He'll probably get a ban if he does that, or certainly a mute from some P-mod. Kinda ridiculous tbh. I mean, okay, there are reasons people wouldn't want Req Assist off at the GE. But banning seems a bit much (at least week/month/perm bans, that is), and muting wouldn't do crap. Either way, though, not a good idea - Maybe any place but the trade worlds? :P

"Viva La Vida" by Coldplay - it says it next to the video description (you can get there by double-clicking the video, or clicking the YouTube logo at the bottom-right).

There was an area, but I can't seem to find it. The admins/mods might have removed it. Slightly remember them merging pk videos into this area and pk pictures into the huge picture thread. (Found here: http://forum.tip.it/...nd-sounds-here/) The PK area might be there somewhere, but I wasn't able to find it. Closest I was able to find was the Clan area: http://forum.tip.it/forum/158-clans/ (3 subforums if you follow that link). Hope that helps at all. :P I find it ironic they would remove a section of the forum titled "The Graveyard" :P

I don't feel like making anything for the time being, but the kit you have (made by Beeboy... By the way, next time don't remove the credits from kits you find) is ages old. I've made a significantly more updated one:

I'm *guessing* that must've been made by Laieta :) http://forums.zybez.net/topic/1386775-artists-dancing-in-pink/ (Sorry to link thread from another forum; that's where I originally saw that image a while back) Laieta made the project, but each artist drew themselves respectively.

A compilation of the better half of my Fakes/Animations
WolfieMario replied to WolfieMario's topic in RuneScape Media
Glad you guys like it :D I thought I'd mention something - while I was editing this together, I decided to mess around with the speed slider in Premiere. I played part of my vid very fast, and realized that the RuneScape song "Rising Damp" seems to become an epic boss battle theme at 2x speed  The original, unedited version: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L1a_V2SL3EU -
I mainly made this for my subscribers (Jagex featured me on their Facebook, and so did Excl (if indirectly)), but I thought I'd post it here anyhow. If you've browsed my website a lot, odds are nothing in this will be new and this will just waste 17 minutes of your life. Otherwise, if you've never been to my site and only seen the topics I've posted here, there may be a few new things for you to see :P Needless to say, I didn't include any of my previous videos in there, or any works-in-progress that I intend to finish at a later date (namely, those Orbs of Oculi).
-
Woot! I was so confused today when my email got spammed with subscription messages :XD: Guess what? Excl also posted about it on Fb: I feel kinda bad about that, having been in the same shoe quite a few times
-
I know, I was just joking :P That doesn't make the Cake of Jas idea any less epic  Of course, after labeling that image, I can no longer un-see it
-
Glad I'm not the only one who thought those look as delicious as they do awesome :XD: But yeah, probably non-edible :P I'm intrigued at how you managed to pull off the bark texture so well - that and your other examples of "texturing" also put this beyond most clay sculptures I've seen  EDIT: You won the RuneFest gallery right? Suggest to Jagex for them to make a Stone of Jas dessert for RuneFest: That would be pure win :XD:

Yeah trim looks like it was in rsc And this is not rsof or zybez or some heavily trolled forum so you dont have to worry about getting banned because somebody doesnt know the difference between photo editing and 1337 haxx0r5. :) To be fair, Zybez forumers tend to assume something was edited before they assume it was hacked (even in the cases that hacking would have been easier, e.g. fake items/quantities in a video via Cheatengine). There's kind of a big suspicion of any unusual/unlikely pic being fake :P But yeah, that's true for RSOF - most people there would immediately shout "Omg private server"

I'm guessing it's the second option. They don't look bad to me, although I never even got to see the battlefield or editor before my clan threw me out for inactivity. This part of the forum is pretty slow, and most the people around here look for artistic stuff (e.g. fan art, papercrafts, animations, etc.). That's why stuff like guides and gameplay videos almost never get comments here. Though the battlefield editor actually leans far more towards the creative side, so normally I would expect a topic like this to get some comments. I personally don't know anything about the battlefield editor, having never seen it myself, so I can't really offer any comment on your maps (I barely know what I'm looking at :P), though some do look intricate and nice. You may try asking a moderator if they could move this to General Discussion, and ask if it could be changed to a "Show off your clan citadel battlefield designs" or something. Then you'd be very likely to see other people posting, though (of course) not everybody will be commenting about your battlefields. I guess it could also be moved to General as-is, but it probably wouldn't stay afloat too long there (though at least you'd get some comments :P)

Glad you guys like it :D I always imagined that the citadels float around slowly, and aren't always in the same spot. That means there can be a bloody battle worth selling tickets for each week or so :P Yeah, I can't kill my own character

For a first in 3D, that's great . You should've seen my first :XD: The only real problem I see with the modeling is that the gnome looks a little lopsided :P (mainly the thick neck and the lower part of his shirt) Are you using Blender? Features like Proportional Editing (O key in editmode, and also a menu at the bottom of the 3D window) and Sculpt Mode can help you clear that up. And if you aren't using Blender, what did you use? I take it the winner was painted in? Was the podium also painted, or modeled? Also, one last thing - I would have rotated the leftmost and rightmost rectangular trophies a little: mainly so their bases would form a neat arc with the bases of everything else there. Anyways, great work as always :)

