Jagex is Going to Kill Bounty Hunter.
It doesn't say. In the knowledge base, it merely says this: Since the High Alchemy of Easter Egg is like what, 6gp, you're probably right. I just assumed it'd be based off of the GE because everything else having to do with the trade limit is. I'll have to look into this later. '-'

what is the
For the lower combats, collecting secondary ingredients/main ingredients. For the long term investor, GE merchanting and Manage Thy Kingdom. For the experienced, God Wars. '-'

Jagex is Going to Kill Bounty Hunter.
How is that possible? What you pick up affects your trade limit. If it was even visible on the ground, he shouldn't have been able to pick it up. Smells phony to me.

the new halloween items???
Because it looked stupid before? :3 It needed an update, it was too grey and funky before. I sort of hope that Reaper Robes aren't the update :( Shade robes already did the job quite nicely.

Your first dragon drop
My first dragon drop was actually a few months ago during a Steel Dragon slayer assignment. It was a dragon skirt. I still have it in my bank, actually; it's nice because now I have a placeholder for my original skirt. ^^

Jagex is Going to Kill Bounty Hunter.
It is for most religions. '-' However, it is how speculation works. Acenator clearly said, "it's just something to think about." He is not arguing that it will happen, merely trying to keep people's minds open. Arguably, that's hard to do since the OP has presented his speculation as fact. I think the OP has abandoned this thread though. :-#

Tip.it Times Presents: A Time of War
Ahhh. :D Thought provoking Tip.it Times are sooo refreshing. Yes, balanced and skillers are dying breeds. Combat has been, for as long as I've played, the main focus. Part of this, I think, is tied to what I believe is a flawed combat system. Yet there's one other part: Jagex refuses to acknowledge any sort of "pure" style account. They WANT people to do everything, not just what interests them. While anyone can take a stab as to why this is--one person's guess is as good as any--it doesn't change the issue. They will not make allowances for any sort of type of "character" to do things easier. The general population is most familiar with pures complaining about armor and quests. Another lesser example is the Summoning skill--which can be fairly useful for skillers attempting to turn a profit--which is mostly trained by combat-based methods. The theiving chests in the goblin city are a joke, and they're not worth getting 60 summoning there. It's sort of sad. This new pking craze, where pures will be in even higher demand, isn't exactly helping either. And if anyone understood that ramble, kudos. It's 1:34 am and I have 6 more chapters to read on Java Data Structures. God help me.

Thoughts on the log economy
I'd guess an increase would come from fletching and alching more than training construction. But mmk.

Where would you be in life without Runescape?
I would be playing some other online game far more addictive, like online poker, or WoW. Sad but true, addictive nature will out. #-o

RuneScape Cash shop
Agreed. goddamnit, give some reason why it is bad. an 1 word responses are not allowed on these forums, those will be more appreciated on the RSOF. anyway, I think new familiars would be great, but act more as pets, so no time limit etc. I don't agree with the idea of selling holiday items (like [Caution: Jagex Rule Violation] etc) because the thing is getting them on that day, not just have an account on that YEAR. Implemented right--putting game content first and only caring about the cash shop once a month/once every two months--the shop could be a valuable flow of income for Jagex. I think they're already experimenting with this when they released the full version of their "Jagex Shop." If it helps Jagex get more income to warrant hiring more people for customer support and content development, sure. Why not. The problem is that given most online games that have "cash shops", far too much content goes into THEM and not the actual game (case in point: Maplestory, Gaia, Gunbound, Conquer Online, etc) I believe that because of these trends that seem to overcome games that implement these shops with the best intentions (at first) causes so many people to object to your thread. Personally, I'm one of those people. I object it strongly, as I've already said. Should they wish to pursue other avenues of income, they should stick to the "Jagex Shop." It's only speculation as to where the profits would go from these cash shops. Given that, I don't feel like there's any sort of discussion here that wouldn't cause more arguing or more arrogant posts. Some people have given interesting ideas as to what COULD go in there, though. Meh. \

~Discussion: Guys playing as Girl Characters?~
My best friends in Runescape who were guys have played as girls. They claim they have more fun. I don't question how they play the game so long as their game-play doesn't affect my game-play experience. People can do whatever they want. This is an online game. If guys have an unfair advantage by being a girl character, then girls have that same 'unfair' advantage since guy character-models don't "have it" either. And that's just a load of poppycock. Just don't expect me to give out free stuff due to your gender and I'll be happy

Ectotokens
Er...well, why did they not give all the skills "action-x" yet? They're working on them steadily. Like I said, it doesn't mean there's an update coming. It's not even a reliable factor. :/

Behind The Scenes - October Edition
Oh...good point...I forgot about that!
-
Ectotokens
Well by that logic stringing bows and having the finished project go along so well, but they didn't exactly have another fletching update after "string-all" came out. Though, I do hope you're right. An update for Ectotokens would be much appreciated. Then you'll be laughing all the way to the bank!
-
Ectotokens
I doubt it. Jagex seems to be making more and more skills ergonomic (ie Designed for ease of use) to reduce liability or other sorts of things. I think that update was just another 'ergonomic update' much like cook-all, string-all, gem cut-all, etc.

