  1. I have my Portals, altar, quest hall and pet house around my entrance. I find it the most useful for the various things I do, which is mostly slay / MHing.
  2. Which is more efficient: Dragon scim w/ glory + D defender or Obby sword w/ zerker necklace + D defender?
  3. Quoting from RS Wiki "While his origin is unknown, it was alluded to in a Letter to Saradomin that he is a wizard practicing the magic of Summoning, though the only magic he has demonstrated to players thus far, teleportation, is not to be confused with it" .
  4. I have a turmoil zerker which I enjoy very much, although I regret getting over 40 defense and 60 attack.
  5. For the crossbow upgrades it mentions "With some help from Thurgo, you’ll be able to upgrade the crossbow from Song from the Depths into a truly fearsome weapon." Does that mean that a certain smithing level is likely required to upgrade the crossbow?
  6. Is it just me, or does the mature worms shriek sound like a monkeys howl....
  7. As of late, I've really liked the updates (cept for the SoF fiasco). The FPS update allowed me to run HD settings with a FPS of 50, which would have never happened before. And the QBD is coming this month, it's been a long time since I've awaited an update.
  8. I could see this being F2P and P2P. But for the F2P players, you'd only get a limited amount of time. This way, you get a glimpse at the upcoming updates and want to play it more, so you buy membership (in their minds at least).
  9. It's odd, I had w60 and w72 saved, and just yesterday it said w144 was one of the saved worlds from a long time ago...
  10. I'm very interested in the QBD, not having much playing time makes bossing with others difficult. Even if the Dragon Kite isn't that good, hopefully she drops other worth while items that make me want to stay there  And maybe even the dungeon leading to her will be good!
  11. Seems as though the novelty of this update has already worn off for me. First 30 minutes I was interested, but then after getting about 100+ of all the runes I could I got bored just looking for the wizard. Oh well, guess I'll stay for the pouch.
  12. Doing farming runs along with other things (like Rev's, frosts, ect) seem to be decent ways of making money.
  13. Along with what The Fray said, being able to use the Fairy Ring is VERY helpful, as the ring is literally 3 steps away from the best Waterfiend spot in the caverns. Also, if you find that you can't afford a Zammy spear after summoning, a cheaper but much slower option is Veracs flail. For the fairy rings, Fairy Tale Part II (only a little bit through the quest, NOT finishing it meaning the reqs aren't needed to access the rings) is to unlock the rings using a dramen / lunar staff and Fary Tale Part III lets you travel without having to equip the staff.
  14. [hide] [/hide]*Newsflash* All skills have been buyable for a very very long time already, it didn't come with this fail of fortune, it has existed for a very long time. (in which makes it even more sad, when you think about it.) Yes. Runescape is and has been nothing short of a BUYABLESCAPE, get rich in one way or another (ingame or IRL and GG) noneed for 1337 player skills or anything, just time and a pile of currency = WIN. SAD = YES. TRUE = YES. Lets say you had absolutely no gp though, other than RWT'ing, which other method of buying skills are there other than this? And since this is allowed by JaGex it's sorta pushed it too far this time.
  15. Who's ready for a good 'ol [rooster] fight? Wooo. Edit: Aweee..
  16. Meh. I'm used to all this crap now. After they said they wouldn't up the price of membership, then raise it to $7.99, I was upset, but I realized this company is long gone.
  17. Just bought 50k magic logs, gunna get 92+ firemaking then see if I can make a profit... Little worried I may have stumbled upon something I'm not gunna end up liking haha
  18. Oh my god, this morning when I got a black demon task and I saw no one there, I was actually so happy haha
  19. They can't and shouldn't and I will tell you why -- because if they do this, then Runescape becomes a gambling site -- with all the negative intonations that are included therewith. It's more of a tax on stupid people, but yeah ... But what is the difference between players gambling with each other and gambling against the game? Btw you can already gamble, look at barbican assault. Well yeah, but barbarian assault is a tiny, tiny fraction to what some people lose dicing. And it's points (i believe) not actual GP.
  20. Mod Timo posted an email they sent all people who have evidence of botting: "Dear Player, We have strong evidence that you may have purchased and used botting software in the past, specifically ibot software. Botting and the cheating it brings is destroying your game, violates Jagex's rights under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), and any player that continues to engage in botting activity has no place in our community. As part of bot nuke week we are offering you a 1 time amnesty and settlement lifeline, which is a chance to reform and change your ways. We'd like you to contribute to the community in a positive way, to compete on a level playing field as everyone else does and play in the true spirit of the game, with integrity. All of your accounts, main and otherwise, are now on our watch list and will be monitored for the use of ibot and all other inappropriate third-party software. Regardless of who you are or how long you've been with us, if you decide to cheat and bot ever again we will have no hesitation in: (1) permanently removing your account from our wonderful community in order to protect Jagex's rights under the DMCA, and (2) naming you as a defendant in Jagex Limited v. John Does, which is a lawsuit based on DMCA violations that is currently pending in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California (Civ. Action No. SACV11-00969-CJC). Please note that this amnesty and settlement offer is protected under Fed. R. Evid. 408. If you ignore our offer and instead continue use botting software, we reserve our rights to pursue statutory damages against you for between $200 to $2,500 per act of past, present, and/or future botting in accordance with 17 U.S.C. 1203©(3). We do hope you make the morally sound and lawful choice of turning your back on bots. We look forward to seeing you in game having fun in a way that is true to the spirit of fair play and respectful to your fellow players. Yours sincerely, Mark Gerhard " QFC: 14-15-831-63310676 Wow, that's some serious sh**.
  21. I never thought of them actually hiring popular dicing clans such as Win All Day's (just an example) cc to gain their GP for selling... Interesting.
  22. I actually chuckled about the glitches being scary part :P
