Full Completionist Cape Requirement List (Including Trim. Reqs)
Robert_R replied to Screamra's topic in General Discussion
I would think they wouldn't stop adding them and they would just add something newly released if it makes sense to put it on the list. -
Oh here we go again with the graphs and bot discussion. Can we just go one update without someone pointing that out like we didn't already hear it a million times before? Seriously.
-
Is this more afkable than lrc? +1 I don't want to look like I'm wearing a power amulet.
-
I feel much less depressed about playing 213 days now.
-
Thanks I was unaware /sarcasm I'm saying he won't have to look for the assistable skill for that effigy if he has one already. So why not go ahead and get 93 so you would only have to find assists for 95 and 97 runecrafting/summoning effigys.

People camp easy monsters that won't kill them for fast training experience. It's not the same as running around in a group of 20 people to kill one person with no gain at all. And people who kill revenants don't really freak out when they die because at most they're probably only risking about 100k. And it might still be pking but don't act like you're good when you're killing 1 person with 20 other people helping you. I'm saying that pretty much because the guy in the pic saying "gf sir" like it was a fight to begin with. I'll admit some people might find it fun though so whatever just don't act like you're good at anything while you do it. I don't care about dieing in the wilderness I just don't like when people do that and think they're good at pking. And 99% of the time that happens if you don't suck you can just teleport before they teleblock you. Just keep quick prayers on mage and when you see them flick those on and row tele. Glitch before mods get mad -
Actually it will. He will now be able to do level 93 summoning effigys instead of only 91. Summoning is paired with runecrafting it isn't exactly easy to find a 93 runecrafting assistance.
-
If you intend on slaying a lot with magic. You'll want 92 for a wolper. You'll want to be able to open the effigys you get while slaying. So get 93 if you have the charms, there's really no reason not to if you already have everything needed.

Tormented demons for some cash and if you're into some bonus xp effigys. And just keep farming herbs for some cash on the side. Or you could just continue with your gambling problem and go for small stakes and build up back to where you were. Oh and sell the minerals if you have no intention of fishing right now. Use the 5m to buy gear and supplies for monster hunting. If you want a decent amount of cash in a decent amount of time you're going to end up monster hunting or staking. IMO there's no reason to have the majority of your cash tied up in something for one skill that you probably aren't training right now anyway. You can always just buy it back later.

I like how you care enough about this guy to make a topic about it.

Either a Latin or Julies Caesar reference. Either way, well played. Latin Julies Caesar reference. Double win. -
What's the first thing you do (did) when you get (got) members?
Robert_R replied to Skill_Caster's topic in Questionnaires
First day I got members I got scammed out of a rune gilded set for a dragon longsword because I had no clue what it was/how much it was worth/what I needed to do to use it. -
Full Completionist Cape Requirement List (Including Trim. Reqs)
Robert_R replied to Screamra's topic in General Discussion
There are alot more people with 99 str than there are with 99 rc, but there isn't a discrepancy there, thus i don't see why there can't be veteran requirements for all minigames, and if there only is for one, why count it for the comp trim? I just don't think such inconsistency is fair and should be tolerated. And yeah, a many thousand hour BA req would make just as much sense as CW right now(consider that BA is much newer). I'm still not sure why you think consistency is necessary when it comes to rewards for a mini-game. There can be veteran requirements Jagex just hasn't made them and maybe never intends to. Why not count it, it's still part of the game. I always kind of laugh to myself when someone thinks everything should be fair. MA is abandoned and conquest was a failure from the start. BA is a huge success although some may argue it is mainly played for the penance horn. Jagex added the castle wars professional cape before they created the completionist cape, they didn't make this a random requirement for no reason when they created the cape. The cape is intended for players who have completed everything Jagex has ever put into this game and that includes the completely ridiculous and illogical things Jagex has done in the past. It would make no sense for Jagex to make a veteran reward for something nobody wants to be a veteran in let alone play for the short amount of time to unlock the semi-useful rewards from it. They're not adding anything to this game with the specific goal of adding it to the completionist cape requirement. I would say if players actually enjoy something so much that they continue to play it far longer than they would ever need to it makes sense for Jagex to give them some sort of reward to signify that they enjoy the game. Keep in mind that nothing from castle wars is actually useful to anyone outside of castle wars so people aren't playing it for the rewards. There is no real reason for anyone to play castle wars but some people enjoy it. The trimmed cape is meant for the people who completely finish unlocking everything in the game there is no reason to make it easier to get by removing a requirement and saying it is not part of completing the game because it simply takes too many hours to do. Bottom line completing the game for trimmed cape involves actually completing the game how is it possible to remove ANY requirements from it and still say you have truly completed the game. If they do add veteran rewards for those games by all means add them to the list. Regardless of however long they may take to achieve they are still part of the game and reaching that final goal in that one thing is part of completing the game. Seriously I don't understand this argument: Why not count it. You can't ignore the fact that it exists in this game. Even if the requirement is only to unlock a cape by playing 2000 hours and Jagex was using their lack of logic when they created the castle wars cape it is still something that exists in this game. I really do laugh to myself when people complain that things aren't fair like things are ever fair. The trimmed cape is made to be an end game cape. End game. Finish everything in the game. In my opinion the untrimmed cape should be called the "Close enough" cape. Or the "I really like this game but I don't like it enough to do everything but I still think I deserve a cape that says I did that anyway" cape. -

