I agree, except for adding the xp requirement. This would allow a boatload of combat pures to enter these worlds, and, as we all know, combat pures have a tendency to be a pain in the butt to just about everyone.

((How can they? The drones are under my direct controll as I am mounting the chair.)) ((I think I know...)) Octos decided that looking for the lever was futile, and then flew up behind Cherub. He then shoved her into the path of the nearest approaching drone.

Shoot a few and let them eat each other. And if that doesn't work, just lock all the doors and block off all the windows, make a fake repossessed sign on the door, and make sure nobody on the outside sees movement. Simple, really.

Octos moved away from the area Grim was draining, and proceeded to fly at him in an attempt to grab onto him and drain his energy like a leech. ((In case you guys haven't figured out, Octos is basically an amorphous energy leech. Good luck killing him...))

Octos absorbed a great deal of energy from the explosion, given his near proximity. However, he managed to remain uninjured. He then flew off below the city, trying to find the lever. ((Because I'm sick of fighting in Stargate's Atlantis.))

Octos began to chase back after the drone and began absorbing the heat coming off of it without getting close enough to get burned.

Octos saw an opportunity and flew after the drone.

Octos, having found himself blasted away from his previous target, appeared to be evaluating the abilities of the new arrival. He also noted the effects of the split sword, and began to laugh deviously. "No more elemental ring holding me back...." he cackled, as he released a wave of pure evil towards a wall of the arena.

I'll probably still be poor, maybe get a couple herb lvls. Oh, and I'll still have pathetic luck.

You got a kill after-game. My brother did that once.

Octos dodged Grim's attack, then proceeded to fly after him and form rings around him, this time making sure that there was no practical escape from inside.

You do know that usually the 1-itemers are the people with the lowest scores in Stealing Creation, right? Because they only ever process 1 clay, if that.

Octos laughed some more. "You're the idiot, giving me more power...." And he absorbed all the energy from the light detonation as well. He then pulled himself together and flew up into the atmosphere after Grim.

Octos laughed. "Ahh, energy, sweet energy....." He absorbed the amber light, then split into multiple tiny blobs which scattered around the arena.

((I guess that's why you're still using Hex, then, right? And don't call me for using the same character the whole time, I think I've actually had the most characters that get killed off. *counts* Yeah, I've had 3 deaths to TTanT's 1. The rest of you are still usin the same guy.)) ((In my defense, I didn't post much with my first character. And you guys ignored this one for way to long. Never let a summoner have time to camp.)) ((True, true.))

((^To me, or to someone else? Because if it's at me, fire away. I wanna know if I get something wrong.)) Octos decided that Taggerung was not his current enemy, and decided to try and smash Grim instead.

Octos was forced to retain in his natural form until the arena changed again. This form, however, happened to be an eight-legged colossal crab. ((Think a crab the size of the Sears Tower if it fell down.)) He began to claw away at whatever he saw moving with his giant colossal crab claws.

The goo shrank back off of Grim and Ares to allow them to fight. Octos sang out, "Let the foul atrocities begin!"

((By rings, I meant above, below, around.... think the picture of the model of an atom. But I'll let it slide this time.)) Octos morphed into a bunch of little tiny other blobs, so that the maelstrom pieces didn't really do anything. He then looked at the gate of fire, then at Grim. "I'm flying, idiot," said Octos, "but you won't be for long!" With that, Octos spread out into a thin filament of black goo that covered the arena...

((The blob is the guardian of the first realm. And he's still flying, your "he went splat" was a godmod. Edit thy post.)) Edit: ((Okay, good. But the blob and the guardian = same thing.)) Octos morphed around the fire, then made himself into a set of rings around Grim.

Octos looked at Grim. "Ah, another capable of absorption. Let's see what happens when I do THIS!" He seemed to morph into a flying anamorphic blob, then flew at Grim, attaching himself to the shield and began sucking energy from it like a giant energy leech.

((You all seem to have forgotten the gigantic implosion of Chaos... not all of that energy was aimed at Grim, y'know.)) As the dust settled from Chaos's remnants, a portal seemed to have formed where he had been standing before the attack. Out of this hole, seven black blobs had come out, and seemed to be joining together, each growing and making loud sibilant noises, until they all were combined into a dark pillar about 12 feet high. An eye and eight dark crab-like legs then appeared out of the pillar, along with a pair of rather menacing claws that seemed to be dripping blood. "I am Octos, the first guardian of the First Realm." He turned towards the combatants. "So you are the ones who managed to slay Chaos? I fear that was a grave mistake for you, for in his death, he has opened a gateway for us to freely travel! Of course, the little blighter had to put his own restrictions on it...... so only one of us may enter at time." Octos then looked around, deciding who to fight.

Chaos decided it was time to use his final trick. He began to scream, and his body seemed to grow larger until it filled the arena. It then grew even larger, and larger, breaking the walls of the arena, until.... Chaos imploded. With waves of kinetic, elemental, psychic, and sonic energy whizzed through the air, as well as "ghosts" of what he had absorbed - Grim's light waves, Ares's explosion, even a couple lasers from the dinosaurs. Most of these targeted grim and flew towards him. And as Chaos blew up, a quiet voice seemed to permeate the air.... "Enter the First Guardian of the First Realm...."