Jagex is Going to Kill Bounty Hunter.
To be honest...I had the same exact thought ever since I read the "Future PvP Updates" article. Clans now have places to have returning fights, safe fights, rule constricted fights. There are free for all 'safe' arenas for those to try out their skills. There's a dangerous arena as well, for those who like a challenge. The major factor seperating Dangerous FFA and BH? Ranking systems and Classic looting. The new PvP game will allow looting, regardless of it's sort. Dangerous FFA can easily have a ranking system implemented. So why allow BH, a place where transferring of all sorts goes on consistantly, exist? Still, I don't think the update would be done without quite a bit of upset, if at all.

Behind The Scenes - October Edition
I'm sorry to get a little off topic, but can titan scrolls be attached to the types of enchanted helms? I know that Jagex's definition of a "combat familiar" is a little sketchy at best... Because, well, if they could...Attach scrolls to your helm beforehand and don't summon your familiar. Then, go out a-hunting for some tantalizing prey, summon your monster, and start hacking away at the unfortunate target while your summon randomly beats the crap out of your opponent via scrolls. ^^

Jagex Attempting to Stop Monopolies?
It's one thing to make a profit off of changing markets. For one, that's just making a good investment. It doesn't quite harm the market, but simply plays off of the natural rising and falling trends of any market. However, it's another thing entirely to call a group of people with the sole intent to manipulate the markets for just monetary gain. It is wrong. Playing like that puts everyone else, including "regular merchants" at a severe disadvantage and cripples an already unstable market system. I am really happy they're doing something about merchant clans. This is a severe problem for the average player.

Is solo mole really that bad?
Hmm. Interesting. You make me want to try my hand at soloing it!

Behind The Scenes - October Edition
I'm happy for those updates. Two minigames sound great. People have been waiting for the PKing worlds for a long time now, even if I haven't. And yet, I'm really disappointed. There's only one quest coming out this month, the holiday one. I would've rather had one mini-game and two quests this month, then two quests and a mini-game next month, etc. Still, pkers have been the slighted party ever since they removed the Wilderness and made BH non-multi. I guess us quest-lovers can step aside for one month.

Defender Of Varrock - 29th September 2008
And the 10k defense? The 10k smithing? Adding these all together, the time it would take to get EACH amount of Exp from the quest reward, and it evens out. Heck, it's probably even a bit better. 10k defense with a whip takes what, 10mins? Mining is fast, as you said, so about...5-10 minutes? 2k agility exp, that's 5 more minutes. 10k smithing? 5 minutes. Now add those together and what do you have? 25-30 minutes. Yeah, that's about right, really. : EDIT: And I haven't even factored in cost!

WARNING: Clan Wars
God forbid the dangerous arenas be dangerous :ohnoes: Sorry for the rudeness, but c'mon. I purposely avoided Dangerous Arenas because of this. There was no point to them. Now at least they are distinguishable from Safe Arenas.

Defender Of Varrock - 29th September 2008
I don't understand people like yourself (not trying to be offensive). If you work out how long it takes for you to do the quest, in that time you could of had double the exp in each of those skills and that's generally the case for every quest. The quest takes less than 30 minutes with a guide (edit: or a friend to give you helpful pointers ^^). You mean to tell me you can get 40k+ experience in those various skills in less than 30 minutes? I'd be impressed.

Defender Of Varrock - 29th September 2008
The quality of this quest wasn't really lacking. The 'puzzles' were refreshing...but this storyline really seemed to lack. Oh, to be sure, it offered tasty little morsels of information...but even with reading the Lores thoroughly, I felt this quest left you hanging too soon. I'd classify this as a "mini quest" if anything :/ Oh, by the way, I think there's a bug with this game quest (edit lel). My friend did this quest, and he didn't meet the hunter requirement, yet he was able to complete the quest and receive his awards. He and I already reported it as a bug, but meh. Has anyone had a similar experience? Edit: It's possible that Lucien will play a big role in the "Epic Quest." The gargoyle mentioned the ritual, as many have already stated, but Zem didn't believe Lucien "had it" yet. (Mind you, I'm paraphrasing here. I didn't memorize it because I didn't take much note of it) "It" I think might refer to the recently redesigned Staff of Armadyl, maybe? What's more interesting to me is why the staff is required in this 'ritual' they keep speaking of. Is the ritual that to revive Zamorak? I think I get a little confused with the history at this point XD

The New Regen brace
Does the Regen Bracelet stack with the Bunyip's healing special? Or is it even a suitable replacement?