The question really isn't if it's completing the game or not- i'm fairly sure castle wars doesn't own a partyhat set and a cracker, or many other things that many would say are needed for completing the game. The point is, as it stands now, cw is left alone with this ridiculous requirement- going forward, does any of the people supporting 2k hour cw req also support 2k hour MA, BA and conquest requirements? I just can't see how anyone could support one but not the other. CW veteran cape was added very recently, so the other similar requirements are not completely out of the question(think among the lines of 20k MA, 1k Queen kills and 20k conquest rank). I still don't see how you think unlocking almost (aka only the rewards you feel like unlocking) all the rewards in the game is completing it. Almost doing something isn't completing something. It's the trimmed cape for completing everything in the game. Go buy a non-trimmed cape if you only want to complete most of the game. If you haven't unlocked everything how can you say you've completed everything in the game? Regardless of the ridiculous amount of hours and obnoxious things jagex does. I can't support a 2k hour requirement for those mini-games because there is nothing unlocked for doing that. If there was then yes, but there isn't. And I know it's probably hard for you to grasp but not everything everywhere has to be equal. You CAN do things to one thing and not do it to another. I know it's crazy but it's completely possible. And I would say it is out of the question for conquest and MA simply because of the huge failures those two mini-games became. Castlewars has proven to be one of the few mini-games that people actually enjoy and people have continued to play it for years. MA and conquest worlds became ghost towns after only a few months of their release. By the way how is the question not if it is really completing the game or not when you're talking about whether it should be included in a cape for completing the game. I'm willing to bet you and many other people would whine and complain if they made any sort of update like you're suggesting to BA, MA or conquest. People would call it wasted resources which seems to be the common trend around recent update topics now. -
A full zamorak book costs about 20m. I don't know of many people who even use it anymore. So before you burn 20m on a book ask yourself if you actually intend on using it a lot. If you think you might not use it much it'll just rot in your bank while you say "I really wish I could tear those pages out and sell them".

Full Completionist Cape Requirement List (Including Trim. Reqs)

I agree it's nothing more than completing 5000 castlewars games and if jagex didn't make that cape I would say it shouldn't be a requirement. Idk my view of completing this game is unlocking every untradeable item (other than rares) and of course maxing levels. Same with chompy hats, killing 4000 chompys is nothing but killing 4000 chompys the only thing that puts it on the list is the hats you unlock. But nobody seems to care about that. -

Rum Deal, Rogue's Den and fish flingers are not included either, yet they all have untradeable rewards. So why should Castle Wars be a requirement? (with a ridiculous ammount of games) Either include them too or your point is invalid imo. Add them. There's no reason to not include everything with untradeable rewards into the final completionist cape. If you want a cape for completing everything then complete everything. And before people whine about 5k castle wars games not part of completing the game. What exactly is your definition of completing? Is it just "everything that takes a reasonable amount of time but I refuse to complete things that take a long time"? If you don't want to actually complete everything that's fine they made a cape for you. -

yup looks like KP spine is a bot Ah, you've beaten my scribbles. Oh well, it's a bot, no need to hide her identity really. *waits for mods to edit the picture to completely blank out name* Got my classic cape so I've just been wearing it everywhere for some reason.... Cape is cool emote is meh. Veteran cape is kinda ugly imo and the emote is taskmaster on a v basically so I'll probably never even wear it.... -

You're telling me 83 days (or whatever the hell it is) is a reasonable requirement? It's not completing, it's not "becoming good at castle wars," 5,000 games is an absurd requirement. They could have tagged this number onto anything. "Derp kill 20,000 level 21 gaurds." It doesn't benefit anything, you aren't getting better, it's just a requirement to make the cape harder, if not impossible, to get. And as a personal opinion, castle wars is a dead and terrible minigame anyways, which makes the matter even worse. Note that I have no problem that "playing castle wars" is a requirement. 100 games? Meh. 500 games? Meh. But 83 days of straight playing time is by no means reasonable and realistic. 5000 games is the last requirement to unlock everything in castle wars. I don't see how you could call it a completionist cape if you haven't completed everything. I'm not saying it's in any way sane but you haven't actually completed everything without doing this. -

Why are people so surprised/think it's ridiculous that the trimmed completionist cape requires 5k castle wars games? You get the cape for completing everything in the game. Castle wars professional requires the completion of 5k castle wars games if you did not complete this you did not complete the game so why should you get the true completionist cape? -
Then that would make Obby cape worthless and the price would plummet. I think however that the 10 level capes should have some stats You could start it with pretty bad stats and have it gain stats every for every 20 or so levels (10,30,50,70,90) Worthless to everyone who has played longer than 5 years* And the cape costs 36k atm who is going to care if it drops down to maybe 30k. I'll agree with you on the 10s capes though. 133m xp for all 90s cape and it has no stats.

5k castle wars games is like 3/4 the total game time I have on this account......... Does anyone know how many players have actually played that many games? I don't know how the castle wars highscores works so idk if that's games played or flags captured or what.
-
If you have ever changed the name of your account make sure you attempt to recover with your ORIGINAL account name. Took me 3 attempts before I tried that and it worked.
-
I really wish jagex would just tell us how things work instead of having to go through extensive research to find out.....

Here's the monthly topic that has google searches or website view history pointing out that there are tons of bots on runescape. Thanks I was unaware.
