  1. Lol I don't wanna wait 2 weeks Ohhhhh....Right. I'm sorry. When I did the first batch of D&Ds, that wasn't in-play. You're right, then. My bad!
  2. Correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems like you're getting these court summons and throwing them away because they're not the mime ones. Wouldn't doing them increase your chances the next time of getting a mime summons? The court cases themselves are not lengthy affairs by any means, and Zybez has a detailed guide on all the options you need to choose to remove the guesswork. Also we're not facebook. We don't need status updates. Pleeeassee stop double posting. It's spam. >_<
  3. That's something they've failed to control back when the forums were members only. They're putting the cart before the horse simply because it's easier to do and gives them a better public image for the time being. Everyone is looking at them now for winning UK developer of the year again, so of course they're looking to sling some spit onto those shoes for a good ol' shine.
  4. I've never actively hunted for them, but I frequently obtained my through Hard Clue Scrolls.
  5. So if using the forums helps them gain that understanding, why are you opposed to it?
  6. Are you saying that Runescape lacks adequate content for end game play while the rest of the game is geared to driving you to those levels that have little purpose? This is a 2010ers argument      Doesn't sound like an argument to me...sounds like he's actually supplementing your argument.
  7. Making the game easier for people to understand in the beginning is what I'm arguing about, not the overall declining difficulty. When you argue two different things it's hard to keep track and present a cohesive argument. (And, for what it's worth, I happen to agree with you. EDIT: In regards to declining difficulty, anyway. The 'beginners area wall' around Varrock/Draynor/Etc was asinine, to say the least.) If you are saying that your first 350 levels are handed to you, then you're only proving the point that it's beneficial for these newcomers to have access to the forums for help. After all, if you get those levels with virtually no effort/knowledge, you won't know how to proceed. So you'll naturally seek help. Unfortunately, once you get past that point, then Danqazmlp's argument comes into play: the community has no quality control. So the whole concept fails since they're not enforcing things on all levels. I think, at the end of the day, you, me, and Danqazmlp are upset about the same things, really.
  8. When I did master farmers and trapped him in the house, he frequently 'teleported' out of the house. I might've missed it in your guide (I'm solo maging while reading this) but is there any way to prevent this?
  9. Yes I have. But it's pointless for us to make a new account, isn't it? We already know the game. We can't un-learn that. So we can't judge the content as easily as we could if we were completely new to the game. Someone completely new to the game could benefit more from the way the game is structured now versus Tutorial Island. We don't know. We don't see that kind of feedback. Tutorial Island wasn't all that fast to get through either, might I add.
  10. True, but the other updates they've made to their boards, such as the level seperated communities, portray the picture that they're doing it to provide a better environment for their users. And while having it not open to every single person might prevent spamming, it is not solving that glaring problem. Which is why, from the viewpoint of a moderator, the RSOF is permanently crippled. Which is a true shame, really. With all those people, it could be a good community. Just because you don't need it spelled out for you does not mean others don't. You would be surprised how many assumed 'common knowledge' questions are asked on a daily basis on these forums let alone any other board, especially one as diverse as the RSOF. They are attempting to phase out the need for help sites. Always have been since the emergence of things like the Knowledge Base and the like. They're doing a good job, too. But our communities are established to the point that anything less than a major overhaul to their structures could start to change that.

You should try not to double post. And troll. But, hey, baby steps.
  12. Still the most annoying feature of the RSOF, hands down.
  13. Trolling is never fun and games because everyone gets butthurt. Except for the troll Nah, that's just what the troll wants you to think.
  14. Kimberly replied to SoulWars's topic in Rants
    Really now.
  15. When did they change that? Your in-game status and your forum status used to be separate. It's been that way for as long as I can remember, so since around '06 or so. Can't be. I got an in-game mute in 07 and I was still able to use the forums (coincidentally, it was to write a thread panicking about the mute I received while my account was hacked, heh.)

i now i were bored (lol)..well actually , its kinda rant about efficiency prods, so idk o.O meh i dont give a [lame brackets] sh** I refuse to believe you're so ignorant as to not know the difference between ranting and trolling. Just know that you're not fooling anyone.
  17. Well, it hasn't so far, has it? You said it yourself, there are companies who have been doing this far longer than RS. And RuneScape is still doing pretty damn well.
  18. Are you getting it for personal achievement or to make a fast buck? If so, Santas are due to rise.
  19. When did they change that? Your in-game status and your forum status used to be separate.
  20. So does Gadwin Printscreen and it takes far less resources than that piece of crap. Are you sure that's not running Javascript the best? I thought Chrome was pretty bad for java-based programs.

Initial question: "When will my mute disappear?" How do I find out? It stood below the Mute/Ban-pillars, I just realized. That was the answer I was looking for. I'll be unmuted in 3 days, apparently... Which you were told. That area you got your picture from was the Appeal Offense. I didn't think it would have to be spelled out for you, or I would've taken greater pains to elaborate in my first post. But I guess I should have, since you were asking at all meant you didn't even read the first screen. >_< Glad your mute will expire soon.
  22. I take that back. The same depth we see in the first 20 minutes is completely lost throughout the rest of the game. That, plus the ridiculously large amounts of slow-down, functionality glitches, and overall short gameplay is really...boring. All the side-quests are terrible re-hashes of Fable 2 side quests. And it's like Lionhead went, "How can we add endless hours of gameplay without investing any real plot-bolstering content? OH I KNOW, COLLECTION QUESTS!" Which, mind you, take ample advantage of the online features new to Fable 3. And well, good for them, that was an improvement...but it's not real content. This game has become more of a disappointment than an enjoyment. It's like they tweaked a few things from Fable 2 and made it more like The Sims and sent it off to be packaged. This story, without a doubt, had the greatest potential for a truly mind-blowing experience. What we've actually got, though, is nothing to call home about. Meh. I only paid 35$ for it.

You just showed us the picture from the area that tells you when your mute will expire. It's pretty self explanatory.
  24. You can autocast anything with or without a staff, with the exception of the god spells, can't you? o_O
  25. I don't understand what they're waiting for. Just open it up to everyone. With the viewing options (they called them 'communities) it doesn't matter anyway.
