Hegemony Argument Thread
So? I turned people into living water and ice trolls.

The End of the Beginning
I uber-dodged the uber-explosives. So? My character is designed to have resistance to magic and electricity, as well as being a "macho" guy. However, he's pretty dumb. Not to mention Grim pulling the "hur-dur uber-explsoves" meant I had to pull a "hur-dur uber-dodge" if I wanted my character to survive. I won't do it again unless someone tries to pull an uber-attack that makes no sense on me again.

Hegemony Argument Thread
I played Hegemony after Hex was booted off, so I really have no idea what this whole argument is about. :D

The End of the Beginning
Kemios is now seen running back into the forest, carrying what looks like a modified version of the club Earth gave him. By "modified," I mean it's about the size of a small mattress.

27-May-10 Castle wars improvements
I'm pretty sure it's just wrong. People have been saying it also slows the drain rate of Turmoil. So it's even MORE melee biased than I thought. Well done, Jagex. "We'll really fix the combat triangle eventually, but until then, we're just gonna mess it up some more." On the upside, Castle Wars sounds really fun now, especially since there won't be a omgwtfbbq cost for potions in there.

27-May-10 Castle wars improvements
I noticed that none of the halos slow the drain rate of the ranged or mage prayers, let alone Augury.... So much for balancing the combat triangle. Then again, that's according to the KB..... so it's probably wrong.

Hrm, Think I'll probably go with a phoenix. FIREBIRD THAT DOESN'T DIE EVER PL0X!

The End of the Beginning
Kemios jumps out of the circle of runes, taking a few explosions along the way. However, the only marks he receives are a few burns. He then takes the club Earth offered him, waves it around a bit, then runs back into town.
-
The End of the Beginning
Kemios smiles gleefully, then whacks the flying rune with the tree like a baseball bat. Kemios then glances at EArth, and mutters, "Fine. I'll replace the freakin' tree." With that, he shakes an acorn out of the tree, plants it in the ground, and mutters a small incantation over it. Within minutes, the acorn has sprouted into a young sapling.

25-May-2010 - The Elemental Workshop III
Agreed, I don't like the start where it looks like you're charging up dbz style or soemthing. I would preferr the old hang time over the new shininess. EDIT: That aside, it's still one of the bad assest emotes. Am I the only one who thinks it looks as if someone's ramming a pole up your rectum and twirling you round? I was thinking a massive fart instead of a pole tbh....
-
The End of the Beginning
Kemios walks over to the pair in the tree, yells "I highly suggest you move!", and promptly rips out the tree for use as a club.
-
Dungeoneering
Kemios asks the transmog mage if there is anything he would recommend he create.

Well, I'm here, although I'm doing summer-style multitasking. RS, Tavern, and a Gameboy game from the good ol' days.

I take it there is no session tonight?

The newest Global Announcement
Relationships. What the Tavern talks about when we have a topic less than 5 pages long and need to give it filler somehow. WE'RE POSTING ADDICTS YAAAAAAAAY!

The death of dungeoneering?
On a slightly related note, I'm wondering - how exactly do the mechanics of the "random" rooms work? Do they just throw you on a random floor, with a random size and a random bunch of people, or do they actually put you on a floor you haven't yet completed?
-
The End of the Beginning
Kemios watches the sword bounce off his skin, and chuckles a little bit. "There's more to me than you think, you crazy chipmunk-hater." He then aims a grab at Rashid's throat.
-
The End of the Beginning
Kemios chuckles. "And now you don't live in a tree." With that, he kicked Rashid square in the chest.

Still wondering if a dragon would be the best way to go. And, come to think of it, I haven't had my wyrm do much of anything recently.... nor my skeletal wyvern. IT'S TIME FOR A HUNTING TRIP!
-
The End of the Beginning
Kemios looks at the tree, then looks at Earth. "You live. In a tree. What are you, a chipmunk?"

25-May-2010 - The Elemental Workshop III
[hide=Spoiler-ish]All I can say about this quest is: I'm pretty disappointed. I spent 2 hours running around pulling levers and crap only to end up with a shield that's only slightly better for fighting wyverns. Oh, and the "tome" you get? Doesn't appear. We're supposed to get defence xp too, but.... didn't get any of that either..... just 2k smithing xp, a body good only for aesthetics, if that, and a shield that's only slightly better for a Slayer task most people rarely even accept. On a slightly related topic... The book used to start the quest mentions an arm made out of the body material..... I wanna make one.[/hide]

While you guys are off fighting lord-knows-what-that-ivory-mage-has-become, I'm over here trying to decide what kind of critter I want to make as mah pet. Any suggestions besides a dragon? Also, Tech kinda ended the session, I think.
