I want to get 91 smithing for effigies, and was thinking of trying this since I hear it's good. What should I make, and how much would I need to spend to get this?

I usually kill Zamorak Spirit mages, as they're not too far apart and easier to kill than the other gods. I kill the mages near the God Chamber, but near the bridge is also another good spot. What I wear is: Slayer Helm Holy Symbol (until I get into the Zamorak chamber, then switch to fury) Bandos Chest Bandos Tassets Barrows gloves Dragon boots Rapier / Whip Dragon defender Either Firecape or Soul Wars cape I also have a zamorak arrow in my arrow slot, as that makes Zamorak minions unaggressive. I usually take around 10 prayer pots, 2 Super atts and strs and the best melee minion. I might be forgetting a few things as I haven't slayed in a couple of weeks :P But I believe that's a basic setup.

Well, once you get 85 dungeoneering you could do frost dragons. It makes me around 2-3m per hour using a war tort. If you would want to try Nex, people often require a Ccbow, so you could aim for 80 and get one. Then take some breaks and do dungeoneering once in a while, then once you're 85, try some frost dragons and see which one you like better. I may not be the best advice giver for Nex, as I've never been to her (although, with a good team i hear she's 15m an hour).

If you are in fact going to be training herblore for the bxp weekend, i'd advise you get a scroll of cleansing. I've spent around 50m on supplies, but im hoping to get around 5m back. 5m is more than enough for alright gear.

Last I checked, monks were 220. When I originally got 76 fishing, they were around 500. I'd just do barb fishing till 90 then rocks.

No, I meant that if I did get a spear, I would use it because of it's attack styles instead of my primal maul. My second bind is a gorg plate at the moment, until I find something better like a SSH. And I tried the CC, but no one listens to me :/

Thank you, I remembered they had a clan chat and I couldn't remember :) And yea, I've got my ring on berserk too. I just thought the attack styles might come in handy.

After reading some guides and looking at others stats, would it be safe to say a whip staker has 70 attack, 40 str and 70 def? Or around those type of stats? Is the stats good, or are there better versions?

I've noticed a lot less people at slayer monsters since the update. Hey, I'm not complaining :P

I usually range them between the rocks so they can't burrow under and attack me. Semi-afkable.

Rustoid why not just suggest a SS since it looks like a gs, trains str and is nearly the same as a whip? No need to go all Samuel L. Jackson.

I've had my MTK stocked up for about 3 months anticipating another weekend, and hurrah! it's here. So I'll probably be doing herb till 91/92 then either firemaking or thieving. Also, at the beginning of the weekend I will check all my Magic trees and Papaya trees and plant new ones. Then log back on Saturday night and check them again, then start with herblore :P

And it's free, so there really is no reason NOT to. A rapier is anything BUT free. This, the repair costs are taking a chunk out of my bank due to recent slayer items being so low.

I'd never buy half that list. I know you're trying to say that he wants to buy the items, but if you can get items for free that work just as well, why not? EE> Sgs, D defender > Dfs (cept wyverns, I have them blocked), zammy spear is good unless you have a rapier, SS doesn't compare to D defender and D scim, guthans isn't as good with bunyips and EE and bandos I would buy. It doesn't seem like it would make a difference, but +6 str bonus is good.

I love pking, and I've made 2 different pures. Variety once in a while can be fun, and taking a break from one account to play on another account keeps me into the game.