Thanks guys; glad you liked it

I made a new background for my YouTube channel, and I thought I'd post it here for c/c. You can see it below, at my channel: http://www.youtube.com/user/Deretythe Basically everything in the background is a reference to one of my videos (and some reference videos I've yet to make!), and each of my videos is referenced at least once. Sorry for the JPEG quality; YouTube limits backgrounds to 256k JPEGs <_< . You can see an uncompressed PNG here: http://img543.imageshack.us/img543/9393/videosbackground5flat.png Anyways, I hope this is an OK place to post about it. I put quite a bit of time into making this; even though I was able to reuse some 3D objects from my videos, I had to do some corrections to older models and make some new models specifically for the background. For those of you wondering, yes, most of it is in 3D. Basically everything except the background parts (the silver/gray "wall" my channel rests on) and the logo at the top-left. Even the bluish flames on the sword my character holds are actual particles in 3D (meaning Jagex could do something like that in-game, if they didn't get lazy and it wouldn't lag older comps ). There were some edits I did to make the 3D things look better than they would in pure 3D (such as blurring the glow of my character's amulets and blurring the blue flames that pass through my character's hand), but most of it is 3D :) For anybody who can't see the full thing, rightclick the background and hit "View background image", zoom out, or just click the link above for the PNG version.

Okay guys, I finally added those Easter-egg images. Enjoy! :) -
[Easter-eggs] " Kitty ", My Golden Gnomes 2011 Entry
WolfieMario replied to WolfieMario's topic in RuneScape Media
(Sorry for double-post; not sure if that's a problem at this forum) Has anybody looked for the Easter-eggs? Someone at another forum managed to find a whole lot. Hint: look at the walls of various rooms. Anyways, I may reveal the Easter-eggs later today or sometime tomorrow. -
[Easter-eggs] " Kitty ", My Golden Gnomes 2011 Entry
WolfieMario replied to WolfieMario's topic in RuneScape Media
That was the sound of the fireplace, taken from the sound of fire in RS :P -
My Golden Gnomes 2011 entry: It's a 3D animation that took me roughly 169 hours. It has a dark, creepy theme because the idea was originally meant as a Halloween video. Actually, if I'm a finalist, my entry would end up being shown a day or two before Halloween at RuneFest, so that would work out perfectly :XD: You can look at the YouTube description for details on how I made it, and the credits. For those of you who know my contest where you find secrets or figure out references in my videos and screenshot fakes... Well, I'm not including my contest for this video. That doesn't mean I neglected to put in a few Easter eggs anyways, of course :P. You can feel free to look for them yourself, or just check the spoiler below, where I provide images of all of them:

"You know you are addicted to Rs when..." *looks at OP's signature* That actually worked out perfectly  (I haven't got any t-shirt ideas atm)

Seeking male voice actor for Golden Gnomes entry
WolfieMario replied to WolfieMario's topic in Help and Advice
On Skype with me will be fine. I have a call recording program to capture the voice acting :^_^: I'll PM you on Tip.It with the lines and plot summary so you know the tone of the video, and I'll try to get ahold of you ingame  -
Second image is spoilered, because (1) it's a spoiler, and (2) some may consider it a bit violent and may not want to see: About the role: The role is a male cat named Kitty. He only has two spoken lines at the very end of the video, though he plays a major role throughout the video. Your voice does not have to sound cat-like in the slightest; an ordinary voice will do. The lines range from sadistically mocking to vengeful vindication. You will also need to laugh, in a vaguely evil or mean way. You can offer to apply in this thread; the only things you need are a microphone and Skype (which you can download for free). Since I have no way of knowing who's a good voice actor just by their post, I'll accept multiple offers and record with as many people that apply. I'll choose whoever was the best for the part, but I'll also make an honorable mention in the video description of all people who didn't get chosen (if I forget to do this, please smack me with a rubber chicken and kindly remind me). The deadline to post here about being a voice actor is August 5th, because Jagex isn't accepting entries any later than August 14th midnight (GMT), and I'll need some time to record with you, add your acting into the video, and render the whole thing. When you apply, please say what times and days you're available for recording! The recording may take anywhere between 5 and 20 minutes, depending on circumstances. My time zone is GMT -5, but I think my schedule is flexible enough to record with people in most of Europe and the US. My YouTube channel is Deretythe; you can see some of my vids if you're not sure whether or not I have a chance. *Edit* Also, I just realized I may end up getting a lot of offers - I already got 4 overnight (amongst the three forums this is at) :P. So once I have recorded with 15 people, I am not accepting any more entrants! This is just so I don't have to be on Skype 24/7, so if you want to try being the voice actor you should post as soon as you can :^_^: In the spoiler is information about my video, the idea behind it, and how I'm going to make it. This should answer any questions that the above images may have given you. If you sign up to be a voice actor, you'll get to see the whole script, spoilers and all, since you'll be better off knowing what's going on :P. Also, your lines are at the very, very end, so it's not like I can keep anything a secret from you then :P. No, you won't have to read the full script, I can sum that up for you.

Practice caution when handling a glass sword
WolfieMario replied to WolfieMario's topic in Art and Media
I've never played Morrowind, but I've seen a video of similar glass swords in Oblivion (which I've also never played).
