Y U no Golden Gnomes?
Hmm, I think I'll still put mine in its own thread. Once it gets done at the last minute XD But yeah, all of them in the same thread would be annoying, since they'd be spaced apart by comments and not everybody's gonna scroll to the bottom of the page to check out an entry. I don't think a lot of people will post their GG's in this part of the board anyhow; usually they just post it in the massive Screenshots and Videos thread in General Discussion. But people who want CC/advice/comments would post in this section of the forum. As I said before, I still love listening to this one :P

Practice caution when handling a glass sword
Tbh you can learn loads just from reading online tutorials or watching videos :P I took a Blender class and I learned less there than I did from finding tutorials on my own online XD The problem is all the tutorials are old and none of the buttons match the locations of the old ones. All tutorials are old? I beg to differ :P. Just say "Blender 2.5" instead of just "Blender". All versions of the 2.5x series are almost identical and have the same shortcuts. For that matter, most versions of Blender up until 2.5 were very similar to each other as well. 2.5 involved a major rewrite of the code and re-development of the interface, which is why anything after 2.5 is so different. Also, fortunately, the official Blender Wiki 2.5 Manual is nearing completion, so you can look at that as your reference-guide/cheat-sheet for help: http://wiki.blender.org/index.php/Doc:2.5/Manual But as I said, sticking a "2.5" in your searches will help you find everything you need :P

Practice caution when handling a glass sword
Okay, I'll try something like the above. First I did what I said in my other post: I think the yellow really helped the contrast, at least. And I was using Blender's "Marble" procedural texture, but yeah, basically the same thing :P EDIT: Hmm, I used a total of 8 procedural textures, and ended up with this: Some are mapped to specularity and one is mapped to normals. I still wasn't able to replicate that DeviantArt marble texture you linked... I guess the end result is still more realistic than before, but I kinda liked the look of that stereotypical faux-marble.

Practice caution when handling a glass sword
Hmm, any ideas? I'd be happy to improve it, even though that means procrastinating my Golden Gnomes entry even more . If I literally make the floor contrast more heavily (e.g. make the darkest parts practically black), then the sword would get even more lost . I had a hard time getting the sword to be both decently visible and still look almost like real glass. Maybe I could get the marble to be faintly more yellowish, such as this? The glass is faintly bluish to emphasize its crystal-like appearance. If the floor were slightly yellow like that, it may help add contrast a bit. I could also add some slight imperfections into the floor, though I'm not sure if that would help the sword. What do you think? Tbh you can learn loads just from reading online tutorials or watching videos :P I took a Blender class and I learned less there than I did from finding tutorials on my own online XD This. I learned almost everything I know of Blender from watching tuts and screwing around. The only exception is a few questions that Mino-Tauros and the BlenderArtists forums answered for me. Hell, I even ended up teaching my graphics teacher and a few friends of mine the basics of it

Practice caution when handling a glass sword
Nothing too special here... I got a random inspiration and went with it. I only spent a day on it, though it would have taken much longer if I didn't know about Blender's boolean modifiers. I know the cracking isn't realistic (you'd expect the blade, if anything, to be completely shattered, and the hilt would be more likely to only get chipped). However, I thought it would look much more appealing if I threw away realism - I mean, if you actually dropped a glass sword like that onto a marble floor, it wouldn't even look like a sword anymore :P EDIT: I took some of tripsis's advice and made some modifications: V2: V3:

Cartoon Crab 6 Leg walk Deep Underwater 3D Animation
Aside from some sudden snapping movements in claw rotation (which the IPO/graph editor could help you fix), this is pretty good :) I'm curious - how did you animate the lively corals and plants in the background? Did you use armatures, shapekeys, lattices, hooks, or something else? Good luck with your project

