Oh it's a mistake because you don't like it. Yet thousands of others get along with it rather nicely and actually find it useful if a little mundane.

Personally, I LOVE to 1-item pk when I have nothing else to do. It's amusing and satisfying. So many die-hard pkers get so flustered and angry when they see I have nothing of worth yet they waste their time to kill me. I take a rubber chicken with me and a dragon dagger ++. One doesn't appear as a drop, anyway so I whack 'em with the rubber chicken until they attack me. Then the fun and the insult exchange begins.

It's good for pures who can't get legends. That's about it.

Take the good with the bad. Yeah, you can complain about it, but there is a very very small chance that someone would take out a Fighter plate into the wilderness. B.A. is a hard game to get all those points on. Personally I think that the whole wilderness needs to be revamped with PvP around the entire world map except for "trade routes between towns" and the towns themselves. But that's something else entirely.

Simply enough there aren't as many people RCing as there are people rune mining. Therefore you don't hear from the minority as much.

I personally don't see a problem with selling in game currency. And honestly, Jagex would save themselves the headache if they just allowed it. This newest Rule 7 and 9 thing is just one step in the right direction of giving 'Scapers gaming independance. (This does not mean I encourage/take part in selling or buying currency.)

Look, I understnad you're trying to protect your opinion, albeit it in a fiesty matter, but what's the point of merchanters lowering by 300k? Why lose out on that much profit when the prices have settled there rather well? Yeah, it's hard to get 1mil gp, but it's also hard to get a full guthix set through the treasure trails. Thats how I got my full guthix set, and let me tell you, it was NOT worth the 1.3mil that players spend every day for it. It's a good price. And unless you intentionally inflate/deflate the prices, which is breaking some sort of rule on either here or Jagex's game, they're probably not going to change. Nice hope, I just don't agree with it.

The database, no matter how sophisticated, wouldn't be able to handle an upwards of 10000+ little type-monkeys going, "OMG LETS DO THIS NAME. NO W8 THIS ONE. NO THIS 1 IS COOLER!"

I usually don't let them show up, in turn not having a problem with arrow stealers. However if they do take it, then I ask politely to have them back. If they say no politely, I let it go. If they're a royal pain and rude, I lock myself in a battle of wits with them where I usually win and get to add some funny pwnings to my signature. I only steal arrows when a person blatently walks up to me and deliberately steals my spot, and then proceeds to be a true **** about it.

That's pretty clever, however I can see lots of abuse comming from that. Like a downside would be a level 125 could just stand in deep wildy, saying "FREE BONES FOR GREAT EXP" and then BAM!, beat the crap out of everyone who comes. It'd be a new way of luring. I wouldn't mind mounting some bones though, of those that you've fought in the duel arena or something. I do like the idea of "[playername]'s bones". And to keep it from upsetting the economy, they'd have to be untradeable, I think.

Unfortnuately, not everyone is as mature as we hope to be. Yes, there are some people who will play this game and think, "Hey, lets try that!". But those types of people are the ones who should be monitored on the internet. And that is at the parent's discretion, not ours. If the parents don't like the theiving/killing/etc aspect of this game, then it is their duty as a parent to forbid their child from playing that game until they're able to handle it. That doesn't happen often in this day and age though, but are jagex programmers and the countless thousands that understand that this is just a game at fault? Not in the least. Personally I don't apply morals to a web-based game unless I'm interacting with other people. EDIT: A GAME. YOU'RE A MORON. A GAME. NOT REAL. A GAME. Jesus, I hate * like you. There is nothing wrong with provoking thoughtful conversation. Responses like that spoil the forums when us "morons" try to talk civilly.
