Remove it from the game. There's no reason for it to exist any more other than gold farmers making money from it. That's pretty much all I have for this suggestion. Making any sort of decent money from it is no longer possible with the price of herbs. And there are faster alternatives to thieving now. EDIT: Actually they only really need to remove the ability to pick herbs from it to solve the issue. Their "bot detection system" and random bot sweeps don't help anything. Well maybe it does have a very tiny bonus to their profits when the gold farmers just make new accounts.

While it's true that bots exist in any MMO, it's also fair to say that the problem is much larger in Runescape for a couple reasons. 1) Almost everything in runescape can be botted. The gameplay of Runescape is much more repetitive than most other MMO's and that is something bots are good at doing, unlike humans who do not have an infinite attention span. 2) Money is extremely important in the Runescape metagame. You need money, and lots of it, to get the highest and most efficient rates of experience in the majority of skills. Unless you are a dice host, lucky staker, or something similar, earning money will slow down your experience gain drastically. These two factors combined make botting, and by extension, RWT (real world trading), very attractive. Bots are much more of a glaring issue in Runescape than in other MMOs. Pretty much this. The only way to get rid of a large portion of bots (the players who only bot certain skills because they're so repetitive) would be to change the game drastically. And that's just not going to happen.

Nothing, I wouldn't pay any more than I already do for jagex to stop bots. They should already be trying that with some degree of success.

It happened once and I was mad.... Never said I give up on it/hate it entirely. I know the risk please tell me when I said I don't understand the risk and that I don't think it's worth it. Go ahead please point out where I clearly said that. In the 12ish hours I've been making bloods that's the first time. I usually make them in a full world because people are busy killing people who actually have stuff on them. I just decided for some unknown reason to try a semi-empty world hoping for less lag. Way to read way too much into me posting a rant being mad because I got pked for no reason. I didn't post a rant to start a debate on whether or not I think it's not worth it or what methods are better or if I should play some stupid mini-game or about how I should hop worlds.

Bloods currently make money better than all of those. I'm not after extremely fast xp, natures have dropped too low/I'm not 91, astrals are slightly better xp/hour but a lot less gp/hour, and I don't have tabs and I don't even think laws would be good with them (how is this a good way to train runecrafting?). So ya, bloods are the good way if you don't get pked. First time in 12 hours of runecrafting but it's still annoyingly stupid that someone would pk someone runecrafting.
-
Seriously I can't craft my damn blood runes because of the [bleep] pkers that find it necessary to kill people runecrafting. What do they get out of it? 50k? Damn that's a big payday. Seriously now I need to go run around runescape and get all my diary [cabbage], agile legs, and pouches back because some [bleep] thinks it's hilarious to kill me. Imad That is all.

At 90 summoning there is no reason to use a fire giant over a geyser titan. If he's in multi he'll probably be praying so there's need to sacrifice the best fighting familiar he has for that small hp boost.
-
Single combat: Bunyip just because unless you're at dragons then you can choose to either bring a tort and bank them or not it depends on if you need money. I prefer to just not bank them because I'm lazy and like faster tasks. I don't really use anything tbh. Multi-combat: Geyser titan.

Since I don't have a chaotic I'm debating whether or not to get a whip vine. 1. What is the current price (forum/street not ge)? 2. Is it stable at the current price or still rapidly crashing? That's all the questions I have, I'm not asking if it's worth getting.

Post all RS Screenshots, Videos, and Sounds here!

ok guess I won't be selling anything atm. That WAS legitimately lag. Look at that vid-- he lags out for a few secs then gets hit for all his HP in one turn. Oh couldn't watch it my computer's trying to commit suicide atm. All I could see was title. I just assumed he was like most other pkers and said a lag was why he died. What's a rag list btw? -

I like how he blames it on a lag. And the guy who tried to claw you after the kill. Pkers have awesome attitudes. Why was he rolling on the floor laughing so much? Can't be healthy to laugh that much. -
Um I'm pretty sure runetrack updates every time you log out. Unless it just happened to update minutes after I logged out.

With Drum holding the overall xp records for both week and month, and did that over a year ago, and Drumgun holds day/week/month records in strength, ranged and summoning. He sure is, he sure is. Also: A big congrats to the King for 2.2b xp. Spending a lot of hours ≠ efficiency While I do agree in part, there are only so many hours in a day/week/month. Considering he had done this a year ago, and xp'ing has only gotten easier since then, and his record is still to be broken. I would say he must've had some form of efficiency. He dumped a lot of soul wars zeal into strength then trained summoning.

It's kind of annoying when I'm runecrafting astrals..............

