  1. I'll settle for an answer sometime within the next 2 years. The sooner the better, though...
  2. ....*sigh* I have not been paying enough attention to this thread... So.... am I trapped in a forest, or was I a part of the group that got involuntarily transported by the head Ivory mage?
  3. I would say sign me up, but I won the last one.... So I'll just say good luck to you all! And may the best miner win... (bet Shahdie just uses this as an excuse to buy herself 3 extra months of membership. :P)
  4. Generic forest please.
  5. First of all, we don't know how strong Nomad is/was relevant to the Dragonkin or the Mahjarrat. For all we know, he may have been nowhere close to challenging them. Second, the "You have doomed this world" line may be for various reasons - perhaps he programmed the Soul Altar to implode upon his death or something....? Or, we could go with the typical reasoning and say....... Nomad is powerful. Power is used to move stuff. Boats are stuff that can be moved. Thus..... AMG SAILING@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@
  6. I was half-expecting to be rickrolled by that. On-topic: Ruby Dragon ain't much of a hint. I guess I'll say that we're getting an update of some sort, since "ruby dragon" is really kinda obscure.
  7. Thanks for the tips. I've slightly revised my inventory, using 2 sips of prayer potion instead and the +10% strength prayer. I can probably do fewer glories and more bananas... I'll do that next time I bank. If you don't want to bother getting past the gorillas, you can always go to the eel-cooking area used for RFD. That resets aggro on both sides.
  8. You can also just teleport to Ape Atoll to reset aggressiveness. It takes over an hour to use up a load of bananas-- even more if you keep them in baskets. At 70 prayer I used 5% str but now at 80 prayer I use 10% str and soul wars cape for the same prayer-usage rates but w/ higher exp. The main problem with teleporting to Ape Atoll and then running back down is those annoyingly huge guard monkeys that are usually blocking the trapdoor.
  9. We going to actually get a session going?
  10. Weapon: Sonic staff with 2 sonic-imbued gems and a bayonet (the gems and bayonet are a part of the staff) Armor: Holy mage-resistant lightweight iron platemail (I am now glad I piled all of my resources into that thing.) Familiar: Noisy skeletal wyvern Rope Knife The Complete Guide to Mushrooms Bring it on. Oh, and Rocco, if you kill me, I will hunt you to extinction.
  11. Yeah, I somehow got a spare ring too... Not sure how.
  12. 'cuz you dont even have to look at the screen to do it... And fire runes aren't hard to get, I have a lot of them from slayer, I never buy runes.. I'm after the bonegrinder though.. only 33k more tokens to go -.- Grinding for the bonegrinder, eh? \:D/
  13. Kemios collects the carcasses, plucks them, stores the bird meat in his ice room, and stows the feathers/bones underground. He then proceeds to shoot down some more birds.
  14. I'd rather have a chance of saving a law rune while teleporting around doing normal stuff than having to waste an inventory spot on an air/fire/water staff. Thus, I have a law staff.
  15. Kemios drags his life crystal back to his castle, where he stows it away in his underground stowing area. He then proceeds to shoot down as many birds as he can find with sound bolts, and collects the carcasses.
  16. I'm here for a couple hours, although I'll probably have to go eat lunch sometime.
  17. There's really no need to futz around with magic on this guy. He's one of the easiest bosses -- just slap on Turmoil, brute force him with a spear on stab, and eat to heal. Goes down in a minute with food to spare. Combat familiar helps. And if you're in a team that was 5-man but had 1 man quit...? Oh, I figured out that with a strong magic potion, I can veng myself. The poor bosses never saw it coming...
  18. Hex, I'm here more than you know. I just happen to arrive whenever the session ends.... which wouldn't be a problem if I gm'ed... hrm. And, come to think of it, GMing for this would be far more fun than gming for cyberduels, which I let die for a reason.... Then again, nobody's voted for me, so that little bit doesn't really matter. And I really don't want to see Dungeoneering die. At all. Ever. Hegemony brought me here, and Dungeoneering has kept me here. If Dungeoneering dies, I'm ditching the Tavern until it comes back.
  19. That made my day. OT: Yeah, I've always thought the Void Knights got a little.... cut-off lore-wise. So here's hoping we learn something about the history/abilities of the Void Knights rather than just play a more complex game of PC.
  20. his post is valid, as he's discussing pricing update, witch happened with this one. Ah, okay. Forgot about the pricing update.
  21. Gypsy, I think you meant to post that in the Dungeoneering thread.
  22. So, uh, remind me of the point of these 100+ pages of arguing?
  23. No, they can't, these crazy people like arguing too much. ;)
  24. No, we haven't. The US, and really no where in the world, has ever tried a system of complete Capitalism, it's always been a mixed economy of some fashion. They're tried complete Fascism. complete Communism, and complete Socialsm, all of which have failed. No one's ever done complete Capitalism. Closest we've come was the Industrial Revolution, which most people now think back and think of children working in warehouses and stuff for 10+ hours a day comple0tely ignoring that pre-industrial Revolution those children would have likely died like so many did, but... this is very far off the topic. He's referring to December '07. Y'know, when trade limits came in? The day RS supposedly "died"?
