The End of the Beginning
A character who is perfect in almost every way, is a kind, loving and gentle person, could punch out cthulhu, and has an IQ of 300 at the same time. Or only has some minor flaw which actually serves to add to the perfectness as they try to overcome it (And do so easily. All the time.) Oh. Well, I won't have an issue with that... given that my current character is a mildly mage-resistant, rather muscular idiot drunkard.

The End of the Beginning
What the heck is a mary sue? Kemios continues walking through the clear-watered swamp, when he sees a black sphere at the bottom of the swamp. As he kicks it to find out what it is, a small snout pops out of it and bites off one of his toes. After a rather large spout of cursing, combines with grabbing his toe and hopping around in circles, he hits the sphere with his club, to reveal a tiny baby serpent, which promptly flies out of the water and latches onto his face.

The End of the Beginning
So, back to actually RPing. As Kemios continues trudging through the swamp, he notices the water being to become clearer, showing that, unsurprisingly, everything that would've been alive underwater is dead and decomposed, and that he's just walking on a shallow lakebed. He continues on, feeling a bit sick, but not sick enough to stop.

- The End of the Beginning
I plan to have Kemios meet up with a few... ummm... well, not dragons. More like giant, talking, magically-flying eels with claws. So I guess you could call them evolutionary freaks of dragonkind. And he gets a couple toes bitten off by a baby one.- Soldiers of Napta
If I don't get pulled away to mow the lawn again, sure.- The End of the Beginning
Well, none of that messes with the mini-storyline I had plotted out within the swamp, so I'm fine with it.- Post and discuss all Jagex Twitter updates here!
Ya... they are lazy because they gave next weeks update early... keep being smart kiddo Next week's update was CW improvements? Nice to see them working hard. Ungrateful kids ftw. Hopefully you grow up soon but......but.....i hate castle wars =( I'll be grateful as soon as they allow helmets, and although not exactly essential, capes. They have the technology to make a little red or blue glow around a player to indicate that player's team... That was really the biggest fix they could've done, and they skipped out on it. So for me and a lot of others the update is meh... For some odd reason, I think void armor + effects of the cwars brace would be OMGWTHBBQ overpowered.- The End of the Beginning
AS Kemios continues wandering lost in the forest, he happens upon a swamp. However, as he trudges through what he thinks is mud, he soon finds that everything in the swamp is dead, except himself. Muttering something about curses, he continues trudging through the swamp in hopes of finding something - or maybe even someone...- Post all RS Screenshots, Videos, and Sounds here!
PM was rather creepy.- Why I Play Runescape
I smell a future RS Article writer. Join tip.it times crew nao pl0x. A rather good read, although I skimmed a bit at the ending. And you seem to have the same ideas as to why you play as I do - there's so much variety, so much that can be done, so much that can be made of your character... and not all of it is beating the living hell out of stuff.- Soldiers of Napta
Okay, three posts within 15 minutes of each other to start.- Manifest Destiny
I can't play Hegemedeival due to my bad organization skills. (They passed away after Hegemony V1, may they rest in peace.) So, it looks like my main activity on this board is going to be modding SoN. Meaning.... It's EXPONENTIAL THREAD GROWTH TIME!- New RuneScape Downloadable Client?
It worked for me yesterday, but today, every time I open it, Vista jumps in with some data-protection crap and shuts it down. Tried rebooting it, tried disabling the data-protection thing, tried reinstalling.... My computer just doesn't want me playing in HD. <_<- Hegemony Argument Thread
So how did we go from Hegemony to "happyfuntime" to people having imperfect brains?- Soldiers of Napta
Been a while since we've had a session, but since Dungeoneering seems to be going through a dry period right now..... 3 to start.- The Room
This is why I won't be playing. I doubt your word. Well, that and this game just won't have any storyline at all. I mean, all you can do is find the saboteur, then what? You all go into the door of salvation and live forever in happy unicorn land? That's one of the main reasons I shut down Cyber-Duels - It couldn't have a storyline beyond people just beating the living hell out of each other.- Dungeoneering
The lack of session here disturbs me.- Castle Wars Improvements - Faithful Shield
Fix'd. Unless someone comes up with evidence of the halos affecting the "eye" prayers or the "might" prayers, let alone Augury.... sorry, thought it was obvious I meant melee'ing there Not really, monkey skeletons seem to be more of a prime spot for chinning, and, for people with nothing better to do with their time or money, bursting/barraging.- Castle Wars Improvements - Faithful Shield
Fix'd. Unless someone comes up with evidence of the halos affecting the "eye" prayers or the "might" prayers, let alone Augury....- POLL: What do you think of the latest Castle Wars update?
I got the 10th vote. Also, I picked neutral, mostly because I never play/played Castle Wars anyways.- The End of the Beginning
If writing large amount of details is necessary for this, then I'm outta here. Kemios jumps back from the hole in the ground, swearing mildly. After he recovers from his initial shock, he replies to the cloaked man, "What the heck is Earthwood? I did get this club from some guy who lived in a tree, but that's just about it...."- Dungeoneering: Beyond the Release
I disagree. Melee armour requires Smithing and Mining, both of which are fairly difficult skills to level. The ores, however, are more common than the Bovi's and Robe patches, making it easier to gather the neccesary materials. Range requires Hunter, Fletching, and Crafting, the first two being fairly easy skills while Crafting is moderately harder. However, the process of making arrows also requires Smithing and a more complicated than other steps. So Range needs a total of four skills to satisfy its needs, while Melee only needs two . Magic requires Farming and Crafting for robes, both of which are moderate skills. However, making runes and staves requires Runecrafting, which is either one of the slowest or most expensive (depending on how you train it) skills in the game to train. Magic needs a total of three skills to satisfy its needs, one of which is very difficult to train. So dispite the fact that Smithing and Mining are both difficult skills, I think it would be wrong to say that Range and Magic gear is "much easier to make". You forgot the fletching and woodcutting levels needed to make the base staff for Magic, and the woodcutting required for Ranged.- The new homepage
Let's look at our "Jagex Ad History" timeline, shall we? There was the World of Warcraft, Evony, etc. ads on the front page that probably appeared due to the advertising site's generator. That got fixed..... slowly. There was the big, fat "G.I. Joe" fiasco. Then, a couple months later, Jagex releases a fansite list that requires the sites to block ads from competitors to be of a decent rank on the list. To be of further annoyance, they give exclusive content to the sites higher on the list. Then comes this. As though making it seem like they're too stupid to learn from their first front-page-banner mistake wasn't enough, they even advertise content that includes a different video game! Well done, Jagex. =D> Well done....- The End of the Beginning