Ha ha I lolled
This was posted a while back at Zybez, shortly after the time the image was created. People couldn't find any record of it in MMH's posts, and it was so recent at the time that the page 51 monster couldn't have come close to touching it (honestly, for a topic with a J-mod saying something like that, wouldn't you think it would get a load of posts immediately after?). Someone pointed out MMH's last post was May 9th at the time (whereas this is dated the 31st, and this observation was made on June 8th). They also mentioned that the British spelling of rumor is "rumour". Personally, I also think its fake because the spacing is off - the middle paragraph is too far to the right, and a little too high as well, making it seem like the actual middle paragraph was edited out and replaced with what we have here. In other words, I think only "Dear Players," and "~MMH~" weren't edited, and the date was likely copied from another mod's post. Lastly, these are pathetically easy to fake: QFC: 129-130-241-62642440 EDIT: Damn, ninja'd by Amethyst. But to be fair, the OP actually said "Probably a fake"

It does that for most 2h weapons (the ones I had in my bank anyway) like chaotic maul, golden hammer... How hard is it for them to make an effect that just travels the surface of the object? All of the auras make it look like they made a separate one for each stance. They kinda had to. From what I know about programming and 3D*, if they actually wrote the code necessary to have particles that follow the surface of an object, which wouldn't be too difficult, the effect would be rather processor-intensive, especially considering you'd need many particles for the effect to look nice, and the surfaces of newer weapons are quite detailed. The result would be something that's moderately simple to program, but would lag like hell for most players, especially if more than one person is holding a weapon with an aura. In other words, it's another one of the things you can add to Jagex's long list of things that they can do in their videos, but can't provide to players anytime soon. Other things on this list include the detailed water and waves from their dungeoneering video, and the real reflections in a mirror in their auras preview video. Things that aren't too hard to program, but wouldn't give even half-decent framerates to be an acceptable tradeoff for the effect. That's why, instead, they bother their graphics team to make several models of "outlines" for various weapon classes, and get the programmers to just set up a nice animated texture for these effects. But then they're lazy, and rather than manually selecting weapons to use a given glow outline model, they make them use models based on the wielding animation of the item, with only some items getting specific treatment (e.g. practically anything held the same way as a sword got the sword glow effect, but longswords and some dragon weapons got preferential treatment). So you can't blame them for not doing what you suggested, but you can still blame them for not equipping a damned dagger and seeing their goof before releasing the update :P (*which is a decent bit by now, especially considering I got a 5 on my AP Computer Science exam, and I've use Blender 3D for over a year and lurked the Blender game development forums a bit)

I got Reverence and Catfight (the latter of which I kind of regret). I find it funny how auras are glitched on many items, especially sickles and daggers. But I'm not complaining - it means I can finally call my useless Cosmic set complete: It's particularly nice in the dark: GIF: Awful stats of course

The True World Map? Post your findings! [Updated 2014]
Well, some areas disappearing may have a connection to the release of underground maps - it is possible they've started reorganizing the areas to actually match the underground maps, rather than just making the map draw data from separate areas of the world. But I also wouldn't be surprised if there actually is a specific pan limit added to the OoO for IAs, most likely added when they gave us the Fine Control mode.

The True World Map? Post your findings! [Updated 2014]
You know what's great? I was in Draynor Sewer, using Orb of Oculus, and I noticed the Artisan's Workshop is visible from it. Then I came here and saw Zargo's post :P Also, something bothers me: On the Agility Pyramid's duplicate/IA (you'll know you're in it when textures change, lighting changes, the fog becomes a little darker, and there are no more sliding blocks), I can't manage to get the Orb to exit the limits of the area. When it hits the edge of the duplicated map, it just stops moving altogether, as though I've reached my panning limit. But if I go one floor below, back to the regular RuneScape, I can pan much farther than I can in the duplicate. Has Jagex nerfed using the Orb to find hidden places?

