Piety every task is a must. Rapier is VERY worth the time it takes. I like your idea of doing floors then a slayer task, I wish I had done that :rolleyes: Dungeoneering can get pretty boring... For the mage / herblore question, it really depends on your cash pile... I superheated gold for some good smithing exp along the way, although it did cost me a good 15m. For herblore, if you have the cash, making super recoveries until you can make extreme pots is a good choice, along with a few super antifires for those metal dragon tasks (which with a rapier and Dragon defender, is a very fast task). But if you are strapped for cash, something like serum's are a low gp / exp. Task's I block are black dragons, warped terrorbirds, and LRC (personal choice, I wouldn't usually block these). So I don't think you should block either metal dragons or fire giants, no matter how repetitive they seem... Their a moderately fast task in the resource dungeon. Tasks I cannon: Black demons, mutated bloodvelds, dagganoths, and hellhounds. Sorry it was all mixed together, I had a bunch of thoughts in a row :P

No offense, where are you getting these comments that it's GE price? Everything I've heard on this forum has them much higher than their GE price.

I would normally agree, but with the prices of zammy book, it's not really worth it. Guthix book is decent and only costs around 1m if I remember correctly.

Thanks everyone, the general consensus seems to be maul or CCB, so I'll have to think about which one.

I am getting close to having my second chaotic and I'm wondering, which one should I get? I've already got rapier. A little bit of information; I don't usually MH, although I've been thinking of taking up Bandos. I tend to slay for my levels, as I find it the only "true" way to train combat. For money, I've been killing frost dragons. I haven't heard too much about the shields, so they intrigue me a bit.

I knew i recognized your name, made pots with you last night in Soul wars (sold you those lantadymes) :P But yea, DFS is one of the items I would never buy, D defender is so much better than DFS except for Wyverns, which I skip anyways.

Teleports are for farming, then making all those potions. Now I wait :ohnoes:

I'm currently working on maxing out my 60 attack turmoil rune pure. I'm still debating whether or not to get 70 attack :S
