  1. Dunno why people are going crazy. At least they're not actually publishing Trading Cards. They're just fun little printout things. I still lol'd though.
  2. Mod Ash said they've temporarily removed it, since it had no use. I will try to find the QFC of him saying it.
  3. Another thing I found interesting about that quest is in that Yeti cave, you'll find a scrap of paper that is a warning note, of sorts. However, it has two crossed out words-- "Feind" and "Us." Sounded a bit like, "Find us" imo. '-' Gago, after you completed the quest, did any of them drop yeti hair again? Perhaps it's like Mort'ton...even though that Diamond Root is extinct according to Asleif. Ah well. I enjoyed this quest. ^^
  4. Tch. Now where am I going to afk read :(
  5. When you say the month and the date, that's what it filters to. Chill out, bro. You're getting upset over a name. lol. EDIT: Has anyone taken this tablet to Peer the Seer yet?
  6. Someone said that this quest was ranked "Master" but apparently is notoriously short? However we've already gotten two quest specific items which produce reactions (and rewards) from npcs. Perhaps this is like a parcelled out One Small Favor quest '-' Yay speculation!
  7. My opinion would be that lots of smaller clans implement this very same principle.
  8. How you complete Runescape depends on WHY you play, what you view important, and what goals you set for yourself. You can't have a cookie cutter list and say, "This is the definitive How To Complete Runescape checklist because I say so." You're only one person. You do not represent the "Everyman." That being said, fantastic effort put into list, regardless if I 100% agree or not. Here's what I've completed thusfar: All 99 skills All minigame ranks maxed All quests completed All emotes unlocked All music unlocked Champions' Challenge completed White Knights' Master rank All highest ranks in Barbarian Assault Possess all Beacon Network rewards Possess enough Castle Wars tickets to buy the highest level equipment (or all at once, not sure yet) Possess all Chompy bird hats Possess all Circus items Possess all Pest Control items <--- I need the mace but don't really want it right now (This was a pain!) Completed Rogues Trader miniquest Possess all Great Orb project clothing rewards Possess Lumberjack outfit Possess all Trouble Brewing outfits Completed Barbarian Training Completed Bar Crawl (automatic if you've done all quests) Unlocked all Balloon Routes Completed Ghostly Robes miniquest Completed Hunt for Surok Completed Knight Waves Completed Mage Arena (all 3 spells) Completed Shadow Sword miniquest Completed Tarn's Lair Unlocked the Abyss Unlocked Mogres Completed Varrock Museum Completed Wizard Burial Possess Builder's outfit Possess Pilot's outfit Possess all Treasure Trail items Burn 500 Vyrewatch Unlock Slayer Helmet Unlock Slayer Rings Unlock Broad Bolts
  9. That's something of what I was thinking. Since a chief concern seems to be that it'd be overpowering, and another similar concern is that Prayer is too defensive/saradomin based...Perhaps a different set of god-aligned prayers could be instituted, like this omni prayer, but instead it comes with a bit of a stat reduction to offset the time saved by protecting you. ...does that make sense at all? XD
  10. I highly doubt captcha will come back, they haven't used that since sleeping bags. Don't need sleeping bags if you have a "rest" option. Mod Ash only said the item sleeping bags weren't coming back into the game, he didn't mention anything about fatigue. TBH I think a fatigue-like system is a VERY likely possibility, partly even more so because of all the overnight 26k'ers. Not to mention personal autoing, which RWT'ers who train people's accounts for them might very well use. It honestly just all makes sense to me.
  11. It's effective, but I'm not used to it yet...I still find myself switching to the prayer tab and manually selecting them.
  12. The ignorance that strange fruits are a discontinued item are driving up the price. Assuming they'll go up to 20k per fruit is completely asinine.
  13. IMO the Adze should've never had the speed of a dragon axe to begin with. If anything, with the release of the Dragon Pickaxe it should get a downgrade to be rune-like across the board.
  14. Finishing doesn't have to mean ending with 1 quest tbh. I think that's why a few people had a problem with the ending to the Dorgeshuun quest.
  15. Meh...After reading some of the arguments here I have to say both sides have a point. All in all, I think Jagex should've impressed upon us the "new' structure of the DD...not mention it once and hope we remembered. I daresay this DD would've come as less of a shock if they emphasized its "blog-like" nature. And Mod John also said on the RSOF that he plans to post another part of this in the next two weeks once he has more content down on paper, so to speak. My rage has abated slightly. Slightly. <3
  16. Lol. No kidding. I think from the sound of the DD he made it clear that he won't be ending it with just one quest. We've got two or more coming our way, I think, as he always took care to refer to future developments of the storyline as "quests" not "quest". Tbh, Jagex succumbed to pressure again from its players. While many of us were crying for a DD, they gave it to us half-finished and too soon. These barely outline the concepts of future quests, I'd go so far as to say that these are 3am ideas just written down on paper. While it was nice to see what this Mod planned on doing, I hoped an article that was supposed to give us insight into the development of an update would actually cover...oh, I don't know, some actual developments. He said it himself that there's nothing even developed for this storyline. Ah well. It's like the Monkey's Paw thing. Wish for your son to come back from the dead and he'll come back as a zombie :3 Braiiiinnnssssss...
  17. Highly doubt they would have liked it if it wasn't a fun duel, and they lost money because you were hitting harder more consistently due to bug abuse.
  18. It's a gameplay bug. When was bug abuse ever taken lightly?
  19. I tracked until I could catch the crimson birds. Then stuck with birds until lvl 35, and moved on the salamanders.
  20. Mod Raven said Tuesdays weren't update days, when they were in the past. (EX. Summoning/farming/WGS released on a tuesday)
  21. You could always try your hand at posting a thread in their Billing Section once you get members again. Perhaps if you can convince them they can give a charge-back of the remaining .95 you were so loathe to give up <3
  22. He seems to be saying, "Yes" to all the right things and enjoying the cash flow come in. But judging by the public affection for him not only here but on RSOF...I'd say he's played his role to the hilt--a glorious public figure, pushing for change and open-ness that RS'ers have craved for years. Hey, kind of sounds like a president I know!
  23. What a disappointment. :( Now I'll have to find some other uncrowded spot to kill cows on f2p while training my range pure :( I'm glad though that they're getting away from the "Members-advertising" aspect. Now if only they'll remove corrupt weapons and restore some of the balance in Melee in pvp-f2p...
  24. Most likely. Logically it makes sense. Instead of having two classes of PVP servers they'd have one class of pvp and one subclass of PvP BH. And voila, no RWT issues. Because I certainly haven't heard of anyone RWT'ing with PVP. Drop fixing, maybe. But not RWT.