April Fools
Thanks  Nope, too low. EDIT: Okay, the contest for this fake is closed - "I am Nyu", from Zybez, guessed 740, which was within 20 of the real answer - 730. Also, here's a sneak-peak of a work-in-progress of mine, to thank you all for playing: (I actually already have 10 ground textures, but I can only show one until I get ground blending set up :P)

Easter Eggs: Correct, +2₧. Finding References: 1) Correct, +8₧. You can actually see how the censorship beeps looked in Adobe After Effects for me, which is why I noticed that: http://img841.imageshack.us/img841/5507/swearsequalexponentialc.png :P 2) Nope :P 3) Correct, but someone at another forum got it before you. 4) Correct, but someone at another forum also got this one first :/ 5) Correct - +2₧. 6) Correct, but once again someone else got it first :(. By the way, you can see a close-up of the guitar here: The Tok-Tz-Ak-Tok (Obsidian Guitar). Figure out how I made it: 1) Nope :P 2) Nope - it's actually Carnillean armour, but someone else got it first. 3) Once again, someone else got it before you :( You earned a total of 12₧ :P Easter Eggs: 1. Gandorf got it first :P 3. Correct :P +4₧ 4. Correct - +6₧ Finding References: 2. Correct, they're bonus points. There were 73 in the stack because that was the amount of bonus points currently lost (as seen on the scoresheet) :P +4₧ 4. Already found :/ 5. Found by Gandorf61. 6. Already found. Figure out how I made it: 1. Way too low :???: 2. Found already. 3. Found already. +14₧ for the finds, and +5₧ for participating at more than one forum, so +19₧ total :P COINCIDENCE???? I THINK NOT. Please consider your time frame here... I made that fake back in June '09, and the April Fools' BTS was April '11. So that would mean either Jagex looks at my fakes, or I work at Jagex *dramatic revelation music plays*

April Fools
Thanks, everyone  Yeah, I was careful with the numbers and stuff. The HP bars and HP bubble also have (probably) the right percentages of "fullness", and the iron noob takes a total damage equaling a multiple of 10 (showing he was at max lp before running into the flood). I have OCD, so I'm careful with that sort of stuff lol :geek: Wow, you registered really quickly :XD:

