Not true at the slightest. The first day of release, I pushed a bandage in the middle of my inventory by mistake and it healed using the highest one in my inventory. Those bandages are the fastest healing object in runescape. I have healed from 20 hp to 92 in 2 seconds. ;) On a different note, I was in World 144. Some people had convinced a load of people that by digging in the graveyard by the waiting rooms, you could dig up 1m cash. If you tried to tell them they were beeing tricked and lied to, they would go into complete denial and call you a noob for not believing in it. :P Yup. It's nearly impossible to get AGS Spec+Blitz ko'd if you've got bandages and you're paying attention to your health.

The max I've personally seen was 3.

you seem to have missed something important THE FOLLOWING NUMBERS ARE NOT EVEN CLOSE TO ESTIMATES, they are just an example math fail? 9 steel bars/ invo and i doubt you can get 30k/h with iron/steel bars He said it was an estimate. Estimate. Not exact. Get it? The OP stated that he wanted as little loss as possible. You might have a faster exp rate, but you're also LOSING money to do so.
-
[hide=Kietaro1's Post] [/hide] This is my own personal curiosity here: you wouldn't happen to know the EXP per hour rates would you? It seems weird that making straight-steel bars and reselling them would be faster than turning them into cannonballs. It certainly does yield more profit though! :) I only ask because I want to get my smithing on my pure up eventually, and that would be something I could do even on f2p!
-
This happens to me SO MANY TIMES when I'm warring/pking with my clan on F2P. It is the biggest annoyance ever. Not to mention when I'm on my range pure, Dorelei. Makes me want to scream >_<' And I realize a solution for Firefox users has been posted...but since it's too easy to make a typo and have everything asplode on your face, I'd prefer not to change it.

Almost everything smithable leads to profit loss below lvl 74, even with sacred clay hammers.

[hide=Runescape.com SoulWars Article- Rewards section] [/hide] No mention of a bonus per 100 points. I think you're confusing SW with PC.
-
To use the LEAST amount of funds will often lead you to the SLOWEST way possible. But that's also what I did to get to 70 smithing. I purchased iron ore and coal, smithed the bars myself via the Edgeville Furnace, and smithed them into cannonballs. You actually profit this way. But, as previously mentioned, it's HORRIFICALLY slow.

Runescape Patch Notes - 10-February-2009
Kimberly replied to Red_Tanya's topic in General Discussion
Thank you, it was needed. =D> -
I've found that beneath the grand tree is a great and (usually) untapped source of mithril and addy. Rune is spread all over the place: *wild *Neitznot after Fremmy Islands *Beneath Hero's Guild *Dark Beast lair after ME2

This is why customer service contacts were removed in the first place, because of people who abused them. Just sayin' :-w
-
Well then, in that case...Do you dog RSC every time they host a trawler trip saying, "That was ours, thank us for it. :)" As Omali said, unless they specifically steal your storylines (like the Romeo and Juliet re-enacted one), is there much to fear? Fair enough, but you're probably not going to see that anymore, since they'll be wrapped up in their own events now. So, either way, TET wins. TET get people who care about well thought out events, and no pesky mods to worry about because they'll be busy elsewhere! And you have the personal satisfaction of knowing that they came to YOU guys because of your stellar performance and work in the community for so many years. (Of course this means if they mess up, we can blame the guys who trained them. Mwauuauhahahahahahaaha*cough hack*ahah*cough*ah.... >.> Kidding.)

Well thar's yer problem, ma'am. So where's the other muted people in this "mass muting" that you mentioned.

I don't know why they didn't implement a system similar to the Zeal system in PC to deter AFKing. Say you need to get, say, 500 damage in a 20min time period. Or maybe set the damage needed to obtain Zeal Points at the end of the game on a sliding scale proportional to your combat level. :-k This would also nearly make it impossible for those to come in late to the game (say 5mins until a game is over?) and leech off the rewards without doing anything. But, it'd give legitimate people who are waiting something to do while waiting for the next game. Is there any downside to this that I'm not seeing? EDIT: It wouldn't hurt to have at the end of the game a message if you came late. " team was victorious! Because you came to the game late, you receive 1 Zeal for your effort." <--- Regardless if you won or not.

I personally find that if you like this minigame, it's more worthwhile to choose gambling. They give lots of expensive second ingredients for Summoning. If you're playing this game for XP (dear god, why?!) then combat exp is very good. Apparently it's roughly 70k exp per hour when the stat you're redeeming pts in is over lvl 88 (as explained to me by Evil Mumm Ra.) if you can win each game. That's comparable to DT Skeles or Ape Atoll, with no risk of losing items. As for charms...well, I suppose it'd work. But I'd never do it. :?
-
About 28 hours maximum. In optimum conditions mayhap, but since right now it's nigh impossible to find a skilled, balanced game, there's probably a 70% chance you'll lose if you don't choose Blue team.
-
I actually get it quite frequently on low quality, and I've noticed it was when I made frequent visits to the GE. I thought I was going crazy to, until I realized that I logged in at the same spot with the same amount of items each time. Not a very smart "hacker", eh? Same here, Infam0us. I don't know why people think this is a HD-exclusive glitch. If it is, I'll eat my shoe. My shoe is quite smelly and I'd never, EVER eat it, so you know I'm set on my position! *angrypants*
-
It's already been disproved as a fake. Can we move on.
-
Well, I haven't trained prayer today, yet when I track my prayer exp, it's +14. So I think you get prayer exp for when you successfully bury a bone that restores your avatar's level.

I have to agree. I still think this is now an excellent helm to wear for the mole. '-' -
[/hide] ^ false information lol no it doesn't...just scroll to the east and you'll realize that the soul wars is just on the main map west of the elven lands...nice try though :| Actually, it does. I think you didn't understand what he said. He said if you tried to open the world map DURING THE TUTORIAL, it'll display the image he just showed. Then he THEORIZED that dungeon maps might occur soon, which never happened with under/aboveground cities and areas like Dorgesshuun and Edgeville Dungeon. Open your world map right before you talk to Nomad in the first part of the Tutorial. You'll see that it does indeed show the Soul Wars battlefield. EDIT: You can scroll in and out on this image all you want, but all you'll see is just a tinier version of what El already posted. This is true. Once mounted, you can remove it, but you will NOT reobtain the head. I LIKE putting words in CAPS for EMPHASIS. :twss:

This was mentioned in the patch notes, which I think you should read with every update <3

Not that I know of.

What new headband is this? :o AHHH *facepalm* I meant Seers headband... >.> And here's what I've gotten in 5 gambles -60 big bones -7 carved evil turnip -22 unicorn horns -23 wolf bones -9 larupia furs Love gambles for slayer summoning. Slayer is infecting my mind today! :wall: This actually happened to me at w91. I think it has something to do with how slow it marks the progress of a certain team...Because we had cleared ALL the white dots on the obelisk, but it wouldn't mark possession for the Red Team. >_<''
-
Not a big fan of the minigame. It's only good on heavily populated worlds. Otherwise, there's simply not enough people to put up a good defense on the Obelisk, your avatar, AND gather soul fragments. Still, the game is really good with gambles--they give lots of summoning second ingredients like Larupia furs and unicorn horns. The new slayer headband is epic, and it sounds like the new piece of headwear to wear when hunting the mole?
