn't care.)

Food drops in a dungeon.
Don't forget: food drops by monsters also loosely follow a rule with armor/weapons on table (not food, ironically enough). Food drops never go above salve eel (tier 8) when dropped by a monster. This has something to do with a certain level (cooking? combat? hitpoints? dunno which) being 20 levels higher than the required tier to start receiving it as drops. Since the max level is 99, you don't get anything higher than this. It's predetermined too so boosters don't work. Just throwing that out there. But yeah, assuming you have 99 in that required skill, monsters of any level can drop anything tier 1-8, at any amount. A 200+ may drop very low tiered food or even nothing while a 4 can drop tons of salves on the ground.

The botting still persists
Well if there's one bright side with bots, it's that they're way more stupid than your average person. That's why people now lure bots to their death and steal their stuff

Clanwars the most dangerous place on RS
This. Out with dangerous FFA already, the longer it's there the more people will follow this vid and do the exact same thing <_< Wished there are 1 or 2 PvP worlds back though, I liked it when the entire landscape was PvP-able.

Well for prayer I guess I would just do my best to train as much as I could, which means using all lamps on it and burying all bones I see. Oh and get the most out of prayer experience in dungeoneering as well. I'm gonna do as much as I can to avoid spending much money on it at all. That graveyard, you mean the bone yard yes? It's back with the new wildy update, it's at where clan wars used to be. Maybe I'll go there and bury some big bones if I have the time. Oh and...

Has Runescape "Jumped the Shark"?
Runescape hasn't reached its peak yet, lol. If anything it's starting to get even better thanks to the updates now.

09-Feb-2011 Prisoner of Glouphrie and Gnome Graphical Rework
I could care less about the profanity filter, but I decided to turn mine off simply because it can be a nuisance sometimes. Other than that nothing out of the ordinary here. A good update week

Yea I bribed the iron scimitar dude to let me win cuz with a max hit of 16 he won't anyways. Yeah I did it for real, this guy used an iron scimitar to try and kill me. I just ran around the rocks near the center so he couldn't attack me, easy 5k  Oh and:

Just the opposite
I understand where you're coming from, and no it's not really your fault, it's because of recent glitches in the Duel Arena. Though if I were you I would never ever stake to make cash. It's just too risky in my opinion.

Getting Pked when I have nothing of value.
This. Some people just like to pk anybody they see for lulz, sadly.

f2p vs p2p dung
...are you both serious :| Anyways it's not really worth playing dungeoneering in members at your combat stats. In free play your stats are fine, but are you a 40 def pure? If not, bind a fractite spear as a melee bind. 2nd bind can also be spinebeam longbow + fractite arrows depending on how much you value ranged. But you have a fire staff + blastbox bound, so go with it.

anyone else sick of free trade whiners?
Agreed. Botters will always be there. It's fun to lure them to their deaths though. *looks at Crafting guild bot lures* Only complete idiots would fall for scams and lures, those whiners included.

Tip.It Times - 6th February 2011
Both articles are good, and I'm glad you (Stormrage) took the time to honestly voice your opinion. However, even though these problems you mentioned do exist, they don't really affect me in any way, so there aren't that much negatives with free trade. Scammers and lurers? I'm actually not a complete idiot, so I don't fall for these scams. Bank wipes? Those people botted, they got what they deserved. Staking entire banks only losing to a glitch? Sure the glitch part is unreasonable, but who in their right mind would stake their whole bank anyway? I for one am happy free trade and old wilderness came back. I wasn't here pre-wildy so I'm not able to experience these before.

Dungeoneering's Impact on the Community at Large
I agree, something really needs to be done with w117/w148/w7. The best solution is to fix the problem at hand, not ignore it. This is why I am still willing to do large floors with randoms for about 1 hour each...
-
Thank you, your abuse report has been received.
Umm, scamming and luring is to be expected now that there's free trade. If one gets scammed/lured, or fails to do so, it's their own stupidity. Has nothing to do with Jagex.

rune gauntlets, berserker shield and gravite weapons.
No one mentioned the gravite staff/bow? Anyways my take is yes to the staff, no to the bow. Magic is your favorite skill correct? The staff gives a +5% damage bonus which, combined with the arcane blast necklace and magical blastbox, can do quite a bit of dps with magic.