April Fools
First, if you haven't already seen Jagex's April Fool's Day behind-the-scenes, read/skim it, or you won't get this video. Also, language warning (it's all censored though), and ignore my impossibly fast typing (this was done for your convenience :-P). Watch in HD, preferably in Expanded or Fullscreen mode so you can see the details: Note that most the cats are jumping, not running, so it may look like their legs aren't moving. It also "lags" near the end, making it harder to see that some of their legs are moving. Yes, it took forever. I used Blender, After Effects, Fireworks, etc. You can read the YouTube description for details. Contest This is a contest running between my screenshot fakes, where you can find inside jokes and hidden fakes, or figure out how I faked things, in order to win points. These points are kept on a scoresheet alongside a few other stats, and I add you to the list automatically just for playing. You can spend these points on various prizes ranging from simple underbanners to interesting emotes to 3D models to entire fonts - all custom-made in whatever way you want! Or, you could just play for the fun of it, whatever suits you :P. For more details on the contest, click here. Info about rewards can be found here. For questions/concerns, feel free to consult the FAQ or ask me. How to play: look at the list below, and see if you can answer any of the questions or find any of the things listed. Be the first person to post it, and you win the points! Here is a list of questions you can answer for this fake to get points: Finding Easter eggs: I modified an icon for no real reason. What icon did I change? 2₧ [1 incorrect guess] The XP counter says XP-, implying Negative Bonus XP for this day :-P. Found by Gandorf61 (Tip.It). Something is missing somewhere in the interface. There is actually a reason it is missing - you may get it if you read the Behind-the-Scenes well. What is missing, and (5₧ bonus) why it not there? 5₧ (+5₧) [2 incorrect guesses] The minimap dots of Wilough and Shilop (two of Gertrude's sons) are missing. They aren't there because they would be involved in the quest, Gertrude's Cataclysm. Found by Michaël (Zybez) (bonus not earned). Something really random happens for no reason - you'll see it in the interface somewhere. What is it? 4₧ Baraek the fur trader randomly runs north to Varrock Castle, and then back south to where he belongs. Found by CaptHunter (Tip.It). This one is actually sort of a flaw: something is not right about the minimap. What is it? (It has nothing to do with the cats.) 6₧ Some dots on the minimap, such as Zaff and Naff, stand still throughout the animation. Found by CaptHunter (Tip.It). Finding References: You can blame me taking AP Calculus for this question. I noticed that the amount of swears in my sentences forms a mathematical curve when you consider frequency of swears over time. You don't have to be specific, but what type of curve is it (e.g. linear, etc.)? 8₧ It's an exponential curve - here's how the censorship beeps look in my editor, Adobe After Effects. Found by Gandorf61 (Tip.It). What does the item at the bottom-right of the inventory represent? 5₧ bonus for figuring out why the number of the stack is 73. 4₧ (+5₧) [1 incorrect guess] They are bonus points from my contest, and there are 73 of them because there were 73 "lost" bonus points before this fake's contest started. Bonus points are lost when someone answers the main part of a question, but not the part that gives bonus points. Found by CaptHunter (Tip.It) (bonus not earned). I made references to many things in the Behind-the-Scenes. So we're all clear lets get the obvious two out of the way: you should all know that Gertrude's Cataclysm is referenced in the BTS section of the same name. But where is the ripping of a party hat mentioned in the article? Just post a quote of that part of the article. 1₧ "Due to an editing error, the wear option on party hats will no longer be the default option. Be careful when donning one, as we have corrected it to the intended tear left-click option, for those who need to clear inventory space for ranaar." -found by dash berlin (Zybez). [2 Finds] The chatbox, at the beginning, contains two references to the BTS (Behind-the-Scenes). One reference is worth 5₧, and the other is worth 3₧. What are they? 8₧ The level 78 hunter pet is from "Werewolf and Vampire Hunting", and Cherryboom is from "Little Pwny Unicorns". Both found by dash berlin (Zybez). I made a completely new interface icon - no, it's not the cursor, and it's not any of the inventory items. What is the icon, where is it, and what does it reference in the BTS? 2₧ At the beginning, you see a sailing icon at the bottom of the skills interface. It references the one-word mention of "Sailing." at the bottom of the BTS. Found by Gandorf61 (Tip.It). There is one reference to the BTS that comes as two separate inventory items. What is referenced by the items? 3₧ The grey/white hairs and red guitar reference "TzHaar Hero" - found by dash berlin (Zybez). [2 Finds] Explain what two of the inventory items are meant to represent. You get 5₧ for explaining the grey/white stuff below the party hat, and 2₧ for explaining the red thing next to the grey/white stuff. {Sealed by Finding References #6} 7₧ The grey/white things are the beard-hairs of an imcando dwarf, and the red thing is a Toktz-ak-tok (Obsidian Guitar). You may see a close-up image of the guitar here. Both found by dash berlin (Zybez). Figure out how I made it: Not really a question of how I made it, but this is the only section I could put this question under. How many cats are there? You don't have to be exact, of course. I will accept your guess if it is within 20 of the correct number (e.g. 20 greater or 20 fewer). If I get 10 guesses and none of them are within 20 of the correct answer, the closest guess gets the points. Maximum of two guesses per person. Also, if your guess is exactly the correct number, you get 16₧ bonus. (Hint: don't count the minimap dots, they aren't exact and overlap too much!) 8₧ (+16₧) [9 incorrect guesses] Gandorf61 (Tip.It) guessed 666 and was wrong, but close to being within 20 of the answer. CaptHunter (Tip.It) guessed 250 and was far, far too low. Bonesman (Tip.It) guessed 616 and was too low. Michaël (Zybez) guessed 647 and was also too low. Oryza Sativa (Zybez) guessed 600 and 680, both of which were too low (680 was close, however). Michaël (Zybez) guessed 700, and was painfully close... dash berlin (Zybez) guessed 698 and 706, again being very close but too low. Finally, I am Nyu (Zybez) guessed 740, which was within 20 of the real answer - 730. Thus I am Nyu scored 8₧. How did I make that platebody in my inventory? Did I fake it? Did I get it from somewhere? If you think I faked it, state the general tool/technique I used. If you think I got it from somewhere, say where I got it from. 4₧ It's a quest reward, Carnillean armour, which is one of the two possible rewards from Hazeel Cult, found by dash berlin (Zybez). What is that potion in my inventory? 3₧ It's a Super Energy (3) potion, found by dash berlin (Zybez). Here is the current scoresheet: Note: Please press Ctrl+F5 to refresh the above image! Here is a key defining the various columns/rows of the scoresheet. You may click here to see a list of people who have won trophies from earning many points. A total of 0₧/91₧ are left to obtain in this fake. There are 0/16 finds remaining. Notice: Don't Forget to check this list for points you can earn outside my normal fakes! (22₧ left, 3 finds remaining.) Also, there's still an unanswered question on my last fake, here. It's worth 4₧, and you can post the answer on this topic if you like.