Wait, posting a link to another fan site is now against jagex's rules? Damn musta missed that one. This is where I got the info from for the stuff I told you. Aww I was just trying to help too bad I can't in the help and advice forum. FYI apparently it's against jagex's rules to link to spreadsheets on google now.

Didn't it do the same thing as setting goals in the skills tab? I forgot... I'd like them to bring it back only because a blank tab bothers me.

Before I got 77 I was managing I think close to 25k xp/hour. But apparently if you're really fast closer to 30k xp/hour is possible. 19:30 for all the info you need on deaths. This is the first guide in the general guide section btw. http://forum.tip.it/topic/295772-ultimate-runecrafting-money-making-guide/

Whatever you do, don't do yew longs.... You should be doing at least magic longs. Stringing yew longs do make more profit but you lose 30k xp/hour instead of doing magic longs and making a very small profit. Broad bolts are slower than addy. They only give 30 xp/10 bolts vs 70 xp/10 bolts for addy. Stringing magic longs is about 185k xp/hour and makes a slight profit it's probably your best option if you don't want to spend all of your money but want a decently fast xp rate. There's really no in between the only two you should be doing are either broad arrows if you have the cash or stringing magic longs. Or you could make addy bolts (idk what you're doing to get 15 gp/xp but they're only about 6 gp/xp) while you do something else. Personally I'd spend the money and do broad arrows then make more money doing something else and go back to more broad arrows later. But that's only because I'm in no rush to get 99. If you're in a rush for 99 just spend some cash for some quick xp but leave enough cash to continue with magic longs for the rest of the xp.
-
If you only want like 2m xp you could do either addy or broad arrows. Broads are faster but you need to unlock the ability to make them first. Addy arrows are about 360k xp/hour and 9.5 gp/xp. Broad arrows are about 540k xp/hour and 8.5 gp/xp. That would pretty much chew up all of that 20m though. I'd just string magic longbows but I'm cheap.

Saying "no offense" doesn't make something not offensive..... OT: If Simon does go all the way to 200m prayer wouldn't that set the monthly record at nearly 200m xp making it almost impossible to beat? And does Drumgun even have close to enough money for 200m prayer. I think I remember either him or someone else mentioning a while back that he doesn't merch and made the majority of his money from camping abyssal demons to 200m combat. But how much of that money does he have left after 200m mage at rock lobsters (pretty sure he said he did that) and 200m summoning...
-
Too late font page is already full for prayer.

I really think jagex doesn't like to perm ban and instead just halves xp in hopes that the player will keep paying for membership... But botting at 1.5b xp is just stupid lol. Wonder how much xp he actually botted.
-
Idk but they named the runecrafting guy after larryr. I'm sure they'd do something. Tbh they should make something for castle wars.

You say that like 2m exp is a lot. Not being willing to spend 3-4 days training a skill to get the best weapons in game is being lazy. It's like having the remote barely out of hands reach and not being willing to get it to change the channel. I didn't mean it was a lot. I meant not everyone enjoys training dungeoneering enough to train it for 3-4 days. Why should i spend 3-4 days doing something I don't like when I'm fine using what I have. I'm not being lazy I just don't enjoy training dungeoneering. It's like not getting up to change the channel because you don't want to change the channel.

People pay 20M for +2 strength legs. Yet I see people at the G.E. whining that the whip vine is WAY TOO EXPENSIVE to justify the +2 strength bonus it gives. When I tell them that tassets are only +2 strength and are 20M they tell me it's totally different. When I tell them the vine whip doesn't even take up an equipment slot they tell me to STFU. Imagine for a second jagex never released dungeoneering, there was no chaotics and whip was still the best dps weapon, and this update was released. How much do you think the whip vine would go for then? Answer: A hell of a lot. People are willing to pay a lot for the bonus of zerker ring and bandos and such because they are undeniably the best choice for that equip slot. Because we have rapier and other chaotics which outclass the whip in every way, that's the only reason these things are seen as overpriced. Because anyone who cares enough to pay top dollar for a few str bonus would get a chaotic. So the whip vine is inferior and pretty much pointless, except for the niche market of lazy people who refuse to dunge but have money to blow. Why is everyone who doesn't train dungeoneering suddenly lazy? I don't train it because I don't find it fun and I'll pay a lot for all the top gear for str bonus. But go ahead and generalise that everyone who doesn't train dungeoneering is just lazy. Over 1.5m people have 70 attack but only around 80k people have enough xp in dungoneering to get a rapier (and that's assuming everyone got a rapier first) that's a large amount of people that still use a whip. I guess that's just a lot of lazy people according to you. And it's not really blowing money if you can sell it back later... Sure it's inferior to chaotics but a lot of people just don't like training dungeoneering. You say they would get a chaotic like it doesn't require wasting time on a skill a lot of people don't want to train to 2m xp just to get a rapier.
