So. I bought the zealot necklace, split dragontooth necklace, surgebox, and the new herblore scroll with the tokens I had been saving for a rapier. And then I read this topic... Zealot necklace now seems like a waste. The other 3, notsomuch. (dragontooth necklace because I can use it with my bonecrusher and save a few ppots) Here's hoping Jagex realizes that the zealot necklace is a piece of crap and making it more useful.

New floors look amazing. Sadly, I don't give a carp about them, because I'm nowhere near the dungeoneering level for them, and after this update, it's going to be even harder to find a team. Maybe I'll just dungeon with buddies whenever they're on. :mellow: The herb/hunt/farm update looks good, although I will be annoyed if it's just another D&D. While D&Ds are good, I'd prefer content that's more... repeatable. Even without a decent reward. Monkey quest: I hope it's funny. Otherwise... :mellow: Meh. A quest. Bank update: HALLE-FRICKIN'-LUJAH. I don't care if it's only minor, ANY update to the bank mechanics will probably be in a good direction.

I went on a questing spree. Now, I have questpoint cape... and kinda wish Jagex would release 9001 new quests at once so I could go on a QUEST PILLAGE again...

I had one of those in elementary school. I lost it once I realized that all it had was codes I already knew and had mildly enhanced. So all I really got it for was the UV light that, for some strange reason, came with it. Because back in elementary school, writing with lemon juice and then seeing it glow a little bit was "SO COOL@#$@!%@#$!@#"

See, when I try word morphs, I usually end up with a list twice as long as that, and still nowhere near the desired word. And that's with 4-letter ones.

I don't drink alcohol. Never really have, never really will. I don't know whether it's because it's toxic, it messes with your liver, it causes temporarily ailed mental capacity, or because I'm the type of person to become easily addicted to something. Same thing goes for cigarettes (except they butcher your lungs instead of your liver, but meh), and most drugs. I have, sadly, already fallen into the trap of chocolate-chip cookies, though. MUST HAVE COOKIE RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA (Disclaimer: That last sentence or so was a joke. I am in no way actually addicted to cookies.)

I crack cryptos by hand. I might find a program to help, but I'm way too much of a purist to use a cracking program.

Well, yeah, but then research would have to be worth less or we'd be nuking planets 3 sessions from now. I say that everyone has a fixed number of puzzles that they can actually do (i.e. cryptos for me, word morphs for Nex, just-about-anything for Jen) per session. Any research attempted after that gets put "on hold" until the next session.

Change "word morphs" to "cryptos, physics puzzles, and the occasional miscellaneous random puzzle" and you've got my situation. Hell, I've got a chem puzzle right now that has stuff I've never even heard of in it. And the stuff I've heard of gave me a headache back when I dealt with it in Chem class. I never much liked that stuff, and I don't like it now.

Good idea with the puzzle card. I'd like mine to be mostly full of cryptos.

I'll claim my 3,000 and give it to Icu for use in paying back the ship. After all, it's not like I'm gonna use it... Also, I chuck all my other (30k) credits into the "Ship Donation" box. Iirc, Nero mentioned something about my fine being lowered, so I'm cool now, right? First thing I do next session is hold a big-ass multi-nation auction for the ion cannons. Hoo boy, this'll be fun...