China Using Prisoners To Farm MMOs
See, that's the thing that makes this ridiculous. Waterboarding at a -9 or -10? I think it would be exaggerating to call it a -4. You're awfully naive about the amazing ways human's have invented to inflict pain on one another, both psychological and physical. Which is the crux of the matter - when you consider what other atrocities are committed today, forcing people to spend exhausting hours playing a computer game to make you money doesn't even come close to genuine "torture". Notice that Sir_Squab said "waterboarding someone 183 times in 30 days". Not "waterboarding someone once or twice". I've nearly drowned twice in my life, and though I will say it is awful, and a horrifying and painful experience, I would still have a hard time placing that as worse than -1 or -1.5. That's just for my personal experiences of drowning*, which obviously did not last several minutes as it does for waterboarding victims (their torture is intermittent, not a continuous 20 minutes of water, for obvious reasons). Bear in mind, with my perception of this scale, having a bad day or getting detention would not even register -.00000005; I'm having a hard time calibrating a scale where the worst torture possible is -10 and 0 is neutral. It may be my pessimism, but I don't think the best feelings possible could reach +10 if +10 is meant to be the opposite of -10 and -10 is the worst torture possible. But I digress; I'm saying I agree with Soma that waterboarding is nowhere near -10. However, the prospect of being waterboarded 6 times a day, even for "only" a month, could easily reach -8. I'd imagine having all your fingers and toes slowly chopped off would be significantly worse than waterboarding. But that form of torture is far from repeatable: you can't just re-attach the fingers and toes and chop them off again. Likewise, I'd imagine having your skin slowly peeled away, and then being entirely submerged in a vat of battery acid, wearing nothing more than a snorkel super-glued to your mouth, would more than easily score -9.5 if not worse. But such torture would, needless to say, kill the victim, ending at least their mortal suffering (let's not let religion into this discussion; only acknowledge both physical and mental torture up until the moment a person has died). 6 sessions of waterboarding daily can be continued for the rest of your life. You probably would be terrified of even a glass of water after a few years, and not die of thirst simply because of the water you inadvertently drink during the torture sessions. Take that into the condition of this topic: yes, physical labor is no stranger in prisons throughout the world. Yes, many disciplinary systems use physical punishment for failing to meet a goal. Yes, college students sometimes experience extreme sleep deprivation. Yes, no-lifers may play WoW for as long as these prisoners do, and some may play it in particularly un-fun ways because they're being the most efficient. Any one of these, in and of itself, is certainly hard to label as torture at all. Put all of these together, and you have an extremely terrible day, but still not necessarily torture (a student can be at a college with corporal punishment and many difficult assignments, plus a side-job at a coal mine, and may spend whatever spare time they have playing WoW, all in their "ordinary life"). But one day is nothing - for example, one day of literally no sleep isn't as terrible as some may think - hopefully most people on this topic can draw on experience for this. Its the sum of many days that compounds mental strain, even when the physical damage heals. Several days without any sleep at all leads to lasting psychological effects that never heal - a few more past that point is certain death, so it's obvious these prisoners at least do get some measure of sleep. Years of being physically punished for mistakes and incompetence, as may be expected, leads to a heightened nervousness and likeliness of panic attacks (hopefully nobody will feel the need to challenge this, since the connection is similar to how the most workaholic nations tend to have higher suicide rates). Extended playing of a videogame, needless to say, has mental consequences, particularly when coupled with sleep deprivation - I feel like relating a case a friend of mine once experienced, but I won't betray his privacy. Now, take that terrible day mentioned above, and multiply it by several hundred to see why it should be considered torture. Mental damage in particular seems to add up faster than it can heal (particularly because, in the case of traumatic experiences or sleep deprivation, it pretty much can't heal). The only possible solace is "getting used to it", but that's not the same as healing. Getting used to monotonous hell can be likened to the mental equivalent of being repeatedly cut in the same area: the scars add up, and your sensitivity is reduced, but you'll pretty much never truly heal. Just because it isn't all at once doesn't mean it isn't torture - to compound three years of the treatment Dali describes all into one day would certainly add up to more pain and suffering (particularly mental) than is actually possible in terms of the worst real-world torture. Whatever you may label as a -10 will still scarcely last a day (I doubt even that long) before the victim is killed, and could never be repeated for the duration of three years. Would you say the person who is waterboarded for fifty years (if even possible without dying from shear mental strain or physical accidents) suffered less than the person who suffered an hour as their skin was peeled off and they were fed to rats? The concept of torture is to cause suffering, and suffering can be compounded over time. Videogames aren't the worst thing in Dali's treatment - he could have been subjected to any number of things in its stead. For example, completing online surveys to get free membership to online games, to pay for the memberships of the gold farmers. Or clicking on advertisments on websites where ad clicks earn the Chinese government money. Or mass-producing 3D models of concept art for companies that have outsourced their 3D graphics. Depending on your mileage, some of those may sound worse than others, but after several months of doing it daily for hours, all would be pretty much equally monotonous to gold farming on a game. Would any be as bad as physical torture? No, although they are punishable with beatings (not really chalking up to torture, of course, unless the beatings last an extended period of time). But there still remains the mental torture: the persistent need to meet a quota or suffer more beatings, coupled with the need to do that same thing over again, to click the same buttons over again, to move vertexes to mimic the lines in concept art over and over again, etc. Worst thing ever? Certainly not. Torture? Definitely. Can hell not be boredom? Swinging a pickaxe at a rock in real life for much of the day is obviously worse than clicking buttons all day, but that's not what's happening here: after they can no longer perform rigorous physical labor, they are forced to continue the associated monotony. You can be physically fatigued and not fatigued mentally, and vice versa. In this case, the prison causes both. The problem? It's easier to tell when a person can no longer physically perform something than whether they can still mentally do it. You can see someone is too tired, you can grab their limbs and pretty much tell when they aren't feigning fatigue. But you can make all the guesses you want as to whether someone has been thoroughly mentally exhausted, is just falling asleep from the boredom, or just isn't trying to stay awake hard enough. You can't read their thoughts and find their real breaking point, which tends to differ between people anyhow. That means there's a good chance the mental overworking may be worse than the physical overworking. Worse still, you can bet the prison guards have all the reason to imagine their captives are "having fun" with their game, compared to the work outside. If someone is legitimately, thoroughly exhausted both mentally and physically, it may not seem that way to the guard who sees them slouch over and fail to meet the quota - losing consciousness from mental exhaustion and falling asleep from boredom can look very much the same, and the latter tends to be a sign of laziness that makes it easier for the torturers to take pleasure in beating their victims. TL;DR: suffering accumulates over time, even if a day of it means nothing in and of itself. Gold-farming in a game is not as bad as physical labor of the same duration, but gold farming after the physical labor is cruel because your mind continues to be exhausted even after they acknowledged your body's taken enough strain. They can't gauge how much your mind can take, and will think you only fall asleep and fail your quota because of the sheer boredom, not the overbearing mental stress. *When I refer to my experiences with drowning, I mainly refer to my second experience - I was an infant when I first nearly drowned, so I can't say I remember it, but I definitely was afraid of water and had nightmares even long before my second near-drowning. I was eight when I nearly drowned a second time, and I certainly remember that time clearly.

A Visual Metaphor of a Modern Trend in RuneScape
Easter Eggs: 1. Correct :P 2. Right, but someone else (at another forum) got it first. "How I made it" #1 is unsealed now, though :P 3. Sorry, this question was meant to only ask about the chest armor, but since you got every piece of armor right, I'll give you double the points (so 4 bonus points). Flaws: 4. Not exactly the spell flaw I was looking for. I actually didn't realize it's supposed to arc. But I checked a recording of the animation, and even though it arcs, the moment you see in my video wouldn't arc in the real animation (it arcs before it gets that low, and goes just about straight down once it gets to the head/shoulders, and then it seems to arc a little more. Though my recording is rather laggy...). Because the robot's head is so close to the top, and the blast fades after passing its shoulders, I'm thinking any arcing really wouldn't be visible at all... Either way, technically what you said wasn't untrue, so I won't mark it as an incorrect guess :P. But bear in mind there's something else wrong with the spell animation. How I made it: 4. Close... If you cast telegrab, you'll notice it only makes the second part of the spell's sound effect :P. And yes, the splash animation has the splash sound. But you're missing the sound that the spell starts with.

(Watch in HD) Contest This is a contest running between my screenshot fakes, where you can find inside jokes and hidden fakes, or figure out how I faked things, in order to win points. Here is a list of questions you can answer for this fake to get points: Finding Easter eggs: In the first scene, there is a slight edit I made to make the museum look better. What is it? 5₧ I added an extra bit of ceiling so the area outside the museum would not be visible. Found by Den (Tip.It). At a few parts of the video, you may notice that something seems missing... No, it's not something from the display cases, but there's definitely something not present in the museum... 3₧ The people normally on the top floor are not there. Found by Amber Pyre (Sal's Realm). What chest armor is the other player at the end of the video wearing? 4₧ bonus if you can list all his armor. 4₧ (+4₧) Khazard Platebody, Green D'hide Chaps, Snakeskin Boots, Blood'n'tar Snelm, Rune Hatchet, and Yellow Cape. All found by Den (Tip.It). To be fair, I accidentally originally forgot to say "chest armor", so the question was "What is the other player at the end of the video wearing?". So I gave Den 4₧ bonus for listing all his equipment correctly :P Finding flaws: I don't normally have this section, but this fake was so long and difficult that I was forced to not correct certain mistakes because they would take too long to fix, and would barely be noticeable. There is a minor continuity error you may notice, if you carefully watch between each time the camera cuts. What is it? 6₧ [1 incorrect guess] The position of the bot's feet sometimes change when a cut is made (e.g. before the cut at 00:19 it has its right foot out, but after the cut the left foot is forward instead). Found by I am Nyu (Zybez). I neglected to animate something that should have had animation. What is it? 7₧ [5 incorrect guesses] The Bot's shadow does not stretch/shrink as it walks, meanwhile player shadows do. Found by Capt Hunter (Sal's Realm). Though I made the Completionist Cape as exact as I possibly could to the appearance of an equipped Completionist Cape (and it's virtually identical!), it doesn't match the real mounted cape for two reasons. You get 4₧ for finding one reason, and 6₧ bonus for finding both. 4₧ (+6₧) [3 incorrect guesses] The mounted cape actually has no texture, and it is much smaller than the equipped cape. The first answer was found by Capt Hunter (Sal's Realm). I tried being practically exact for the spell animation, but after watching it later, I noticed I did something wrong. What's wrong with the spell animation? Hint: it has nothing to do with the circles or rings. 4₧ [3 incorrect guesses] Figure out how I made it: How did I get rid of the people that were supposed to be on the museum's top floor? {Sealed by Easter eggs #2} 6₧ I stood on the ground floor of the museum, and used the Orb of Oculus to get a view of the top floor. Originally, I tried recording from the top floor, but I couldn't get far enough for NPCs to disappear, and all buildings that had a 3rd floor and were far enough make NPCs disappear couldn't offer me a good camera angle due to their distance. Also, I couldn't simply record from the 2nd floor, even from different buildings, because then the top floor was invisible. So in the end, I had to record from the bottom floor :P. Found by Capt Hunter (Sal's Realm). How was I able to make the cape removable from its rack? Yes, it was modeled, but what did I have to do so that I could use my model in the video? 3₧ [4 incorrect guesses] I had to get rid of the cape in my background screenshots, and mask the new cape in behind objects. Found by Capt Hunter (Sal's Realm). {Sealed by Figure out how I made it #2} I had to get rid of the original cape/hood/rack before I could put my 3D model of the cape/hood/rack into the video. What tool did I use to edit out the original cape/hood/rack? (the tool exists in Photoshop, Fireworks, GIMP, etc.) 3₧ The Clone Stamp Tool. Found by Capt Hunter (Sal's Realm). The real Completionist Cape doesn't have any sound effect when you attempt to take it, but I thought my video felt empty without giving the spell a sound effect. Where exactly did I get my sound effect? Yes, the sound originates from RuneScape sounds. 8₧ [15 incorrect guesses] The sound effect actually comes from two spell sounds: Snare and Telekinetic Grab. The sounds overlap and seem to be one sound effect. Found by 696lewa (Sal's Realm). How many different things did I have to model in 3D? Note: count the spell animation and spell splash altogether as 4, for simplicity's sake. You can also get 1₧ bonus for each one you correctly list (no bonus for listing the spell animation and splash. I already gave you that :P). Note: if you list something I did not model, you will get one bonus point less (so if you list three things I did model, and two I didn't, you would get 1 bonus. Don't worry, you can't get negative bonus, but will receive no bonus if you list more things I didn't model than things I did). As with all questions that have bonuses, you must answer the main question (the number of things I modeled) at the same time as the bonus to receive bonus points. 6₧ (+?₧) [2 incorrect guesses] I had to model 10 things in 3D. They were the spell effects (as mentioned above, count these as four things), the robot, the cape, the stand, the hood, the rune hatchet in the last scene, and the robot's shadow. All 10 found by Capt Hunter (Sal's Realm) (with the full bonus, which was 6₧). Here is the current scoresheet: Note: Please press Ctrl+F5 to refresh the above image! Here is a key defining the various columns/rows of the scoresheet. You may click here to see a list of people who have won trophies from earning many points. A total of 3₧/75₧; are left to obtain in this fake. There are 1/12 finds remaining. Notice: Don't Forget to check this list for points you can earn outside my normal fakes! (33₧ left, 5 finds remaining.)Also, my last fake's contest was never finished! There's still one question (up to 10₧, if you get the bonus) yet to be answered. Post the answer here, rather than bumping that topic, of course.

Beware! 'Jagex' scam email!
Funny thing, just today I got a phishing email very similar to that... Except it was for WoW account selling, not RS rwt, and I've never even played WoW... Phising emails, kicking out immigrants since 2001. Spelling errors, an excuse to mock people since before the internet.

@3: See this. Specifically, point 5 still mentions item scamming. It would be reported under Honour - Scamming.

Player Mods, Ethics, and Dicing
Exactly. There's already been so many holes shot into Mew2 & PYR0's arguments. Odds are even if they do post "evidence" of Mod Dowd claiming to indeed be the pmod, it'll be an easy to fake screenshot. A well-known clan trying to preserve its dominance in dicing by getting a pmod to abuse their power is a lot more plausible than a Jmod telling a dicing clan he's going on his pmod account to report people for "item scamming" when he thinks they're autotyping. @Das: I agree with that image whole-heartedly
